Ed Penior

Location: Space
Skills: Sympathetic: Healing

Ed was confused. Weren't they suppose to be trying to talk their way out of this? Why had Pietro snapped like that? He could feel the gas starting to make him pass out and didn't know what he could hope to accomplish. Among the group, almost all had done something to incriminate themselves. Forget being in an area that was forbidden for some reason. Now they had attacking and killing space cops on whatever rap sheet space had.

"Listen we were just trying to find someone. Our friend died right before you guys boarded. Everyone is freaked out right now. Please, this is all a misunderstanding." Why had they attacked Nova Corps? What had they been thinking. Ed couldn't allow himself to pass out. He touched his chest and sent healing magic into his lungs hoping it would keep him from falling asleep. If they fell asleep that'd be the end. They'd end up in jail and there would be no way out of it, because they were guilty of attacking the damn space cops.

It was working. He could feel the fog of sleepiness start to lift. He sighed relieved and realized his mistake. He couldn't hold his breath. The air was saturated. Darkness started to form in his vision and he knelt down. "Don't hurt them." His voice quiet.

Now you are probably wondering why I'm here... Well why not? You all are knocked out cold anyway by the Nova Corps who clearly need to smoke something or whatever given how they are acting. Who knew that the people labeled as the good guys could cause so many problems right? Anyway, you all went nighty night and got dragged away by the space cops. Without a real fight or anything like that!

Now, where are you all now? Well that is the easy thing, here's a pretty picture to show you where exactly you wound up.

Yup, maximum security prison, that's where the lot of you are. It's called the Kyln. And to think none of you except for one (cough cough Maximoff) even have a criminal record! Doesn't seem to matter for these guys though, as most of you are sort of are scattered amongst the general population. Good news! Most of you are all near each other! Bad news, a few of you got separated because you got deemed more of threats, so you are a little ways away from the others, but not too far. Except for the speedster. Cause you know, he got shot up a bit and had to throw the barbecue out of the ship so she didn't kill everyone else. Plus he also killed several of the space cops, and as everyone knows, that sort of thing never goes over well with the people arresting you.

So pairings! Who gets to be bunk mates with one another! Well let's see, plant girl is off with Stark Jr, the goth chicks are together, and the makeshift wizard is with the laser light show. Oh, and the girl with illusions or whatever weird stuff that she does... Yeah she's not with anyone that she recognizes, instead, she's in the same cell as a chick whose just sitting off in to the side of the cell clearly bored. The speedster isn't near anyone, so who knows where he ended up?

Anyway, enjoy your stay here! Lucky for you this isn't a prison on Earth, cause otherwise you'd all have power collars or dampeners or whatever around your neck. But nope you don't! You can use your powers to your hearts content! Just kind of useless without a ship, cause you are all stranded on this rock. Not that I'm implying that you should escape or anything.

Bye for now!

Guin Stark

Location: The Kyln
Skills: Telepathy

Guin had been having a horrible nightmare.

They had been in space on the Millennium Falcon, when suddenly an anomaly had appeared out of nowhere. Iris had set herself on fire, and Pietro solved the situation by jettisoning her. A group of glorified trigger happy space cops had boarded their vessel. Pietro had murdered some. And then, it all had gone dark - but that meant that the nightmare was over. She would open her eyes and she'd be in bed snuggled up to her husband, and he'd calm her down, and they'd chalk the nightmare up to watching Alien at 3 AM.

Guin opened her eyes, and she screamed at the top of her lungs. It hadn't been a nightmare. She was in a prison cell. Her mind unconsciously reached out to inflict that same pain and fear on others - luckily, her telepathic reach wasn't strong enough at the moment for anything to happen. Her heart was pounding so fast she could hardly breathe. She got up from where she had been lying and pounded on the door, finding that it was sealed shut. The air felt like it was incredibly thin in the cell. Her world was spinning. She needed to run, she needed to get out of there, she was just a little NPC trapped on a station with Darth Vader, she needed to get out!

Pietro come get me right now I don't care what you have to do I need you to get me out of here!!!!!! Guin screamed telepathically, just as she was still screaming in reality.

Oww Guina my head...

Guin was kicking at the door now as hard as she could. "LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!" she screamed. Her toes were throbbing but she didn't care. She felt like a caged animal. Pietro I need you to come get me right now I'm losing my shit and I'll let you be as overprotective as you want and everything just GET ME OUT!!!!!!

I hurt Guina, I can't exactly come to where you are at the moment...

