Liam went over how he and Shiranui used the Rotom Phones to register for the World Coronation. "And Bob's Your uncle," Liam said as he finished the explanation. The person at the desk informed the heroes that all of the trainers taking place in the ceremony were being put up in the Budew Drop Inn around the corner from the stadium.

Serina copied exactly what he said, her phone beeping as it confirmed her registration. "Excellent, This is pretty cool" she said before turning to Shinranui, "Your the same rank as me, how about you be my introduction battle to this?" She asked him after they were informed about the Budew Drop Inn.

"Sounds good to me," Shiranui accepted, noting the Budew Drop Inn as their accomodations for the ceremony. He accepted the challenge on his phone. "We should head outside to conduct this battle," he suggested.

Selina nodded and said "Make sense to me, plus this will also be a good start to my rematch with each Galar Gym Leader, since I'll be taking on stronger version then you guys since I've already obtained all the badges". She did find herself wondering about what Pokemon Shinranui would use, she knew he had Mewtwo and Zorro but was not sure if he had any others that would be close to her pokemon levels.

Shiranui went to the Rotomi to make a change to his party before the Rotom Drone arrived. "Trainers Selina Gosler and Shiranui Tsukiko, please depart to a more suitable location," the Rotom Drone instructed. Shiranui nodded and followed the Rotom Drone outside.

Selima nodded and followed Shinranui out, her heart beating fast. Last time she fought Shinranui, it had been, while, she was under Nigel and working as a distraction only. She never got to fight him in the Aloha Leauge as he went out before her. Now, she was going to get a chance to actually fight him seriously.

Though she quickly caught up with him to say "Hey, if you want to battle with your newer team members, I've got some lower level pokemon too, apart from Gileta, for obvious reasons, most of my other pokemon have had kids of their own so I have lower level pokemon as well"

"Aww, their adorable. But not as adorable as her" Selina said before taking out her own pokeball. "Valkyrie, let's get fighting" Selina said as she sent out a strange looking female Jangmo-o.
She looked a little like a shiny but had brown and white tint on her armour which seemed to resembling Hibiki orginal colour and her scales more closely resembling Gileta darker colour, though it was clear that Selina wanted to hide it as Zerina was around keeping up her illusions so to everyone but Selina friends would see Valkyrie as a Shiny Jangmo-o.

Valkyrie laughed at Ikari scary face seeming unaffected by it before roaring loudly as Selina did a little dance as she said "堂島風竜を発動" (Activate Dragon of Dojima style). Almost instantly, Valkyrie aura become burning Red and formed into what look like a Dragon behind her before charging at Ikari with a Dragon claw, but her tail glowed as well so if her claw missed, her tail would come round to try and deal damage.

"Use Dragon Rush on my signal," Shiranui commanded, "Wait for it…" When Valkyrie wound up for her attack, Shiranui commanded, "今!" (Now!) Ikari charged at Valkyrie with a point-blank Dragon Rush, made stronger by her Sheer Force ability.

Valkyrie smirked as the dragon rush came in and she stopped mid-attack and glowed brightly as she took the dragon rush head on, causing her to be pushed back slightly by the impact before roaring loudly as she unleashed the attack back at Ikari at double power with counter, likely to hit since they were so close toguther.

Though the impact and super effect damage had Valkyrie panting since it had been quite bad a strong attack. Thankfully she had held on, though her hp was quite low.

Ikari was panting in exhaustion as well after taking a Counter attack. "Ikari, finish Valkyrie off with Dragon Claw!" The shiny Bagon mustered up the energy for her next attack and before she started charging again she let off a bright glow, signifying that she was evolving. Her body morphed into a spherical shape with four stump-like legs and when the glow subsided there stood a green-tinged Shelgon that started running at Valkyrie. Shiranui scanned Ikari's new form with his Rotom Phone. "Shelgon, the Endurance Pokémon. A Dragon type and the evolved form of Bagon. Shelgon ignores its hunger entirely, never eating any food. Apparently, Shelgon will evolve once all its energy stores are used up."

As her opponent got stronger and evoled, Valkyrie was feeling a rush. She charged at Ikari before stopping midcharge as she glowed bright white to once again counter the attack though her glow quickly improved and she evoled into Hakamo-o.

Her difference in appearance also shined more here, her armoured scales were a brownish colour with white strips running though them while her scales were now a much lighter purple with some of the same marking that Salazzle had. Whatever damage she sent back at Ikari, was too much for her and she would collapse in defeat though if she brought down her opponent at the same time, it would be good enough for her competitive nature.

During the battle, Gileta had snuck up behind Chuck and gently nudged Hibiki pokeball to see if she could get her out. If not, she would nudge Chuck as she said "Hey, Hibiki will need to hear Selina explanation for Valkyrie appearance"

Ikari landed the hit and a moment before impact Valkyrie's Counter aura flared up. A cloud of dust covered the two combatants at the moment of impact and when it subsided, the Rotom Drone overseeing the battle saw what it needed to see. "Both Pokémon are unable to battle," the Rotom Drone arbitrated, "This battle is a draw. No change to the trainers' rankings." With that, the Rotom Drone flew off.

Shiranui recalled the newly-evolved Ikari and addressed Selina. "Is Valkyrie another one of them?" he inquired, referring to a group of super-Pokémon a syndicate of poachers engineered from splicing Saisei's DNA with various other Pokémon.
