How does Clive get all the guns he might want to take with him through airport controls?

That's something I'm indeed not all too familiar with :(

And I'm imagining how the plane suffers a catastrophic engine failure and then comes poser Gandalf, teleporting out with the broadest grin available to mankind.

After 9/11, you gotta check your stuff and it'll be examined and WELL out of reach until you land. They might actually charged extra too.

I've never brought a gun on a plane. I've only brought a combat ready sword and that was me flying home from a convention!

I'm surprised to learn that this is actually possible. I'd have thought that weapons/ammunition in general are not eligible as passenger luggage in any way. Not only because of intentional stuff but also because it would not be the first time for potentially volatile cargo to go haywire in the hold.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge...

It's actually pretty simple to fly with guns and ammunition seeing as guns don't shoot themselves and bullets don't go off if shaken around. It's not TNT.

Each gun must be unloaded, no rounds chambered, and any detachable magazines must be removed from the gun. All guns must be stored in locked, hard-sided containers. Rifle cases need 2 locks (1 for either end of the case). Ammo is limited to 11 pounds and must be .75 caliber or smaller as well as in cases specifically designed to hold ammo. No loose ammo or in magazines or clips.

I'll try to get my frenchman post up today. Something tells me that, between fake homeless people and others carrying a bag full of firearms stuff, he might be an exquisitely boring individual.

@Fetzen I like the new avatar

I shamelessly decided to use the same avatar I've been using on another roleplaying site I'm active on.

The urge to have Val lording over her first class ticket is pretty hard to resist.

Fortunately, Eleanor had a some much needed grounded-ness before Val really went off the rails.

Well, since you ask...and I can no longer be blamed, I'll start working on something fun.

Should have some time tomorrow, but no one should feel obliged to wait or to slow the momentum.
