You can still play a female role, and you can still play Natasha if you rework her to fit better with the setting. That's why I suggested having her assassin training suppressed by hypnotic programming that she is not consciously aware of at first. That would allow her to be in the role of a rookie teen superhero along with the group and then begin recovering her full memories and recalling her assassin training gradually over time.

Alternatively, what are some other female characters you'd be interested in?

I scanned some Wiki stuff and I see that Wolverine is named an official Avenger after the "Dark Avengers" collapsed. I think it's true because Wolvie has done everything a time or two. LOL I would look him over and come up with something tomorrow if it's cool? Also there's his age and healing factor. Want to set it up like he is 18 with a healing factor not overwhelming? (I'd like to classify that)

Yeah, it would be best to make him a teenager. One alternative is to play a child of Wolverine -- maybe X-23 or an OC -- and then you can bring in the actual Wolverine later on as a left-over from Project Rebirth in the 1940s. If you went with his Japanese connections -- either a teenage Wolverine or a teenage SON or DAUGHTER or CLONE of Wolverine -- we could say Luke met him before when he was in Japan with Mr. Hajima, his mentor. Whatever way you do this, the character could have spent some of his childhood in Canada and some in Japan, and then maybe he came to New York to attend college or something and he started hanging out with Luke again.

Haha, I once drank a ton of Jagerbombs (Jagermeister and Red Bull), and couldn't fall asleep for like fourteen hours because of the intense heartburn. Nowadays the only energy drinks I usually touch are Starbucks Doubleshots or Java Monsters. Or if I just need a boost, a bottle of Diet Pepsi or a cup of coffee works too. I work graveyard shift, so I'm usually relying on caffeine a lot, lol.

So, while we're waiting for everyone to post, why don't we all tell a little about ourselves? Don't reveal anything too personal or that you feel uncomfortable with, of course -- just whatever you feel like sharing to let the rest of the group get to know you better. I'll go first:

My real name is Jeff, but most people in my RP circles call me Cap or Manny due to nicknames I use on a lot of sites, either Captain Manbeard or The Magnificent Manbeard. That was the result of a comment a friend made a few years back because of how ridiculously easy it is for me to grow an epic beard. While it's currently very short to better facilitate the wearing of masks, I'll drop a pic below of my beard when it was at it's longest. I think this was late 2018 or early 2019, I don't recall the exact date:



I live in Portland, Oregon, and while I won't say exactly where I work, it's a facility owned and operated by a local university wherein I fill an overnight clerical role as well as light security. It's pretty chill most nights, but sometimes things get crazy enough for me to involve the campus police.

I am a huge science geek, and am absolutely thrilled with anything to do with astronomy. Yes, as you've probably guessed, I do jizz in my pants whenever I watch a Neil deGrasse Tyson interview LOL. The downside to that is noticing scientific inaccuracies and plot holes in movies, which can make it harder to enjoy them at times. Back to the Future is one of my favorite film series, but the errors drive me crazy, lol.

For instance, there is what I call the Infinite Marty Paradox: The version of the character we see at the beginning of the first film is Twin Pine Marty. The one we see jumping into the DeLorean at the end of the film from the altered timeline is Lone Pine Marty. TPM remembers his father being a wimp, bullied by Biff, and heard the story about how his grandfather hit George with the car. LPM, on the other hand, remembers his father being confident and standing up to Biff, and he would have been told a different story about how his parents met, since in this timeline, George never got hit by the car. He would have been told that his namesake, Calvin "Marty" Klein was the one who got hit. This would severely change the events that happen when LPM goes back to 1955, as he is traveling back from the altered timeline instead of the original. There's also the fact that TPM was watching the 4x4 on the back of the truck when the old lady handed him the flyer that was vital in him remembering the lightning bolt when in 1955, but LPM already owns that 4x4, so he would not have had a reason to run over and stand on the bench where the lady handed him the flyer.