I need you right now, I'll even wear a Star Trek slutty costume, I just need you to come and get me right now! Guin was still trying to force the door down, not even aware of the fact that Mary was probably seriously judging her at the moment, but prison was one of her greatest fears and she wasn't handling it well. Please come save me!!! "Let me out right now or... or I'll make your brains explode!!!" Guin shouted.

Guina, calm down... Please my head was already hurting from everything else

I c-c-can't! Guin replied, hyperventilating and unable to catch her breath. She had stopped screaming at least, but even that wasn't too much progress.

It's okay Guina... Just please don't scream into my head... It's like someone put my head in a bucket and started hitting it repeatedly... That's how bad that's kind of making my head hurt...

No, it's not okay! We're going to die in here. They're going to rape us and shank us and then they'll cut out our tongues and put them in the food and then we'll be shoved into a giant trash compactor and they'll laugh and dissect us and remove our brains and and and - we need to get out now!

...That is nothing like how prison typically works.

It's space prison, it's probably way worse! In Earth prisons they put collars on mutants to make you into slaves and then they kill you if you breathe funny! Guin had slid down to the ground now, hugging her knees to her chest. I can't do this. I need you to come do it for me. You can be in charge I don't wanna be.

That's also not really how prisons on Earth work either, and I got locked up in the freaking Raft and other prisons over the course of my life... And I can't right now... I'm kind of stuck where I am at the moment...

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: The Kyln
Skills: N/A

Runa had never been in prison before - although a fair amount of people on Asgard had lobbied for her to be placed in one when her powers and dominion revealed themselves. When she had awoken, she took a seat on the floor with her legs crossed as if meditating. There was not much that could be done besides waiting for her cellmate, Bethany, to come to consciousness. She hadn't used her voice earlier and now it seemed she would need to. She could use her abilities to warp reality and ideally solve this entire mess without any further bloodshed, although she was not intending on bringing Quicksilver back with them - he had blood on his hands.

She hadn't noticed any technology inhibiting the use of powers for herself or for her companion. She would have expected better from the Nova Corps. Her brother's prison on Asgard accounted for such things. There were enchantments ensuring that magic and whatnot could not be used to escape. Sure, illusions could be cast but actually leaving the cell? That was out of the question. She did stretch her arm out, calling Gandr to her - and she waited. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long.

Bethany slowly opened her eyes letting out a slight groan as she sat up and looked around, seeing that she was in a cell she had been in one before when OMEN had taken her and Lance prisoner when they were still around. Beth cracked her neck slightly she then reached around her neck she was surprised that they didnt have an inhibitor collar of some kind on her at all. "Are you alright Runa?" Beth asked turning to look at her for a moment as she slowly stood up and looked around the cell for a few seconds.

"Well I guess the good thing is that we can use our powers, for space cops they are kind of dumb to allow prisoners to use them." Beth said as she started to think about the others and she hoped that they were alright, she thought about shadow traveling herself and Runa out of their cell. "So any idea where we are?" She asked Runa.

Antoinette McCarthy

When Antoinette finally came to, her head was pounding and her eyes blurry. Antoinette slowly shifted so that she was sitting up. She rubbed her eyes, blinking and looked around the room she seemed to be in and tried to recall the events.
Antoinette remembered their ship being attacked, Pieto reacting violently and then her part in getting a couple of the guards to turn on themselves. Antoinette had never done a thing like that before and it was shocking to her that she had done so but she was just trying to protect everyone. Then there was Iris. Her friend was gone and Carolina wasn’t here either. Antoinette started to tear up when she spotted a woman with green skin and purple and pink hair.
”Oh, hello. I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there,” she said and smiled politely. ”My name is Antoinette.” Antoinette shifted her attention to the wall that looked like a door with some windows. She looked at it puzzled and then around the room. Were they in some sort of prison?

Ed Penior

Location: Space Jail
Skills:

Ed was tired. It was like his whole body rejected the idea of waking up. But after a moment he opened his eyes and sat up taking in his surroundings. He had never been to jail before. It wasn't what he expected if he was honest. Well not for space jail anyway. He opened his hand and tested if he had magic still. A bit of orange swirled around his hand. That was relieving. If this had been an Eaarth jail inhibitors would have been put on them keeping him from accessing his magic. Something he hated.

