"Get out of the way!" Dalisy shouted trying to get into the elevator. But the crowd was too much and she missed the elevator. She punched the wall and turned around. "Lost them." She grumbled walking over to Astrid.

"There was blood on the up button, but unless there is blood inside the elevator telling me which floor they went to it's impossible." She was scowling. "Thank you for hitting them though. Wish I could have gotten them too." She was honestly impressed with Astrid being able to hit an invisible target. Even Dalisy hadn't known where they had been.

Dalisy sighed and turned to Arnora, "I'm fine, just pissed. If someone pushes me down I usually punch them and I didn't get a chance this time." She was trying to keep her anger reined in, but at least she could direct it at the mysterious person and not anyone in the group. Heck she didn't even care about Lara's presence at the moment.

"It was no problem, Nadia. Are you doing alright, Arnora?" Lara did smile a bit at that point as Arnora assured her that she was alright. She stood up and brushed herself off a bit at that point, not even caring at that point that her shirt was now in ruins. She did look around to see that everyone had left the office and headed to the elevator area, and if she had to guess, that was because that was where the assailant had gone. She had been more concerned for her friend, and that had been her concern. She did head over to the elevator area, noticing the stares the others were getting.

Astrid went to retrieve her spear at that point, and then looked at the others. [color=#EDDA74]"Nothing to see, and I wasn't trying to attack anyone. Target practice gone wrong." Astrid lied with ease at that point and then turned to the others and looked at Dalisy. "You're welcome, I got lucky and I know it. However, that does mean that we've injured whomever that is a bit, and well, that might work to our advantage. I'm sorry we can not see which floor they went to." She frowned a bit more at that point and then shrunk her spear down and tucked it away.

"Well, we have a suspect it seems, even if we don't know who they are... but they'll be freshly injured just after Baldur told us not to attack one another. Whether or not anyone else follows that, will remain to be seen." Lara sighed a bit as she looked around the hall and frowned more. So far their clues pointed towards either Loki himself, or an agent of Loki, and that wasn't boding well for them.

"I guess the question is, what do we do now? We could try to look around the office a bit more, and hope that that invisible person didn't have a partner." Astrid sighed a bit at that point as she looked around. She did pause as she looked at the elevator again and walked over to the panel and hit the button. Maybe there would still be some blood inside the elevator when it returned. That was the only hope she could have at that point.

Klara gave Runa a smile as she helped her up off of the ground as she watched the others all scramble a bit towards the elevator trying to catch whoever it was that had attacked them. She was glad to hear that Runa was okay, and she saw the crowd assembling over by the elevator wondering clearly what was going on. Truthfully, Klara wasn't too sure what had happened herself aside from some random person (who they weren't sure who it was) being invisible and more or less attacking them while they were in Helgi's office, which was oddly suspicious.

Hearing Runa's question towards her, she glanced over and looked at her again, recalling that she clearly had had some trouble with larger crowds in the past. "I'm not really sure what happened... As far as I can tell though, it was obvious that someone clearly didn't want to get caught. Which means they likely either know something, are involved somehow, or are investigating things like us, but don't want to share what they might know or have found out..." she commented with a bit of a shrug to Runa, unsure what else to really say.

"Yeah there really isn't anything to see here." Nadia said looking over towards the crowd who were still there whispering amongst themselves whether or not they should fight them for disobeying Baldur's rules or not. Nadia was getting a little bit nervous looking over towards Astrid, Lara and Dalisy wondering what they should do when she heard someone walking down the hallway and past reception, both Runa and Klara would see Baldur coming over.

"Everyone scatter." Baldur said as the group started to disperse, Nadia was about to leave, but he held up his hand looking at the three of them, and then over towards Klara and Runa motioning for the two of them to come forward as well to. "Whats not to see here and what happened?" Baldur asked calmly Nadia looked a bit nervous she wasn't sure what to actually say to the god himself.

Arnora rubbed her sore shoulder, she was glad that both Lara and Nadia were able to heal her shoulder, as she looked towards the blood that was on the ground. She noted that there was blood on the elevator button panel, she was about to try and use her ability when she heard Baldur's voice and quickly turned around. Just in time to see the other Einherjar were scattering and leaving now, just leaving her Lara, Dalisy, Nadia and Astrid in the hallway as well to she noticed that Baldur also waved Runa and Klara over as well to.

