Forgot to add, while Auril is still present the land is in darkness, with only a few hours of twilight close to mid day. It's been that way for about at least a year.

Also think of Icewind Dale as being in one of the more northern parts of the world.

I have a question though, do you do Downtime and if so, what would it be like to craft a magic potion? I'm hoping to make healing potions and other useful ones for the party when we're not adventuring, but I'm not sure if that'll even be a thing.

@Norschtalen I am still looking for players.

I will allow down time, for crafting potions of healing is half the cost for the supplies with use of alchemist tools or herbalist kit. Crafting time I'll have to refer to the dmg for an idea of how long it should take, and I think it will also be determined by the strength of the potion.

With a survival check I would allow that for collecting needed supplies. Though keep in mind that Icewind Dale is a frozen tundra with a few mountains and woods.

I'll try to get a map posted up here that will be readily visible to everyone.

I'm guessing you're pact weapon is the hand crossbow?

Yup! It's a one-handed weapon, so I can make it into my pact weapon. My plan once I get to level 5 is to do smites with my crossbow.

I'm not typically a gold-caring person... but since I'm playing a greedy bard, I feel obliged to ask if his playing earns him any money while at the mead hall? Aside from the 1 silver from The Tiefling (his words, not mine).

Mostly just waiting to see if Rinx responds, since Donny had addressed her. I'm otherwise assuming we're in conversation mode so we're not in any specific rush?

I can't say I know everything that's happened either, but I can give you a summary of what I know since I joined: Currently we are in Good Mead, and tonight the Frost Maiden is coming to collect the warmth from everyone's home. Presumably this is some sort of folklore thing and the point is that a lotta people are going to be cold tonight. At the moment, all of us players are in the mead hall of Good Mead, which is basically the town's inn. Domic and Kyra are both looking to help around the village, and Kythor has offered a job for them. Rinx is also there commenting on the situation.

As far as how/why your character is there, could be that they're looking to help too, or maybe they're on the run? Maybe just exploring and need some extra dollah dollah?
