Holly Pritchard


Bio:
Holly and Recluse(a mech AI, originally designated CV-322) were paired together in military service with Orion’s Two Hundred and Fifth Mechanized Cavalry. She served during a bloody, planet-wide civil war that, last she heard, has not ended to this day. Holly was a young hotshot at the time, and ruined her military career in a moment of cockiness. Her squad was taking control of a lightly armed farm that was in enemy hands, Holly decided she could manage the fight on foot, with CV-322 standing by behind. A surprise improvised grenade was thrown(or launched, it was never clear) from the nearby barn, igniting in mid air a few feet to her right. CV-322 rushed in to scoop its incapacitated pilot into the cockpit, and in an uncharacteristic display of nearly human anger, leveled the barn.
Holly’s helmet and armor saved her life, but she lost an arm, an eye, and has had a long road to recover from brain damage. She was set to be decommissioned, and her mech AI lreassigned. She stole it(and for its part, CV-322 didn’t make much effort to avoid being stolen), and took a smuggler’s ship from the planet. She’d already lost her arm, half her eyesight and her job, she couldn’t stand to lose her partner too.
Holly and Recluse(as her mech AI has come to be known) have been doing mercenary work on out of the way worlds ever since.

NAME: Jericho Irons
CALLSIGN: JAEGER

APPEARANCE:
Standing in at 6'2", Jericho sports a build of one used to rigorous physical exertion. He has a serious and imposing demeanor, with a rigid posture and broad shoulders. Jericho has rough facial features, age lines strongly imprinted on his face and lack of youthful enthusiasm implies this man has either seen some shit or isn't wanting to put up with yours. His face is curtained off by a short but thick brown beard, his hair is cut close and kept out of the way. The majority of the left half of his body has been replaced by cybernetics- arm, eye and leg most notably. Despite his size and weight, Jericho has a surprisingly soft step and is more subtle than one might expect.

BIO:
Jericho Irons was born on a distant frontier world of Krait- a hot desert planet with a surprisingly active ecosystem in cave systems just below the surface. The presence of its oversized fauna made mechs a necessity out on the frontier, and so Jericho had been introduced to mechs at a fairly young age. Life was rough out on the frontier, and what few settlements there were on and underneath the surface of Krait often squabbled and competed for what limited resources they had.

Jericho joined a pirate gang at a young age, the better alternative to starving on this dustball of a planet. Jericho spent most of his early career in and around the few mechs of the Dust Devils, either firing a heavy rifle from atop the shoulders of one of their mechs, or piloting one himself. Here he found his calling- a surprisingly adept pilot, and a deadly shot.

No good thing lasts forever though, after a job-gone-wrong, Jericho was abandoned and left for dead by his former crew as they skipped planet, left to fend for himself as the authorities closed in on him. Miraculously surviving the encounter, Jericho managed to limp his mech to a small backwater town. After 'acquiring' a small shuttle, Jericho loaded his mech onto it and set off into the stars. Down and out- Jericho needs capital, and he needs supplies. With a skill set good for little else, he turned to mercenary work.

Jericho's Desert Fox is a custom unit based on the GMS-SPI variant used on the desert planet of Krait. It is an older model than some of the newer Everest variants deployed on the field today, but is still serviceable and reliable.

BIO:
From birth Gaby was born to be a lowly priest on his matriarchal planet of Kuur. His parents had both been involved in the "Mars' Children Collective" and as such he was expected to follow in their footsteps. Gaby was not good at any of his duties. He struggled to memorize his scriptures and rites, got into fights with he peers constantly and got on others nerves. Despite all this, Gaby wasn't kicked out due to an unrevealed to him 'prophecy' through the MCC's seers, the boy's genetic were altered along with his standard issue priest cybernetics in order to be the host and teacher to the religion's new god. Rightfully so, when this fact was revealed to Gaby he got mad. He didn't want this responsibility or to be so intrinsic to a world he didn't really care for. Despite his reluctance the process and ceremony took place anyway, depositing the fledgling of their god within his cybernetics. Gaby was mad when he woke up in his new home/prison. He was instructed to continue to review his rites and scriptures but by this point he was done.

After months of being forced to keep a learning and growing NHP in his head, Gaby finally managed to escape by overpowering his guards. The Priest went on the run, managing to climb aboard a ship going off world and stealing a mech along with an LL0 license. Immediately after getting away, Gaby managed to get the NHP out of his mind and into the Mech. After deciding to call the NHP "Jackass" due to him blaming the NHP for everything the went wrong, Gaby began to actually bond with the fledgling sentience that evidentially shared most of his view due to being essentially raised in his head.

BIO: Truus Kepler is first and fore most a super solider. Designed from birth and cloned from what the scientists called a wonderful specimen. His genes, DNA, upbringing, and training where all tailored to him being a soldier and a capable leader if he had to be. He was part of the K generation of this specific soldier, hence why his last name starts with a K. the company that made him was only a few jumps away from Cradle and had created them to serve the purpose of running interference and harass other mega corporations as well as fight rebels and in civil wars.

Truus himself never really cared about his purpose in life he simply just did what he was told and he enjoyed it. Fighting, rage, destruction, it all brought a feeling to him he just couldn’t get enough of. The one feeling he always craved, the one rush he could never duplicate was getting into his Mech and doing what he did best, fighting. He never really had the aptitude for the tech stuff and he enjoyed shooting guns more than swinging a sword. An old quote always came to mind whenever anyone would ask him why. “Bitches love cannons.”

Although most of the time he would be somewhat quiet, stoic, and analytical. He would always be the first to laugh in a tough situation, the closer to death he was the happier and crazier he became. That was likely one of the reasons it was hard for him to get chosen for jobs. Still, the large man made his way up through the ranks till he found himself achieving the rank of lancer.

From their he was picked up by a mercenary crew, one that his employer suggested, to run interference against a mining company. His parent company did occasionally have a soft spot for the little guy.