Arnora looked rather nervous, they did manage to lie to one god already and she had a feeling that it wouldn't really be to smart to either really to lie to Baldur himself. "We were just trying to help and find out what's actually happening, and we started with Helgi's office, when I was attacked." Arnora said gesturing towards her shoulder. Baldur closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose slightly looking at all of them. "Why would you all decide to take it upon yourself to investigate this when your lives and Valhalla is at stake?" Baldur asked them.

Dalisy, more full of bravado than good sense at the best of times, smiled brightly at Baldur and said, "If the situation does not get fixed then we cannot return to normal. Would it not be better to die trying to save everyone here, than live in fear?" She didn't add that the faster it was resolved the faster she didn't have to be around Lara.

There was a whole lot of information that they had as a group already. She wondered if Baldur knew about Loki's symbol. "We wounded the person who attacked us." She told him plainly. "They went through that elevator, but I wasn't able to catch them." She was pretty irritated about that last bit.

"...But how could someone be invisible like that?" Runa asked Klara quietly. She wasn't too familiar with the rules of magic yet. She didn't know if invisibility was relatively easy for anyone to achieve - or if it was something only a select few would be able to do. Maybe it was something really hard to pull off, allowing them to narrow down the list of people who could've been responsible. She bit her lip though, as she saw someone coming their way - her father, Balder, the God of Love. She felt a deep sense of shame, from her toes all the way up to her forehead. The idea of him being disappointed in her bothered her - something she had never thought about.

She had always worried about being a disappointment to the universe... Being worried about disappointing her father was something new. Runa hesitantly stepped forward, keeping her mouth firmly shut. She didn't have that burst of confidence she had when Heimdall came along. And if the others were right and it was somehow some love based power... Well, she doubted it would work on the God of Love. Instead, Runa elected to look down at her feet, feeling a swirl of anxiety go through her as the others started confessing.

Lara froze for a moment at that point as she heard Baldur again, and then she looked up at him and then started fidgeting with her necklace a bit. She was glad that Dalisy had spoken up, then the same with Nadia and Arnora. She wasn't sure what to say but she did figure it was best to let the others speak. "It is true, we wished to help and get to the bottom of what is going on. We knew that others might try to hurt one another and that the sooner things get resolved, the sooner we do not have to worry about other accidentally killing one another permanently."

"It is as Dalisy says, we were investigate the office when an invisible person attacked, injuring Arnora with an arrow. I did manage to injure them, but we lost them in the elevator. We were hoping that if we looked inside that we might see which button they pressed, so we could guess which floor they were on." Astrid only added that tidbit once she was sure that they were okay with telling Baldur about what they had been doing.

"I am sorry that we caused such a scene but we hadn't expected anyone invisible to be in there." Lara sighed a bit as she fidgeted with the ring on her necklace chain. They had been caught, way too fast, and she didn't really want to lie to the god so much. Once she had spoken, she mostly hung back with the others, not wanting the god to direct his possible wrath at her.

"I do apologize as well, but I wanted to help because I know that it will be only a matter of time before someone else attacks one another. I offered my help to this group because I know several of them personally, and I do not wish to see any of them vanish." Astrid looked over at Baldur and waited to see what would happen next.

"Magic I guess, kind of makes the universe go round in a way," Klara said with a bit of a shrug. She wasn't entirely sure more specifically what it was that could have caused that sort of thing. She wasn't entirely sure what all was going on with the group of people by the elevator, but since Runa didn't seem to really want to go over to where the crowd was, so she stayed put right by her. That is until Baldur showed up and told the group to scatter more or less. Well, to scatter except for their group, and he motioned for her and Runa to join them, so she walked over too.

Listening to what they were saying, Klara thought for a moment as to how to respond best to the question. Everyone else was already answering (aside from Runa, but she wasn't really surprised), mainly saying the exact same things. "Well if you ask me, the more people trying to figure it out, the more likely we'll be able to actually stop what's going on and fix it. Plus, going to be blunt with a lot of people when you tell them not to do something, that's just going to make them want to do it that much more. So you can get mad at us about it all you want, that's not going to fix or solve anything."

Baldur looked at everyone else as they started to explain what they were doing exactly as he closed his eyes and sighed to himself eyeing Arnora who had been injured in the attack by the looks of it. Seeing the blood staining the shoulder but the wound itself was healed for the most part. Nadia looked a little bit nervous she was half expecting Baldur to just lock them all up inside of their rooms which was the last thing that she wanted to do. She watched as Baldur crossed his arms over his chest and rubbed his beard somewhat as he thought about what to do.

