  • Steady hands; Cassie's long career as an EOD operative has given her remarkably steady hands, which assists not only her usual work but also her marksmanship and any first aid she may need to administer

  • Item: M932 Designated Marksman's Rifle, "Felicia"This Weapon is hand tweaked by Cassie, using a larger 30 round box magazine with proximity-fused high explosive warheads, the same rounds used in some variants of the M793 SAW. Lacks the 3x Smart-Link scope. This weapon is a loud and powerful upgrade to the standard M932 that has served Cassie faithfully through the years.
  • Item: M41 SPNKr Rocket Launcher Used on occasions where Cassie needs a lot of firepower to take targets at range, This venerable weapon is technically obsolete with the existence of the M57 Pilum, but Cassie prefers this system for its familiarity.
  • Item: M6H2 Magnum PDWS This stripped down sidearm serves as a last resort weapon more than anything for Cassie, and she's removed most of the advanced features of the weapon, leaving it a very basic, but powerful and easily used backup.
  • Item: M9 Fragmentation grenade Standard upsized explosive ordinance given to Spartans, Cassie will always carry at least two of these grenades, and will carry up to six if the mission requires.


Armor: MJOLNIR Gen2 EOD armor, in yellow and black. Uses the Unbreakable VISR to further negate damage to the helmet's visor. Equipped with Artemis Tracking System.

History

History: Born on Harvest in 2520, Cassie was conscripted into the Alpha group of the Spartan III program following the attack on harvest and later seeing her adoptive family killed by Kig-Yar pirates, but was secreted away along with several other members before Alpha Company's 300 were KIA during Operation: PROMETHEUS. A specialist in explosives of all kinds, She saw comparatively little combat during her years, being stationed mainly on the inner colonies quelling the Insurrection, and generally taking care of any explosives measures ONI needed. When Earth was attacked in 2552, she was recalled and helped defend Orbital Defense Station Madrid from Covenant attackers and was critical in stopping the antimatter bomb they'd managed to get aboard. She later was involved in several skirmishes when Truth's forces invaded, mainly supporting other resistance teams in setting up sabotage points to slow the advance of the Covenant to key defensive structures. Later reassigned to Infinity and swept into the general Spartan-IV program, she took the last name of Rawlins to keep her cover and was again instrumental in setting traps for invaders during the Battle of Infinity. During this time, she upgraded to Gen2 EOD armor and was later assigned to the Fortitude South for her explosives expertise. As a Spartan-III, much of her military history is inked over by ONI or credited to the Spartan-II program.

While your sheet is mainly good, I will only allow you to have either the Rocket Launcher or the Rail Gun, not both. Additionally, you will have to nick the full-auto part of the DMR if you would like to keep the Explosive Warheads.

On another side note; since I don’t allow players to have a power weapon at the start of the game, ONI will keep the rocket until there is an express need for it.

I can absolutely nix the full auto, though I did intend for Cassie to simply have those larger weapons as her preferred ones. As such she'd take one if permitted and which she took, if any, would be determined upon what would be needed by ONI. I saw the similar situation with the Grav Hammer and sort of assumed.

If that can't be done, then I'll probably keep her with the SPNKr.

For now, keep the rocket launcher and somewhere down the line you can earn a Rail Gun with Req points, if that’s fine. I just didn’t want people to start off as essentially op figures in the game :P

@Lauder any chance I could get a beam rifle as a possible req option? I didnt mention it in his CS as I though we were only meant to include our basic loadout but he'd have used beam rifles often during his time in the military. Also what are we saying about energy scimitars and such? I'm not desperate for one but they were used in contact Harvest by the jackals on the ship in that novel

Contact harvest is an awesome novel! Greene has an energy dagger (which is projected from a bracelet type thing). Anyway, the energy cutlass is a pretty simple weapon for a jacket to carry. It'd be cool to see one of those self-destructive thingies. @Pyromaniacwolf

Funny you mention the SPI armor. I originally planned to use the first version, then changed to the headhunter version, then went back to ODST armor. It was a long debate for me and thought it was cool you mentioned it @UltimoScorp

Zertus is gonna have to be told by ONI she's in charge. As far as he's concerned he has the highest rank (which, in Jiralhanae structure, he is) and she's a demon who had to be changed to make powerful. So unless they tell him 'She's in charge' they'll pretty much be:



Pretty often off mission.
