I can understand that, those kind of mechs can seem a bit too extravagant even though they are epic.

Before my current one I was trying to decide between the Destiny Gundam and The Double Zeta. I'm definitely going with both of them somewhere down the line. I Was also thinking of Heavy Arms because it I think it would suit Jun. Then I waas thinking that Kyrios may also suit him too

Also I'm pretty sure Build Burning Gundam was a heavily modified Burning/God Gundam, hence why it was named after it.


No Build Burning was completely original, it’s original form the Star Burning was clearly more of the Board and Rifle type and Burning was in the name in Japan, the thing is that Burning is only a translation in America. The Build Burning is Inspired by the God Gundam, but it’s actually a scratch build by Sei. Both the HG kit and it’s official profile both state that the Star Burning doesn’t have a base suit and since the Build Burning is the complete form of that, by extension it doesn’t have a base either.

I agree that there's just a different appeal to simpler models. In my head its the difference between the Exia and the Strike Freedom. One being a simplified design thats cool and slick, the other being a mobile armory with all the guns. Both are cool just different

The 'Dobutsu', sounds cool as hell. I love it! Thats definetly the sort of concept you'd see in a sports anime.

So with these NPCs, i'm guessing we have semi-control over them?

Yeah, as long as it’s not another persons opponent (Naoki not included) and as long as you don’t say you explicitly destroyed them it’s fine.

Also, I know there’s a universal rule of “wait for other person before you post again” and I’d like to add that for battles with 3 or more people, the person who posted first reacted/moved first

What do you guys think the official term for the pilot should be for this RP? Cause if I remember correctly the anime calls them pilots but in the manga they call the pilots gunpla meisters.

So I decided to put it to a vote; Gunpla Meister, Gunpla Pilot, or Gunpla Fighter? Whichever got 2 wins.

I use Gunpla Fighter, cause my character is a definitely more of the G Gundam kind.

yeahh this is definetly the type of high energy shounen anime feeling it has going on right now. I like it, we're making some good progress

Gotcha, i originally had it so the two weapons stabbed into its chest but this works too