Nadia went over and gently rested a hand on Runa's shoulder seeing her friend looking down, and tried to cheer her up. "Everything will be alright." Nadia whispered so only Runa would be able to hear her, she really didn't want to be punished just by simply helping, she thought about mentioning saving Baldur from Helheim but decided against it. She didn't really want to end up getting on any gods bad side, she read a lot of mythology stories, sometimes gods were really petty and spiteful.

Baldur took a moment looking over at Runa seeing her looking down like she was ashamed for what they had done, though he couldn't blame the group wanted to try and make things safer around here. And also to find out what exactly was going on here right now as well to, he sighed and this group of ladies did help save him. And he was especially proud of Runa even and went over and gave his daughter a hug whether Runa wanted one or not he was actually very proud of her.

What Baldur said next did surprise Arnora. "I was already aware of what was etched onto the table, but didn't know that someone else was in there, thats why I had Heimdal taking a look into it. I'll allow you all to look into this with the others who are searching for clues. but if you are in a situation that you cannot handle come to find me or the Thanes, or your fellow Valkyries." Baldur said as Arnora looked towards the others for a moment before looking at him and nodded. "Of course Lord Baldur." Arnora said bowing her head towards him.

Dalisy was honestly surprised when Bauldr gave them permission to keep investigating. She had expected the lot of them to be told to go to a room and stay put. He also said something that made her proud. Her father had been investigating and hadn't found the invisible person. She had done that!

She turned to the others and grinned. "I'm gonna catch the elevator and see if there are more clues there." She told them, before going and pressing the recall button the elevator she knew the invisible person had gone into. She'd, from there, check to see if there was a blood trail. Hopefully, she'd be able to track down their assailant. They wouldn't be able to kill them, but if they caught them then the Thanes could do something about it.

Runa nodded slightly as Nadia came over and put a hand on her shoulder. She knew that Nadia was likely lying - they could all die for real now and even worse than that, they were now in trouble with Runa's father. She'd never been in trouble with her father before. Sure, her mother had had plenty of reasons to be cross with her growing up, but her mother hadn't really believed in traditional punishment. Shockingly, Runa turned out okay and didn't instantly become a brat. Nature versus nurture and all. But even more shockingly, Runa found herself being hugged by her father, feeling his scratchy beard and gigantic muscles. She dwarfed in comparison next to him.

"Umm...." Runa didn't know what to say, her mind going blank for a moment and temporarily forgetting English. "Takk skal du ha1," Runa said in her native tongue. She cleared her throat slightly, her eyes widening a bit as Balder said that they were permitted to continue the search efforts. She thought he was going to lock them inside a room with a board game or something and tell them to keep themselves out of trouble. She nodded quickly. "Thank you," she said again, this time in English.

Lara had been expecting a rather awful scolding from the God, after disobeying and then lying to him as well, but she had been surprised when Baldur hugged his daughter and then told them that they were permitted to continue the investigation as long as they came to him or any of those in power if something went wrong. She only realized she had tensed up when she let out a sigh of relief and her body relaxed at that point. "Thank you Lord Baldur, we will make sure to do that." She offered him a smile and a slight bow at that point. She was also thankful that Baldur had not asked them to promise or take an oath, as she was sure that would have taken a bit out of her to bind them all to that word.

"Thank you Lord Baldur. I will keep your words in mind as we continue to investigate." Astrid offered her own bow to the god, and then offered a small smile. She was very glad that he had given them permission to continue as she had thought that when they had been caught she would have gotten in serious trouble. Enough trouble to even get her tossed out of the Hotel, she had thought. She could not bare that thought if she was honest with herself. She loved being a Valkyrie, and she loved having a higher purpose than just to simply live and go to school.

Lara watched as Dalisy walked over to the elevator and nodded, letting her do so. She knew that she was still not Dalisy's favorite person, so she decided not to assist her. She looked back to the rest of the group before speaking. "I think I might go investigate the office again, now that our mysterious assailant has shown themselves. Just in case they left anything behind. Anyone want to come with me?" In the back of her mind she knew that it was probably a very bad idea to split the group up a bit, but she did want to check out where that assailant had been hiding, to see if there were any clues.