He looked over and saw Lance was his cellmate. "You okay?" He asked. He didn't know if he had gotten hit. He thought about the others and his eyes went wide. He checked his pockets real quick. Hoping that he had the vials with everyone's hair. He kept them on him in a protective case so they wouldn't break and the hair get lost. He could use the hairs to make locate everyone else. He let out a sigh of relief finding them. Apparently, whoever had searched them and put them in jail didn't care about a case of vials of hair. That at least gave him hope for keeping the team alive.

The doors to everyone's cells then would pop open as a voice over the intercom system would start booming, "NOW YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR CELLS YOUR WAY TO THE MAIN CENTRAL AREA OR STAY WHERE YOU ARE." the voice boomed out. Seemed like it was a recreational time or something like that now, which meant they were sort of free to wander. Maybe the others could potentially find each other?

Annie's Cell
The woman rolled her eyes slightly at Annie, "I didn't ask for your name, but I'm Gamora," she said rather bluntly, when the cell doors popped open allowing them to leave if they chose to. "Tip kid, you don't look like you belong here, so I'd recommend finding a way out quick, not sure how you got here, but I need to go find a few friends of mine," she continued, before she headed out of the cell and down the hallway.

Mary wasn't too sure what to think about what was seemingly going on, aside from the fact that they were clearly in prison. Her roommate was Guin, who as soon as she woke up and saw where they were started screaming. That was not necessarily a good thing that was for sure. And given the fact that they had no idea what part of space they were in, or where everyone else was, this was not a good thing to have happen to them at all. She wasn't sure where they were, or what to really think with regards to Guin screaming, the main thing that she needed to think about with regards to that though was getting her to stop it.

"Guin, calm down okay? We're fine, we're not hurt or injured or whatever, we are fine. Just take some deep breaths and try and remain calm okay." Her head was pounding, and at the moment there was the little voice in the back of her that was screaming at her too. With two voices more or less yelling at her, that was making things a living hell for her. Thankfully though, Guin stopped screaming, and she wasn't sure if that was because she was talking to Pietro or what happened, but she was really grateful that she stopped. It just meant now she only had to deal with one voice screaming at her.

Thank god she shut up, otherwise I was going to suggest we poison her and kill her. Cause that would make our lives a hell of a lot easier.

Shut the hell up.

"Are you okay now Guin? Just take a few more deep breaths and relax..." she said calmly, still ignoring the yelling in her brain. The doors to the cell suddenly opened up, and she heard the voice over the intercom system or whatever it was telling them to head out into the central area. "Do you need another few minutes Guin or do you want to stay in here for a little while longer..." she asked her friend softly.

Lance's head was pounding from the smoke that had knocked them all out, but he jolted upright somewhat and glanced around seeing where they were. "Well this is an interesting place to be stuck in..." he muttered as he glanced around the cell, before seeing that Ed was there, and had asked him a question. "I'm alright, just headache from whatever they used to knock us out," he said in response with a slight shrug before he stood up from where he was, and seemed to be more or less somewhat examining the cell that they were in to see what they might be able to do to get out, when the voice boomed overhead and the door popped open.

"Well no use sticking around here I guess," he said, before causing a ball of light to appear briefly in his hands, making sure that there wasn't anything blocking their powers at all, before the light disappeared. "Since our powers seem to work, think you might be able to track where the others are maybe? Since otherwise who knows how many other people are in this place, could take a while to track everyone down... We also don't know how big this place really is either..."

Bethany Bell

The Kyln
Skills: Clairvoyance

Bethany looked around the room as she heard a booming voice over the intercom and their cell door slowly opening, she turned to look at Runa for a moment. It was their chance to hopefully find the others, she took a moment and closed her eyes as she focused on using her clairvoyance ability to search for the others. She managed to pick them all up, but she wasnt able to find an exact location on where they all were letting out a slight sigh before turning to face Runa.

"So good news is that everyone is here, but bad news is that I am not sure where they all are but they are close by." Beth said as she cautiously made her way out of the cell. They werent going to get to far if they simply just stood there in their cell they needed to go and search for them. "Lets go and search for them." Beth said, she had her powers thankfully the guards were dumb enough to let them have their abilities still she then left the safety of their cell following the other prisoners who chose to go out to the recreational area.

