Jason Andrews

The door of the helicopter slid open letting in the harsh sunlight from outside. Stepping from the copter and onto the solid ground was Jason Andrews the 19-year-old duelist grinned as he looked around the new place it was massive. There were hundreds of other students all wandering around some trading some just chatting. Looking around Jason spotted his brother and instead of approaching him, he decided to just head toward the doors. As he wandered a speaker system crackled to life and a voice came over the intercom.
"Welcome Students both new and returning, Please make your way to the auditorium where our opening ceremonies will begin!" said the voice of the man who must be the headmaster.
Perfect, that's where I was headed anyway.

Cameron Mason

Cameron happily bounced off the helicopter, and stepped onto the ground. "Weeeee! That was so much fun!" Cameron exclaimed. He was finally on the Duel Academy island. Cameron was excited to be here. A few months of learning how to play his favorite game? Absolutely nothing could go wrong. There was an announcement from someone who was probably the headmaster, telling everyone to meet in the auditorium. Cameron happily skipped over in that direction. "Boing! Boing! Boing!"

Cameron didn't pay attention to where he was going, and crashed into another boy from behind. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Hey, you look familiar! Have I seen you somewhere? I'm Cameron btw. This is gonna be so much fun! Isn't it fun?"

Jacklyn Whittman

Jacky stepped off the helicopter, goggles over her eyes, bag of tools slung over her shoulder, and deck at her hip. She whistled at the sight of the academy. "Wow... Place is bigger than I thought it was gonna be..." She said to herself as she walked along, the sound of the intercom catching her attention.

"Welcome Students both new and returning, Please make your way to the auditorium where our opening ceremonies will begin!" said the voice of the man who must be the headmaster.

"Ok then... Let's see what this place has got to offer." She smiled as she headed to the auditorium. "Wonder if anyone else has a machine deck... It would be interesting to compare..." she mumbled to herself.

Kayn Westbridge

The Helicopter landed and powered down, soon the doors opened and the new students started to disembark from the craft, finally Kayn was the last person on, in between reading things on his personal tablet and silently conversing with one of his duel monster cards, he stood up - as much as possible given his height, and made his way after his fellow students. Looking around he saw the buildings that would be his home for the next several months.

"Mmm - this will be new." Speaking out loud for the first time since before he boarded, soon after a public announcement sounded, welcoming all the Students and directing them to the auditorium. Must be one of the head faculty - seems friendly. Moving his left hand, which still had the Duel Monster card in it, seeing it was a copy of X- Krawler Qualiark he once more thought towards the card First step towards something new.

Putting the card in his deck box and making sure he had everything, and powering up a map of the island, started to make his way towards his destination and a start of a journey he could not even begin to imagine.

Michelle Kine

Michelle stepped out of the helicopter once it landed, taking in the new sights. It was here that she would soon be shaping her new future. Michelle took a deep breath, readying herself for whatever challenges would lie ahead. She checked her luggage and pockets, making sure one last time that she had everything accounted for.

"Welcome Students both new and returning, Please make your way to the auditorium where our opening ceremonies will begin!" said the voice of the man who must be the headmaster.

After the announcement, Michelle began to make her way to the auditorium, curious to see what these "opening ceremonies" would entail.

Dorian Anderws

Dori climbed out of the helicopter, an irritated look covered his face as the spinning blades caused his clothes and hair to whip around in multiple directions rapidly as they slowed to a stop. With hands in pockets, he let out a deep sigh and began walking towards the academy. Dori was actually kind of excited to begin this little adventure, not that he would tell anyone else that. He had proved himself in the realm of amateur dueling and was waiting for the moment to finally take on the challenge of the big league. The PR system sounded calling all the students to the auditorium.

"I guess it's time to get this whole thing going." He speaks silently under his breath, letting out another sigh, but this one was not out of irritation, this was a way for him to center himself, getting mentally prepared for the trials ahead. As he began walking to the announced location, he spotted his brother just moments before Jason looked away. Even now there was a deep tension between the brothers, but neither wanted to confront it. Too many demons to sort through. Although Dori was definitely looking forward to embarrassing his twin on the main stage as some point, he just needed to be patient.

Jason Andrews

As the students all filed into the massive auditorium Jason was shoved forward by another student. Whirling around to yell when he came up short.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Hey, you look familiar! Have I seen you somewhere? I'm Cameron btw. This is gonna be so much fun! Isn't it fun?"

"You might have, I'm Jason nice to meet you, As for this being fun, well I'm excited to be here for sure. Let's go find our seats." He said in reply to the boys rambling. Is this kid for real? he thought to himself as he moved in to go and find his seat. Once in his seat, he looked out at the stage where various faculty members all sat while the headmaster stood at the podium before him. He was a portly man short and balding but he stood there with a look of pride as he looked around the room.