Astrid walked over to Dalisy and nodded to her. "If you don't mind, I would like to join you. I already have our mystery person once, so maybe I can assist in catching them when you find some lead." She had faith that Dalisy would be able to find something, given that she had already spotted something her father had not noticed before.

She wasn't too sure how everything would go with Baldur all things considering. Sure, they were doing something that they had specifically been told not to do, but could anyone really blame them for doing what others were clearly somewhat slow about doing? Nope, not really, at least that's how she saw things. Klara half expected Baldur to get mad with them all for it, but she was somewhat glad that he didn't (who really would want to piss off any of the gods?) The fact that he seemed alright with them continuing onwards and all.

"Thank you," she ended up saying to Baldur, for the whole not pissed off at them thing for ignoring what they were being told. Of course, now came the whole what to do now? The person who had been in the area was long gone now, and they didn't really have a way to just full on track down whoever it was. That made things a bit difficult for them to try and figure out what to do now. A few others were saying how they were going to go back in the office to investigate, but Klara wasn't entirely sure what all they would find left in the room. There hadn't exactly been a whole lot and all to find there.

"Du er velkommen lille." Baldur said for only Runa to hear giving his daughter a loving smile as he stepped back for a moment, looking over towards the others and nodded slightly. "Keep everyone in the loop and do not engage until we get there." Baldur told them as he looked at Runa one last time before heading back down towards the hallway.

"Well that wasn't so bad." Nadia finally said as she sighed looking at Dailsy as she headed for the elevator to investigate and Lara suggesting going back to the office to investigate. "I'm pretty sure we picked the place clean but i'll go with you." Nadia said while looking at Klara and Runa. "What do you guys want to do?" She asked, she watched as the elevator started to open up for Dalisy the elevator looked to be pretty bloody as well.

"Thank you Lord Baldur." Arnora said towards Baldur as he started to leave them and left them to their own devices, she turned to look at the others and nodded at Nadia she had to agree that it was a lot easier now. "I agree with you." Arnora said as she watched Dalisy making her way towards the elevator. The floor was rather bloody from the fight and she noticed that there was blood on the really large button panel that had all of the floor numbers.

Arnora looked at the button panel rather closely seeing the bloodied handprint on it and stared at the buttons rather closely before spotting a bloody fingerprint that was on the 100th floor. Turning to look at the others who were investigating the office again. "Hey theres a lead on the 100th floor if any of you want to come."

Dalisy didn't even need her super sense to tell her that the person Astrid had wounded had pressed the button for floor 100. She was actually a little disappointed. If it had been her she would have smeared blood on a bunch of buttons to confuse anyone trying to follow her. But whatever.

"This person is either an idiot. Or this is a trap." She leaned more toward the person being an idiot. They weren't supposed to be involved. So no one could have planned for it. Unless the trap had been set for her father originally and the person was improvising. She frowned. Her hand started toward her sword, but she decided against it. She needed to use non-lethal methods, something Dalisy wasn't used to.

"Let's go punch a jerk." She said grinning, holding the elevator doors till everyone who wanted to join in that part of the expedition joined. "Maybe we can lift a print." She said. A funny image of them comparing fingerprints to everyone made her grin grow wider.

Runa had wanted to go back to the office to investigate, as things seemed to be much safer there. She was decently worried about dying and never coming back. However, before she could even pretend to investigate the office, Arnora called out that she had a lead - and a bloody elevator. Runa bit her lip slightly as she looked at the inside of the elevator, seeing the blood all over the floor. She wasn't afraid of blood in general, thanks to the fact that (at least when she was alive) she had to deal with periods and all the joy that came with those. She was more just afraid of having all of her blood spilled on the floor like that.

"Okay, I'll come," Runa said softly, before stepping into the elevator delicately, doing her best to not get any blood on her shoes. Blood on clothing was pretty standard in Hotel Valhalla, but Runa did really love these shoes and she didn't want to have to deal with removing the stains. She also didn't want to make a new bloody trail that would only make things harder to follow and figure out who was responsible. What was even up on the 100th floor - was it just housing? Runa couldn't recall.

Lara looked up when Arnora said that there was a lead in the elevator, but she saw that Dalisy was heading that way. "I'd appreciate your help, Nadia. I know we've probably picked it clean but I'd rather double check just in case, especially since our invisible assailant revealed themself." Lara went to head back into the office and started by looking over where she thought their invisible assailant had come from, and focused on that spot for a moment.