Guin Stark

Location: The Kyln
Skills: Telepathy, Electronics and Computers

Guin flinched, hearing a booming voice come in over a loudspeaker. They were allowed to leave their cells now. Her body was fighting against two impulses - to run like crazy and find the exit, or to stay hidden in this tiny cell where other prisoners weren't likely to be. She kept going back and forth between the two ideas, before finally, Guin was able to convince herself that their situation couldn't get better if she stayed hidden away. Her fear was strong, but it wasn't manic at the moment - a definite improvement. "I'm great, I'm so fucking great, I'm fantastic, I'm... I'm great," Guin said, nodding a lot. An idea then popped into her head, one that she wasn't going to share with Pietro as she knew that he'd instantly hate it. "I'm going to go see if I can find a guard, switch with them, and get us all out of here. Okay? Okay. Okay? Okay."

Her hands were shaking as she walked out of the cell, only to find (drumroll please....) absolutely no one! She didn't even see any tough looking prisoners that she could body switch with. The one time her power set could have actually been helpful and there was no way to apply it. She looked around frantically, her breath catching in her throat slightly until her eyes latched onto an electronic panel next to her cell. She instantly rushed up to it and started working on slicing into the system. It took her two tries, a personal low, but she managed to do so, only to find (drumroll again, please...) absolutely nothing helpful! The panel just controlled the door!

She laughed nervously, realizing that even Pietro wasn't talking to her at the moment. "Did the game developers forget about this quest or am I just losing my mind?" she said, looking at Mary. "There's no one out there, and there's no one in here," she said, pointing at her head. "Like are you even fully rendered? If I ask you a question you should know, like, when your birthday is, will you glitch out? Or if I recite the Konami Code, do we automatically advance to the next level and get out of this fucking piece of shit murder hole?"

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: The Kyln
Skills: N/A

"Yes, I am fine," Runa replied softly, glad to see that Bethany was awake. Although she hadn't been fond of her at first, the two of them were now friends - and more importantly, Bethany being awake meant that Runa could receive some assistance in using her powers to get them out of this situation. It was the main limitation of her ability, she couldn't just speak things into existence - she needed someone to reject her words in order for them to work. "Unfortunately, Gandr is not responding to my calls... which means that I cannot use my power to rewrite reality to aid us," she explained to Bethany with a sigh.

She would have expected for Gandr to come, but perhaps the Nova Corps had managed to strap down or secure the weapon. It wasn't entirely impossible. Even Thor's hammer had a bit of a delay time sometimes when it came to weapon summoning. At the very least, she was able to aid Bethany in some information, although she paused slightly as an announcement seemingly came from up above, reminding her of how her grandmother would use magic from time to time to throw her voice. "I believe we're being held in the Kyln, essentially the most secure prison run by the Nova Corps - from what I recall, it's massive, perhaps not too much smaller than Midgard's moon." She then nodded at Bethany's decision to search and joined her cellmate in leaving to go look for the others.

Antoinette jumped a little when the doors popped open and a voice came over the intercom saying they could leave the cell or stay. Antoinette certainly wasn’t going to stay. She needed to find her friends. Antoinette watched the woman in her cell stand to leave. She had a rather interesting name and a word of warning. Antoinette knew she didn’t belong there and she was definitely going to try and get free.
After Gamora left, Antoinette stepped outside of the cell door and looked around to see hundreds of other cells. She sighed, trying to think how she could find everyone. She could always stay put but that seemed more dangerous than moving to her. So, Antoinette turned right and started walking, looking for any familiar face.

Ed Penior

Location: Space Jail
Skills: Sympathetic Magic: Tracking

The doors opened and a voice gave them permission to move around the Jail. That gave Ed a bit of breathing room, now it made doing the tracking spell worthwhile. Though it still had the flaw of pointing directly to his target rather than giving him a path to them. But it would at least give them something to work with.

Ed was thankful that he still had his vials with everyone's hair in them. He pulled out the one for Mary. For the most part, he could have gotten away without labeling them, but it was smarter to do so. Mary's was easy enough to distinguish though. He removed the strand of hair and was glad this spell didn't use up the hair, he could reuse it later. He attached it carefully with practiced movements to his compass needle and quickly said the familiar incantation. The needle pointed to the right immediately.

"Mary is that way." He said pointing for Lance's sake in the direction Mary was. "I think she's on our level, and fairly close." Ed switched the hair out for Annie's. He worried about her. They had a friendship and she would be easy pickings for someone who wanted to show off. He repeated the incantation for her hair and pointed to the left, and up this time.

"Annie's that way, I think a bit farther away, up a level, and moving cause the needle isn't staying put." He paused and chewed his lip. Was Pietro alive? Had the guards taken him out. He repeated the process for Pietro's hair and the needle moved settling on a point that seemed far away and up a level, maybe more.

