"It's good to meet you too" Lori said, She looked around the table to see everyone else in the group. The table seemed to be getting a lot fuller.

The girl known as Lori had taken the seat next to Andrew. He wanted to strike up a conversation, but the first thing he said to her was, "I like your name."
"My name?" Lori mumbled. "T-Thanks". She didn't understand why he liked her name, it was a horrible name. Aloria... bah. "What's y-your name?".

"It's Andrew," he introduced, adjusting his glasses. "I got shipped here from Minnesota."
Amber just sat thought, as Lauren turned to the others. She thought about the Administration, and how they were better than her dad (giving her food and etc.) She overheard Lauren trying to comfort the others, but there was something fake about the way she talked. Again, Amber felt like she was hiding something, like that this place was a lot worse than what it was known to be. She shrugged off the idea and turned to the others, trying to be social for once.

Lauren looked at the Halcyon kids, "Want to see the dorms if you're all ready?" She finished her pizza and drank down a sprite. She felt a bit overwhelmed by all the new people at once, but it was a good feeling. She actually had someone to talk to for once

Andrew was certainly ready, but he merely nodded.
"Minnesota, wow" said Lori "I'm from Utah". Utah wasn't really a popular state but Lori didn't mind that. Lori turned towards Lauren and stood up. "I-I'm ready".

Lauren stood up and started to walk out of the dining hall. She looked behind her shoulder, making sure that they all got up too. She didn't want to risk losing one of them in the dark.
"Actually, I'll meet y'all over there in a bit." she said as she stood up to walk out of the cafeteria. Amber wanted to explore the campus a bit, so she walked in the direction of bright lights. As she got closer, she realized it was a track. Amber was not the athletic type, she was more of a "stay in your room on your computer" type. Walking towards the bleachers, she pulled out her cigarettes. Amber was addicted to them, and she knew that one day she'd regret it. But that didn't stop her. She found a spot at the top of the bleachers and admired the large campus. She let out a puff of smoke. "I guess this place won't be too bad.."
Thomas decided to join the conversation "I'm from canada! So Hello there my American neighbours!"

Andrew followed the group. "Utah, huh," he said to Lori. "I hear that I think Salt Flats and Utahraptor."

"Alright, that's fine, just don't get lost." Lauren replied, she hoped Amber wasn't going out to smoke again. She lead the others out and down a trail that read Halcyon House ahead the trail led up to a dorm building. Flowers were planted in the front, and woods were in the back. Yellow lights glowed inside the windows. The stars shone above it all, this had been Lauren's only home. She put her hand out and smiled, "Welcome to your new home." With that she led them inside to the large living room. A fire burned in the hearth and a bunch of board games were stacked on one wall. Sofas and chairs filled the room with end tables. A set of stairs was on the right, along with a door leading to a hall, "First floor is guys, second is girls, third is guys, and fourth is girls. Go ahead and pick out a dorm." she said, "Your supplies should be in the closet, they arrived yesterday from the trucks."
