Able looked away as his face flushed with some embarrassment at being read so baldly. Yes, he did want to talk about his power; he hadn't been around anyone who found it interesting since the Mistening. He just thought it only polite to ask someone about theirs first, rather than just ramble on.

"I don't think there's a word for mine. I can kind of, like, put my weight somewhere else, temporarily. Like, I'll touch something, and it will get heavier, but I'll get lighter."

They came up to the building and stopped to comment on their apparent new home.

"Yeah, maybe kinda ritzy. I'm Able, by the way."

Fumbling with a ring of keys the tall driver stepped onto a grand porch supported by pillars. A frozen over the garden of freshly planted ferns and flowers eerily stay frozen in blossom. The shutters to the large building itself were closed and no light or sound passed through. Finally, with a satisfied grunt, Marco twisted the key and open up the open gathering room. Inside, the cozy warmth of a real fire in the fireplace blasted out and swept over them with a strong breeze. Inside a few men and women stood to wait. Stepping out from among them was Doctor Muller. He was a thin, gaunt man who had a stark crows peak around his beady eyes. His ginger hair was growing bald on his oblong-shaped head. On his long, skinny nose rested a pair of thin-framed glasses.

"Welcome Students! I'm so glad you've finally arrived" He announced in a loud voice obviously practiced with speaking to crowds. It was loud and affirmative but gentle and contained. Gesturing behind him was a large pot of beef stew, and around it was a few other smaller dishes of fish, bread and a delectable three-layered cake. Standing around the meals were a few other adults with dress clothes on. They all waited pleasantly to be introduced.
"Please, make yourselves at home, there are bedrooms to put your things upstairs. If you need help, Marco here will gladly help you with your luggage. I hope he hasn't scared you, children, he really wouldn't hurt a fly" Muller rambled on in a jolly manner as he ushered them in. He seemed very excited, and his words came out in a flurry.

The room itself resembled a great lodge. On two stories there were bedrooms on either side with an open center (that they currently stood in) were a massive fireplace proudly sprouted. There seemed to be one other room at the end of the hall.

Angel raised an eyebrow in slight confusion at the reaction. Did his response just make this boy nervous? It was not exactly what he had expected from someone who would decided to start a conversation in such a situation. Regardless, the blond continued to speak, describing his abilities due to there apparently not being a name for it yet. He listened to 'Able' as he watched the bus driver work his way through a set of keys, before replying the taller teenager again.

"Interesting. It's Ángel," he commented, and first gave Able the Spanish pronunciation of his own name. "You may call me Angel if it's more convenient for you."

Angel felt immensely relieved once they were let inside the building, delighting in the warmth of the fire. He was slightly taken aback at the enthusiasm of the man whom he assumed to be Dr. Muller. He glanced over the other people in the area, presumably the staff members of the academy, while Muller was speaking, and when that was over, he found himself still taking it all in, mainly the fanciness of the whole setup and the mention of the bedrooms. Uncertain about where to begin, Angel hesitantly raised a hand, or more like a couple of fingers, before asking a question.

"Have the rooms already been allocated, Sir?"

"A nurse, huh? I know who to come to if I get hurt." Noelani crooked a smile at Rebecca. When they got closer, her smaller companion made a comment about how nice the place looked. Noelani glanced around. Everything here looked soul-less to her, from the plants to the outside of the building. "It's got glam, I guess. but I wouldn't want to be the groundskeeper." She retorted.

A short distance ahead, the bus driver opened the doors and everyone began to step inside. Noelani picked up the pace, hoping to get Rebecca out of the cold faster. When they finally stepped into the foyer, she took in everything. From the fire place, to the other men and women, and finally the "Mysterious Doctor Muller", who didn't look threatening, but neither did Rebecca for the most part. She was sure both of them were capable of killing her... not that they would.

When the boy who stared at her earlier spoke up, she gave him a dose of his own medicine and gave him a side-long peek. She didn't think she would have to room with anyone, she wasn't used to that. It made his question more pressing immediately, at least to herself, but she quickly followed it up with her own.

"And what would you have us do here...? Noelani added casually on to Angel's comment.

As the crew entered the driver closed the door behind them then took off his boots, standing next to them as he leaned on the wall. At Muller's comment, he gave the man a harsh glare and moved towards the soup and greedily drank it down. The adults in the room themselves began to dish themselves up as well.

Muller furrowed his brow at the comment. Well, no, we haven't assigned you rooms but as your caretakers, for the time being, I don't think you'll be sleeping in the same room as a girl. The last thing we need is a baby on the way"

"I can look after you, but do try to not get hurt!" Rebecca laughed, although she had to quickly hurry along after the quicker girl, almost having to jog to stay alongside Noel. "Being a groundskeeper here sounds like a really lonely job...hey, isn't that the bus driver? I thought he stayed with the bus?" Rebecca commented as the man opened the door, getting inside happily and glad for both the warmth and the food. She didn't know what to think of Dr Muller, but still smiled when he spoke. He seemed...like a good public figure. But doctors had to be, right?

And to put on such a feast! That was nice.

Then there was talk of rooms. Room allocation? She looked over the group, wondering how rooms would be allocated. Still, it was rude not to have food, so she smiled at Noel and said "I'm going to get something to eat while it's still hot. I'm sure Dr Muller will be happy to answer questions while we eat, right?" she looked at the Doctor at that to confirm

Doctor Muller nodded with vigor at her reply and motioned extravagantly to the food laid out for them.
"Of course, please feel free to ask me or any of the other staff if you want to know anything at all. We'll do our best to answer, but not even we have all the answers after all" Muller beaconed in a delighted manner.

The room was cozy and furnished with old antique yet beautifully crafted ottomans and padded rocking chairs. Other long tables indicated the place may serve as both an eating area and a lounge. A few of the adults were seated in chairs made of wicker close to the fire, currently eating and talking together. The rest where plating themselves, save for a portly man with a red face and ginger hair. He helped serve out the soup.

Able felt quite at home suddenly. The room was cozy, and full of friendly older people, who reminded him immediately of half forgotten aunts and uncles at a family gathering or something of the sort. Thinking of his fellow students as cousins made them less intimidating, too. They didn't know each other, but they were all connected by something. Not blood relation, maybe, but something very real all the same.

"Thank you, Doctor," Able said, quietly, giving him a warm smile as he passed by on his way to the stairs. A full exploration would wait until he had eaten, but he wouldn't feel properly comfortable until he had dropped his stuff off in a safe(he hoped) place.

He was halfway up the stairs when he turned back, noticing he was the only one going up already.

"I guess no one else cares if the best rooms are taken?"

Angel did not know what to think of Dr. Muller's response to his question for a moment. The bit he had added about not needing a baby seemed to be out of nowhere. In fact, his question included nothing about boys and girls rooming together or not. He was just curious as to whether or not the rooms were already available for them to get settled in. He also found it rather strange that the man had not actually acknowledge what the golden-eyed girl had said right after he had asked his question.

"That wasn't why I was... asking..." he attempted to reply to the comment about him having a female roommate, but trailed off when he realized that the people around him were beginning to move on to other things, and just glanced around awkwardly. "Okay..."

Able then took another approach, and probably a more effective one, physically making his way up to where the rooms were. At the other boy's question, Angel turned back to Dr. Muller.

"If we are free to choose our own rooms, then I'd like to get settled in first as well, Sir."