"Pietro is alive. Let's get Mary and Annie, we might find some of the others with them if we weren't the only ones grouped." Ed slid off his bed and started down the right toward where Mary's needle had pointed.

Annie
Annie would somewhat be alone, though as she walked along, she'd be able to see that she ended up heading in the same direction as Gamora, since she'd be able to see the woman not too far ahead of her, and she'd be able to see her take a left through a doorway. When Annie reached the doorway, she'd see a much larger central area and she'd see that she was a few floors up from the ground level.

Bethany and Runa
At the moment they aren't really running into anyone of note, they will walk by a few other prisoners who'd shoot a few glares at the pair as they walked. Much like Annie, they'd be able to see the much larger central room (look above for picture), however since it was so large they weren't exactly able to spot Annie or anyone else that they recognized in the area.

Yup, Guin had completely lost her mind or something like that with the way that she was rambling. "Guin, rambling isn't going to help us, okay? So can you please just, calm down okay? I get that you are panicking, but we need to keep our heads and wits about us to find the others and see about getting out of here, okay?" she said, giving her friend a slight smile. Of course, she was sort of lying a little bit, the main reason she was wanting to hopefully calm her friend down was because the voice in her head was trying to take over and try to murder Guin instead in order to shut her up.

Mary stepped out into the hallway area, and glanced around, "Alright, come on, let's get moving and we'll see about finding the others okay?" she added to her friend as she started to walk along the corridor to the left, and having grabbed Guin's arm and started almost dragging her along as she went. After a few minutes of walking, the pair ended up walking almost straight into what looked like a tree and a raccoon? "Oh uh, sorry," Mary somewhat apologized, a bit confused as to what was with the tree and raccoon.

"I am Groot," the tree said, looking at the two of them. The raccoon seemed to not even be paying attention to the pair.

"Oh uh, nice to meet you."

"I am Groot," Groot said again. Mary was finding something a bit funny here, since despite what it sounded like, she was actually finding that she understood everything that Groot was saying perfectly fine, and not just him saying his own name over and over again.

She glanced slightly over at the raccoon who, much like Guin had been not too long ago, messing with a door panel of some sort, "So you're Rocket then." Hearing her address him, the raccoon turned and looked at her.

"You speak tree?"

"Apparently. What the hell are you even doing?"

"What's it to you?"

"I am Groot."

"Loudmouth, you don't just tell people what we're doing! You are the worst person ever at keeping watch for the guards!"

Mary glanced over at Guin before whispering to her, "Apparently the raccoon is working on something much like you had been with the door panels seeing if there is a way to mess with the security system and get out of this prison."

"You found a few of the others, cool," Lance said to him, nodding his head slightly. Good, they had a starting place at least with everything. Finding everyone wasn't going to be easy. Everyone could be just about anywhere on this station, at least he thought it was likely a station or something like that. He doubted they would have been hauled to a planet based on what he had gathered in their short encounter with the Nova Corps and what Runa had said about them. Which reminded him that he currently had no idea where she was.

He followed along after Ed when he started heading out of the cell towards the direction that Mary was supposedly in. "This place seems huge, wonder where everyone else is," he couldn't help but comment. The pair of them would walk past a few other prisoners as they went, and a few doors that were on the left hand side of the hallway. Eventually though the pair would see Mary and Guin in the hallway, by a tree and a raccoon. "What the hell is going on over there," he couldn't help but ask.

Bethany turned to listen to Runa as she told her a little bit about what she had known about this place, and it was probably the same size as the moon back home. "So this is the size of a moon thats going to take a really long time to search for the others. And lets hope that they haven't separated us to far from each other." Bethany said, luckily she was clairvoyant as she closed her eyes for a moment trying to get a better feel for where everyone was. She was able to pick up an approximate position where Annie was at least as Beth looked at Runa. "I think I found Annie she is a level or two below us I think." Beth said as she started to look for a way down.

Bethany paused for a moment and glared at some of the other inmates who were staring at the two of them, Runa couldnt really use her reality powers right now without her staff from what she said. "Lets just hope that the guards aren't smart enough to bolt it down then, doesnt seem to be a maximum secruity prison if they let us use our powers."

Guin Stark

Location: The Kyln
Skills: Telepathy, Electronics and Computers

Guin nodded slightly at Mary, taking a few quick and somewhat loud breaths as she tried to steady her nerves some more. She was feeling a little bit better and less hopeless, mostly since nothing terrible had happened to her so far. And if she didn't think about how Pietro had been shot and could instead focus on feeling denial, then the edge from that was off too. Everything was going to be fine - just fine. "I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me," Guin whispered, trying to pep herself up a bit as she followed after Mary - not that she had much of a choice, as Mary was dragging her by the arm. "I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me."

