While I agree it’s too risky to go back to the entrance to rest, it’s also too risky to move forward without healing up too. I think we should try to camouflage outsides in the mushrooms area and try to heal up there.

Yes, that is my stance as well, that little enclave area there would be the best place to heal that we know of. The potions are something we still aren't likely to see more of and could be the difference of life and death for someone in combat who is about to be slain. I would rather we expend Hit Dice and if need be some uses of Lay on Hands.

Taking into account the current tally of there only being one opinion on the contrary, unless further suggestions against seeking a reprieve along the already taken path rise I shall see to advancing us tomorrow. Would do so tonight, but I find it prudent to give all some time to consider the arguments made on both sides.

Sounds like a good time to me! Now sure how you'll join in this instance, but I'm sure you and the boss man got something worked out. What's your character concept? Gnome eldritch knight who uses a hunting trap like a flail? Perhaps a Lizardman druid who fancies himself the greatest chef in all of the lands? Or maybe something classical like the Protector Assimar Warlock of the Fiend who is trying to harness the powers of heaven and hell?

@Hekazu Yes, this way there won't be any issues and we can integrate the Cleric in a more ideal place than him/her randomly being in a Dungeon, which would make more sense. (I might not stick with that specific imagery, might do a female since my cleric isn't going to be CE in this game)

I just hope the other two post up, I would love to join as soon as possible.

It seems we have the conclusion to the short rest. Anyone that used hit dice to heal may recover an additional four (4) points of HP thanks to Parum's song. In case your next course of action is to return through the batcave (not the one with batman), I am still missing Stealth checks from Brannor (remember you were granted Guidance) @The Harbinger of Ferocity, Orchid @Lucius Cypher, Kyra @Norschtalen and Torus @Zverda. I'm unsure if Parum can be of assistance with the sneaking since she needs to focus on her own just as well, so we'll not account for that.

Then again, you could head back through the mushrooms and not risk rousing the attention of the bats. It's a whole another thing whether you'll find anything worthwhile there though.

Better the devil you know than the devil you don't, so I'd say we go through the cave.

Fortunately, I rolled a nat 20 for a total of 22 for my stealth. Looking good thus far!

For the adventure again through the bats' portion of the cave, @Hekazu, Brannor rolls a 15 for his disadvantaged Stealth (Dexterity) check, with a bonus from Guidance of 2. With a total of 17, he at least has decent odds of remaining hidden.

Ugh, I don't know why the ranger of the group is doing so bad at her stealth either. I have an 8. I don't know how Hekazu determines the score, but that puts us at an average of 15.4, 15 rounded down. Which is better than before, but I hope it's good enough.
