Would Masteries exist for particular martial styles? Or would that be more reflected in the sort of techniques they'd have, rather than the masteries they have.

Given the existence of fist weapons (which I had never considered) would it be acceptable to modify Milo's Brawler skill to allow the use of fist weapons (essentially Fist Weapon Mastery)?

Hmm, I like to keep it base on their weapon proficiency alone. So any techniques learned using a weapon should be under the said weapon mastery if that make sense.

Yeah, definitely go ahead.

Ahhh, time to change the skill to one-handed daggers instead of just dagger mastery yeah?

Should probably have a category for thrown weapons, unless it's just presumed that mastery in any weapon type lets you throw them well.

You mean like shurikens? I dont mind adding it. But if you want to throw just normal daggers/knives or any of the above weapons, their mastery should be able to let you do that after some levels.

Gotcha. For cheat skills that grant sub skills, at what levels are those obtained? Like, every 20 levels? Or does it vary depending on the cheat at hand?

Probably around 20 or 30-ish would be good. But really, it depends on on how fast we go into the story.

Name: Girl From Another World

Job: Undetermined
Afilliation: Unknown

@Travesty
I meant to ask earlier, but is everyone's job 'undetermined'?
Also, how do character acquire a job? It is controlled by the Goddess, or something people can work toward on their own?

If this would be a spoiler for something IC, then I'll happily wait. I was jc. ;3

Once Milo starts gaining levels and learning magic, he'll actually be a more powerful mage than Sam. Sam has the higher INT and mana, but Milo has the All Elemental Affinity so he'll be able to do basically anything, especially once his sub-skill gets unlocked.

Wouldn't be too sure about that. Milo would be more versatile, but Sam still has higher raw power. Drastically higher raw power.

Basically Sam is a powerhouse, but he probably won't learn more than 3 elements, mostly because his initial Ice Affinity makes him unsuited to Fire and Lightning.

Edit: Short Omake

Greed: "...aren't we made of wood?"

Wrath: "Screw ye, I need this af'er this week..."

There isn't any rule about that though, nor anything about the magic system to suggest that affinities exist/affect one's ability to learn other elements.

True, but from the fact it is a Goddess Blessing I would assume people are locked to magic by affinity. Of course it could be like Weapons Mastery where they can literally learn any spell without needing the specific skill.

That's what I thought it was, yeah. The ability to level up magical proficiency altogether, rather than individually per element.

This is predetermined upon entering the new world, which will be revealed later into the story when guilds are introduced. Although you can decide now which job you want your character to have, any job title in any game will do, as long as it follows the same fantasy medieval theme.

Yep, this one is more accurate. So basically, people are bound with 2 or 3 max elemental affinity. They cant go higher than that, thus, All Elemental Affinity Blessing. This should be explained further once they hit the "tutorial town".