They then ran into a pair straight out of Narnia - a walking tree who kept on insisting its name was Groot, and a talking raccoon. Guin tilted her head slightly, studying what the raccoon was up to, probing the raccoon's thoughts telepathically to assist. She didn't usually invade other people's thoughts, but with her nerves and anxiety, she didn't care much about personal space at the moment. "Fucking A, an actual security panel," Guin said with a sigh of relief. She wasn't even shocked to find out that Mary could speak tree apparently. She was about to shove the raccoon aside to tackle the panel herself, when she got an idea. She looked into the raccoon's mind and saw that it was an expert at Nova Corps tech.

It was probably wrong on some level, it felt a little bit like cheating, but desperate times called for desperate measures. It wasn't really cheating, right? She could have taken the time to figure this stuff out, but she had a special gift, and it was wasteful if she didn't use it - and it wasn't like taking a copy of the raccoon's alien tech knowledge would hurt the raccoon or anything... She concentrated and started copying the information over into her own head, like transferring over a file, and she managed to get about half.

"Well, tell the raccoon that we're breaking out with him, and if he doesn't like it, my husband will rip his heart out," Guin told Mary. Her heart was still pounding furiously, and as she turned and saw Ed and Lance approach them, she couldn't help but feel happy but annoyed. She would have rather seen Pietro coming towards them.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: The Kyln
Skills: N/A

Runa was not unaccustomed to being glared at by relative strangers - it was a common experience for her on Asgard, especially if she left her father's hall. Even in her grandfather's palace, the servants would look at her with distrust and disdain, certain that she was simply another Loki waiting to happen. No one could have such dark and evil domains without being similarly corrupt at heart, after all. The large central area was both underwhelming and overwhelming - her brother's prisons were much more aesthetically appealing, this place was cold and messy and unforgiving. She didn't care for it in the slightest.

"Do you have any inclination as to where Lance may be?" Runa asked. She was glad to know that Annie was nearby, but she wasn't terribly close to her. Runa didn't mean to seem heartless, but she had her priorities. She had one of her closest friends, Bethany, accounted for - and now she needed to have Lance similarly sorted. "I imagine they simply do not realize they need to restrain us to account for our powers - for which we should be fortunate."

As Antoinette continued on, she spotted the woman she had shared a cell with mere moments ago. The pink hair and green skin tone were hard to miss, even though there were all sorts of people here. Antoinette found it quite interesting. On Earth, there wasn’t this much alien diversity. Antoinette tried to catch up with Gamora again, thinking they could look for their friends together. In her efforts, she walked through the same doorway and looked down on a large space that looked like a common area of some kind. Antoinette scanned the area, looking for anyone that resembled her team but she didn’t see anyone familiar.
Antoinette turned and caught up to Gamora before losing her again.
”Hey, maybe we should look for our friends together? This place is really rather large,” Antoinette noted and she didn’t know where to start. Antoinette supposed she could stay in place and wait but she had a feeling it would be better to keep moving.

Ed Penior

Location: Space Jail
Skills:

It was a relief to see Mary and Guin. He knew the others were at least in the same area. He'd have to recast the tracking spell to find them again if they didn't find them by chance. There were enough people...and uh...talking trees and raccoons that it might not be easy.

"I found some of the others. Pietro is up several levels. I can't tell how far, but he's alright. Annie is close." He told them as he came into hearing range of them. He wanted Guin to know that Pietro was safe in case she hadn't already gotten into contact with him. Damn telepaths. He tried to keep the irritation of that out of his face.

He did side glance at the tree and raccoon. Confused as to how either was in jail. Who puts a raccoon in jail? Or a tree for that matter?

Annie
Gamora rolled her eyes slightly, before whirling around to look at her. "Not sure where your friends are, this place is so big, finding them might not be that easy. Most of the guys I hang around with stick out in a crowd. Let me know if you see a giant tree walking around and a guy named Rocket whose usually hanging around him. Oh, or an idiot with tattoos who takes everything literally."

Bethany and Runa
Unfortunately, their somewhat easy time that they have been having up until this point was about to come to an end. How so? Bethany ended up bumping into a rather large inmate who instantly looked at the two of them. "Watch where you are going," he said, just more or less staring at the two of them. The guy clearly seemed a bit weird, but at least he hadn't punched them or anything! Yet at least...

