With nether combatant moving, you could hear the wind blow though as well as the crackling of the aura flames, Samurai smirked at Jotaro, before clenching his sword tighter. A single petal would float in the air before Samurai vanished and then came at Jotaro with Aerial ace.

While the staredown was going on, Jotaro was honing in on his Laser Focus to insure a critical hit, then once the petal fell, he too vanished and came at Samurai with Aerial Ace. To those who couldn't follow the speed, it would seem as if the two Pokemon just teleported and swapped places, facing away from eachother.

Samurai saw Jotaro eyes flash with laser focus, but that did not matter to the Samurott as he had his hidden ability of Shell Armour, which meant he could never be crited. Though just to let the Zerora think he had scored a hit, Samurai staggered like he had been hit with a critical hit, before his eyes flashed as he charged at the Jotaro with a Liquidation.

Samurai was unable to react and took the attack head on, though once the attack was done, Samurai quickly retaliated by striking Jotaro in close quarters.

Samurai could see Jotaro was now at a minor disadvantage as the Close Combat had also lower his defence which meant Samurai was going to do even more damage. Though he choose to play it safe, and moved it with Razor shell, holding his sword in it Samurai pose once more before vanishing and going in close for the attack.

Jotaro got hit with the attack, and was barely able to hang on, however he grabbed Samurai's shell and retaliated with an Endeavor, to bring it's health to the same level his own was at.

Samurai was knocked back and used his sword to help him stand before, he growled and reviled his second shell sword before kicking it to Jotaro and spoke to him which Mike translated for Chuck. "Samurai knows that him and Jotaro are now one hit away from defeat so he wants to go down as a samurai would. One last speed slice, from both. Ether one or both will fall after this" Mike told Chuck as Samurai span round his sword before he sheath his sword and then held onto the handle as he took up the dueling pose.

Much like their first stare off, only the sounds of the wind and crackling on the aura flames could be heard before once again, the wind picked up and a set of leaves were blown about sizzling as they passed though the aura flames before Samurai eyes open and he shot at Jotaro with a aqua jet into an Aerial ace.

Mike had planned ahead and knew what sort of pokemon he wanted to use but he wanted to see what Chuck was going to send out next, Mike reckoned that Chuck would have Hibiki in the back of his mind and Mike was prepared for that outcome too.

Mike thought carefully about his choice. "Kartana, a grass Steel type with high attack and speed but paper thin sp defence. So I would need to go for a physical wall who could take the hits to await a chance to attack" Mike thought before nodding.

"Smoker, let's get fired up" Mike said as he sent out Smoker, his Torkal. A blazing sun came though in the arena as Torkal had the drought ability, he was holding a heat rock to keep the drought longer.