Astrid stepped into the elevator with the others and spotted the blood on the floor button and raised a brow at that. Either their assailant had been in a panic or as Dalisy had pointed out, it was a trap. "If it s a trap, we will have to take the risk. It is the only lead we have unless we truly can lift and compare prints." Astrid chuckled a bit at that and then looked over at Runa and then nodded her. "Thank you for joining us."

Lara had come to the realization that there really was nothing else to find there, or if there was, it wasn't anything she could spot that was new besides the mark from earlier and the empty spot. Maybe it had been a bust, but she felt a bit better after double checking. "Thank you for coming with me, Nadia, even if it turned out to be nothing." She went to head out of the office, wondering where they should go next, since they had missed where the rest of the group had gone.

Astrid leaned up against the wall, watching as the numbers went up. She just stayed silent, thinking about things. Agent of Loki, agent of Chaos... the dead staying dead in a hotel where that wasn't suppose to be. Her brows furrowed at that point as she watched the little dial move up until it hit 100. "Here we are then."

Klara almost asked about what would happen if they ran into the one responsible and they got attacked or something? Cause then seriously they wouldn't have time to alert anyone, since people could actually die and not come back so staying alive was way more important in her mind. Also the idea of finding out who all was responsible for this entire situation was also something rather important to not dying, but the idea that Baldur wanted them to go out of their way to essentially stop whatever they were doing to go alert someone to something was kind of funny in her mind, especially if they encountered the one responsible. Oh sorry, hold on, I have to go tell someone all about this real quick, can we resume the fighting in say, 5 minutes?

She had to stop herself from laughing about it, when Arnora called their attention and mentioned that they did have a lead with the elevator. Since apparently whoever was invisible was an idiot and had left a fingerprint of blood or whatever on the elevator panel. Complete with showing them a floor number that they likely headed to, that being floor 100. "Oh this'll be a fun adventure, let's go!" she said happily as she stepped into the elevator after the others did. Klara wanted something to happen, or them to find something out that would be helpful, so that was something too.

"Yep no problem." Nadia said as she looked around the room there really wasn't anything left inside as she started to make her way back towards the elevator just in time to see that the elevator door had closed. The others must have gone up ahead without them, she closed her eyes and sighed, splitting up the group was never really a smart thing at all. She watched as the elevator started to go up she turned to face Lara. "It looks like we have to wait for the elevator to go back down." Nadia said as she watched it continue to ascend.

Then she noticed something a little bit odd as the floor number display where elevator was suddenly flickered, and then the thing shut off, she quickly started to press the call button but nothing seemed to really happen which she thought was really weird. "I think we have to try another elevator." Nadia said as she started to go down the hallway where another one was.

Arnora leaned back as the others got into the elevator, she noticed Lara and Nadia were on their way over just as the doors closed and the elevator started to ascend. "Maybe we should have waited for them to catch up?" Arnora said letting out a sigh as they started to go up, they were getting close to the 100th floor when. They hit the 99th's floor however about half way between the two floors the elevator's lights started to flicker, and shut off plunging them all into darkness.

"Do these things happen in elevators usually?" Arnora asked, looking at Dalisy, Astrid, and Runa, since she and Klara had been dead since way before elevators were invented. They would suddenly feel the elevator shake rather violently causing everyone to stumble a bit which wasn't really a fun feeling. "Maybe we should find a way out?" Arnora asked nervously.

Dalisy shrugged, she had been willing to wait. It wasn't her fault the others went back to the stupid office room expecting to find something more important than the literal trail of blood. At least it meant Lara wasn't with them, which Dalisy was just fine with. She was glad Astrid was there since apparently, Astrid could hit an invisible person with her spear.

"Not the most common thing. It usually implies the power is out in the building. Two ways out that I can think of. One is up and through the hatch on the top, the other is to pry the doors open and hope we aren't between floors too much and find a solid wall. We really gotta hope that it doesn't fail completely and we fall to our deaths." Dalisy grinned.

"Someone give me a lift up I'll try for the hatch in the top. Hopefully, it has one. Question Arnora, how did you guys go up and down the floors before the elevators? Did you climb a hundred flights of stairs daily? Or was there a cool slide?" She asked.