"Welcome students!" The headmaster began as the last of the students filed in. "I am Cleaton Jenson, Headmaster here at Duel Academy. It is my dream to bring such brilliant young duelists such as yourselves in and make them the best duelists possible. And of course, we happen to be in luck this year!" The man said as he scanned the crowd. "We have in attendance here two of the biggest names on the amateur dueling circuit. A pair of twin brothers who will surely live up to their reputations. In fact, before we call out names and hand each of you your uniforms why don't we have ourselves a bit of an exhibition duel! Jason and Dorian Andrews please make your way to the stage!" The old man finished with a bit of a flourish.

Great, now I have to Duel against Dory, in front of hundreds if not thousands of students. he thought as he stood and made his way to the stage. Once on the stage, he looked around the room as he readied his duel disk and deck and stood waiting for his brother to arrive."

Kayn Westbridge

Making his way to a seat, as far back and as close to the corner as possible, the tall youth settled in once more fishing out one of the Quailark's he has. As the Headmaster began his speech Kayn settled in, but soon after the introduction announcements had been made, with the inclusion that this new year had two of the top duelists of the amateur dueling circuit and the year would start with the two duelists in an exhibition match.

Hmm this will be interesting...

Awaiting the start of the duel the tall youth sat up, luckily being in the back most row so he wouldn't block someone else's view of the action that would soon start. Looking around he saw that everyone else had their eyes trained on the stage like hawks watching its pray at the thought of seeing the two contenders clash.

Cameron Mason

“Ok, bye!” He waved goodbye to Jason, with a big toothy grin on his face. “See ya later!” Then he skipped along to find a seat. He seemed like a nice guy. Happily humming a tune to himself, he made his way to an open seat in the front row. Cameron was a fair bit shorter than a lot of the other kids here. If he sat too far back, he would likely end up in front of some tall person, and miss everything happening on the stage.

After the introduction announcements were made, the headmaster said that two of the top duelists from the amateur dueling circuit would be attending the Academy with them. They were apparently going to have an exhibition match right there. One of those top duelists was Jason. Cameron’s eyes lit up. “Oh neat! I knew he looked familiar!” Cameron saw him duel on TV somewhere. Cameron flailed his arms around excitedly. “Woo hoo! Let’s Go! Bring it on!” As excited as he was for the duel to start, he also couldn’t wait for it to end, so he could start dueling other kids himself. He couldn’t wait to show off his beloved Toons to everyone.

"An exhibition match, huh?" Jacky was intrigued, the two boys walking to the stage seemed like they would tough opponents. Even from her seat, she could tell that both had experience under their belts. She smiled. "Ain't heard of them myself... But this is looking to be an interesting show." she mumbled to herself. At the very least this would give her a chance to see what the competition would be using. She took her goggles off and sat back in her seat, in her head she was wishing she had some popcorn, but then again, this wasn't some movie theater. She quietly sighed and shook the thought out of her head before turning her full attention to the match.

"An exhibition match..." Michelle Kine said to herself. This was something she certainly did not want to miss. It was a chance to see what this school had to offer in terms of competition, as well as information about the Duelists' strategies. She only hoped this "Jason" and "Dorian" provided some intel worth studying.

Dorian Anderws

Dori made his way to a seat, not being particularly picky about where it was, just waiting for all this to be over so he can start dueling some of the other students, get a feel for how they played. He didn't pay the Headmaster much mind as he greeted everyone, however the call for an exhibition match caught him off guard, especially since he and his brother were going to be the talent in the duel. He let out a small chuckle, trying to hold in his excitement, but having a hard time in doing so. Well, this will be interesting. Dori thought to himself as he slowly stood up and made his way to the stage. As he stood across the stage from Jason, he locked eyes with his brother. If there was any contempt between them, Dori's face did not betray it. His eyes however, told a different story. The young duelist stared daggers at his twin so sharp that it seemed like you would get cut if you walked between them.

The excitement for the duel became too much for Dori to hide. A large smile stretched across his face as he pulled his hands from his pockets, his fingers wrapped in athletic tape from tip to base, and retrieved the deck he had stored in a box attached to his belt. Dori quickly inserted the cards into his duel disk, allowing the disk to begin it's start up process. He pointed over to his brother, laughing a bit from his giddiness, and ran his other hand trough his hair calling over to his opponent. It was as if Dori had suddenly turned into a different person, his cold, somber expression and tones slipping away.

"Try to keep up, brother. I'd hate to leave you behind."