Hallway
"You know I can hear you, and I am not a raccoon!" Rocket snapped at Guin, clearly more then a bit annoyed with her. He glanced over and looked at Ed and Lance now, "Oh great, a few more amateurs, just great."

"I am Groot."

"Guin calm down a little bit, and being nice to people might be a better way to go about doing things then just yelling at people to get them to do what you want!"

"What exactly is going on here?"

"I am Groot," Groot responded kindly.

"Uh, nice to meet you?"

"Believe it or not he actually is saying more then just his name over and over again."

"Well most of the time trees can't talk..."

"Well usually we don't hang around in space prisons," she pointed out, before she listened to what it was that Ed was saying with regards to a few of their other members. "Well we haven't seen Annie, and figured that Pietro was okay for the most part considering the fact that he probably helped calm down Guin when she freaked out over being here."

Rocket instantly started laughing, "You're tell me. That she," he said, pointing at Guin, "Is that loud mouth who had decided to start screaming for what seemed like no reason? And she thought she could threaten me?"

"She probably could hurt you pretty badly."

"Yeah right, one of the many reasons why I hang around with Groot. I'm the brains, he's the brawn."

"I am Groot," came the tree's response, almost sounding a bit stern.

"Yeah yeah yeah, don't pick fights unless you have to, then why the hell do we hang around with Drax if you don't want fights? Or hang around Quill if we don't want to lose fights?"

"I am still so confused..."

"These two are Rocket and Groot if that much wasn't really obvious. They were messing with a panel here in the hallway, and Guin just now, decided that apparently Rocket is going to hang around with us, which also probably means that Groot would tag along too. Not sure how I feel about Rocket, but Groot is alright."

"And remember Rocket can hear you!" the raccoon snapped before shutting the panel somewhat. "Alright Groot, main chamber, now. Maybe we can find the other losers there."

"I am Groot."

"What do you mean you want them to come along?"

"I am Groot."

"What? Your friends? You've known them for maybe 10 minutes!"

"I am Groot."

"Nuh uh, nope they are not coming!"

"I am Groot."

"Ugh, fine alright already!" he turned to look at the others there, "Apparently Groot seems to think that you all should tag along, so fun we're going to break out of here. We've got to find our actual friends," he said with a bit of a look at Groot, "Before we can leave, find them to and they can help with the escape."

"That works for us... I mean we've got a few of our own friends to find the before we can even really think about getting out of here... Which reminds me, does anyone actually know how the hell we are supposed to get out of here? I mean we don't even know where we are, not sure if you two know..."

"You haven't been to the Kyln? What rock have you been living under and have not heard of it!"

"I am Groot!"

"Yeah, they do seem to be Terran, which I guess explains that. Maybe. Don't worry about a plan, I've already got one, just need to find people and we can spring into action."

"What can you tell us about the prison?"

"The Kyln, maximum security prison, almost impossible to escape, reason why they don't really restrain prisoners, cause they tend to like to kill each other while we all sit around clearly bored and twiddling our thumbs. Almost impossible for reason, security is tight, and there have only been one group who has ever escaped it. Due to a master plan by the smartest person at this end of the galaxy if I do say so myself."

"I am Groot!" Clearly Groot was disagreeing with something that Rocket had said. And whatever it was that Groot had said caused Mary to giggle somewhat, with Rocket shooting a bit of a glare at her.

"I am not exaggerating!"

"I am Groot."

"Am not!"

"I am Groot."

"Am not!"

"I am Groot."

"Well clearly he doesn't agree with you..."

"Do you two argue like this often? It is giving me a headache more then the screaming..." Mary muttered.

"I am Groot." Groot said towards her a bit apologetically.

"Nah it's fine... Anyway we should see about finding our own respective friends, and what, meet up in the main central area of the prison? That work for everyone?"

"Works for me, and the more people to help with a distraction for the plan is good, though too many people is bad since obviously someone is gonna get caught."

"Ed, can you track our friends? We need to start tracking people down. I know you said that Annie is close by and Pietro is somewhat far away from where we are, but what about Bethany and Runa?"

"What, you're saying that he can track people?" Rocket interjected, pointing at Ed. "Good luck with that, come on Groot, let's go find the idiots. You lot might want to check the main chamber, has access to lots of different parts of the prison, follow us if you want to go there, if not, be there by the time we find our friends, otherwise the plan I've got is going into motion anyway," Rocket said before heading away from them after shutting up the panel, with Groot not far behind.