So, TPM goes back to 1955, makes changes to the timeline, and arrives back in an altered 1985, wherein LPM is the new alternate-future counterpart of Marty. LPM then goes back to 1955 with a different set of memories, and because of that, will likely make different decisions, thus creating a third timeline. Then when LPM returns to 1985, a third alternate-future counterpart will be the one going back to 1955 with another new set of memories, thus creating a loop of infinite Martys and infinite timelines that will continue over and over again until one of them changes history so much that the initial temporal displacement never occurs, or the universe explodes, lol. Or it might just create a cascade effect where the spacetime continuum snaps back like an overstretched rubberband, erasing all the alternate timelines, snapping back to the first night at Twin Pines Mall and the Flux Capacitor just sparks and fails, and thus time travel never occurs. The "Paradox" mentioned in the name is the fact that this aspect was never touched upon in the films and they just pretend like LPM would go back to 1955 with the memories of TPM, despite LPM having lived a different life.

Baha, Florida Men Unite! I live in Oregon, but I was born in Florida and have spent a lot of time there. My dad was stationed at the naval air base in Jacksonville when I was young, though I went to high school in the Tampa Bay area. From the late 1990s until a few years ago, I hopped back and forth between Florida and Wyoming, though I haven't been back there since 2017. I spent some time helping family in South Dakota and then moved here to Portland in early 2018, where I've lived since. I've grown to despise red states, which is part of what has kept me anchored here in Oregon.

And yeah, COVID-19 is wreaking havoc. It must suck trying to find a job in this. Luckily I haven't lost my job -- yet. The university did give us a 20% furlough though as part of a Work Share program. That means we only work 32 hours a week and claim unemployment for the other 8. The virus has ravaged the university's budget, and the entire upper management team all reduced their own salaries to help out. They gave us all an extra 80 hours of sick time and restored any vacation time we had used this year. That came in handy when I was in a 14-day quarantine back in April due to possible exposure and similar symptoms. I had some shit in my lungs and was in fits of coughing, but thanks to our incompetent federal leadership, tests were still widely unavailable at that time. Because I was not in critical condition, they couldn't spare a test for me, and I sat it out for the fourteen days. Luckily my immune system has always bordered on superhuman levels, so after about eight days the symptoms were completely gone. By the end of the fourteen days I was back at work. That was actually the longest amount of time I have ever been sick. It took about eight days for the crud to clear out of my lungs and for my breathing to return to normal, but prior to that, I'd never been sick for more than two or three days. I only get a cold or flu bug like once every several years, and almost always, I make a complete recovery within 72 hours.

Also, I completely understand not wanting to come out to your parents yet. My dad wonders why I'm turning 38 next month but I've sill never been married or had a serious relationship other than once when I was 19. I don't really have an exact label for what I am, but think of it like a triangle with "Heterosexual," "Sapiosexual," and "Asexual" on each point. I am physically attracted to feminine characteristics, watch a lot of lesbian videos, read and write smut, have a ton of female cosplayers followed on Insta and FB, and love looking at women just as much as a normal guy. But the vast majority of the time, I have no interest or desire to actually seek out intimate partners. I would be perfectly content if I never had sex again, because I am severely introverted and don't like people in my personal space. I'd rather just have a wank and then go back to video games or writing or whatever I was doing before, lol. In the rare event that I am actually interested in becoming intimate with someone, it is almost always as a result of their mind rather than their appearance. If someone doesn't portray a great deal of intelligence, creativity, kindness, and passion, then how "hot" they are is meaningless to me.

But for my introduction. My name is Kindred and not quite yet an actual king. But I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I've been roleplaying since I was about 14 and I'm turning 25 on the 21st. The only thing I'm partially caught up on is Flash -- I've seen everything up until the Crisis crossover arc. I watched the first few parts that aired in December, but haven't seen the conclusion or the second half of the Flash season.

I got bored with Arrow after a few years and was also low on free time, so I decided I was just going to stay caught up with Flash. There were so many shows coming out and I just couldn't keep up with them all, lol. There was one point where each week, I had to find time for Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends, Agents of SHIELD, Walking Dead, and whatever else I was watching at the time. This was back when I had cable, before I moved exclusively to streaming. But now I'm more backed up on shit than ever. In addition to all the superhero shows on Netflix and DC Universe, I still need to watch Star Trek: Picard, the final season of Bojack Horseman, the most recent season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the Mandalorian, and I have yet to even start Westworld, the Expanse, and whatever other shows I'm not remembering right now, lol.