"Well that was a strange interaction..."

"...Probably was made less strange for me since I understood the entire conversation. Anyway, Ed, see if you might be able to track the others... We should at least see about finding the main area like Rocket suggested, so I'm heading down that way..." Mary said, heading off in the direction that Groot and Rocket had gone.

Meanwhile, Guin would hear Pietro's voice in her head, Hey Guina, going to see about heading your way, might take me a little bit since this place seems like a maze... Are you okay in the meantime?

Bethany Bell

The Kyln
Skills: Clairvoyance

Bethany closed her eyes again after Runa asked for her to look for Lance, she hadnt used this power this much before really as she tried to track down where Lance was before sighing. "All I know right now is that he isnt on the floor we are right now." Bethany said as she continued to walk forward and attempted to try and find Lance again, but she wasnt able to this time. She decided to try it at least one last time, only to get the same result as Beth turned to face Runa again and shook her head slightly.

"Sorry for not being much help really." Bethany said to Runa as she walked and spoke to her friend, Beth wasnt paying much attention as she bumped into a rather muscular looking guy with a bunch of weird markings. She quickly backed up slightly and glared at him. "How about you watch where you are going?" Bethany said sounding really annoyed right now, but she didnt make a move to attack him knowing that it probably wouldnt be a smart thing to do either.

Guin Stark

Location: The Kyln
Skills: Telepathy

Guin nodded slightly at Ed's words - it was nice of him to let her know, but she already knew that Pietro was okay - well, as okay as you could be after all the bullet holes. Guin shuddered, her breath catching at the thought. "Thanks, already knew that, but thanks," she said, before tapping the side of her head twice as an explanation. Her eye twitched as the raccoon started laughing at her. She was already incredibly scared, as prison was one of her worst fears of all time, and now the rude little talking raccoon was laughing at her? In that moment, she did something she'd never done before. She invaded the raccoon's mind and gave a simple command - hit yourself. The raccoon obeyed like a puppet on strings, slapping himself across the face.

She didn't even want to have the stupid raccoon's help anymore when it came to escaping - besides, whatever plans he had inside of his head, she could just steal them. She had already stolen some of his knowledge on how the technology on the Kyln worked, so it couldn't be that hard for her to steal some more information? She'd never really bothered to use her telepathy like this before, and a small portion of her regretted that. It was so much easier to just take the information she needed directly. Much more efficient.

No, there's a stupid raccoon and a talking tree with the speech variety of a Tickle Me Elmo doll, and this place supposedly is impossible to escape from, which means I'm going to die next to a pile of raccoon piss!

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: The Kyln
Skills: N/A

"It is alright. It is I who should apologize - without Gandr, I cannot be of any use to you," Runa said softly. Gandr channeled her abilities, allowing her to use them to shape the world around her. Without her magical staff, she had essentially lost her ~training wheels~ and simply didn't know how to ride the bicycle without them. Despite being rather old by Midgardian standards, she was still a young child as far as Asgard was concerned. However, there was one thing that she did not need her staff for - by Midgardian standards, Asgardians had super-strength more or less.

As a rather rude inmate bumped into Bethany and chastised her, Runa frowned. The man was staring at the two of them rather than moving along. Bethany was clearly not happy with the encounter, and Runa glanced at her. "If we wish to settle this by blows, I make no objection," she told her friend. She doubted that any guards would care if a fight broke out in a place like this. Unlike the prisons run by her brother, it was simply too large to be monitored. She doubted that rehabilitation was even a priority.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Kyln -- Space
Skills: Enhanced Intuition;

A giant tree and a racoon? ”Oh! They sound lovely,” Antoinette noted and started to look around for a walking tree and a small racoon. It seemed the tree would be the easier thing to track so that is what she looked for. Her blue eye started glowing as they walked and Antoinette scanned the area, thinking of where the tree might be. She thought it would be in an area of larger capacity but she didn’t see it in the immediate area they were in, which was pretty large. Was there another common area in the Kyln perhaps?
No matter how hard she tried, Antoinette couldn't get a read on where a tree might be. She scanned the area, looking for signs of anything. Her blue eye shifted back to its normal hue and Antoinette looked at Gamora.
"I can't seem to locate the tree using the easier way but hopefully he's not hard to spot." Antoinette went back to looking for a tree. How many walking and talking trees were there in space anyways?
