Important items: A penknife, too small and too blunt to be used as a weapon by anyone except the truly desperate. Works just fine on letters, however.
Short Bio: Mikaela wasn't dealt the best of hands growing up. Parents who spent much of her childhood working overseas, returning home for brief periods trying to buy her love with gifts, only to leave her again. Mikaela was raised by various relatives, all whom never really connected to the gloomy girl. This coupled with the bullying she faced at school led her to a perpetual life online. Online, she wasn't shunned for what her bullies called a privileged childhood, where she could express herself freely without being told to "speak up". So when an offer to enter the Digital World is presented to her, it comes off as a dream come true, an escapist's paradise. Time will tell has she made the right choice. Personality: A sheltered child now a distant teen, Mikaela puts on a face of indifference to hide whatever she feels or thinks. This has others think of her as air-headed, aloof or just plain shy. Her mask is her armor designed to disarm the barbs of her bullies' insults. After all, if she gives off no reaction to whatever insults they throw at her, they'll grow bored of her. This tactic has served her well in life in school and without it.
But Mikaela is more than just the shell she expresses outwards. In the safe confines of her room and the online world linked to it, she can be witty (through text!), passionate about her various creative hobbies, competitive, and sometimes she might even crack a joke.
An armor of forced calm wrapped around precarious, fragile happiness borne in isolation.
Skills: Nothing of note.
Name: Ghostmon
Age: Unknown
Physical Description:
Type: Data
Personality: Ghostmon is a mischievous but energetic little soul, a trickster finding amusement by pulling pranks on the unsuspecting Digimon around her. She finds enjoyment laughing at those fallen for her pranks, though she got in trouble for them more times than she cares to count, the attention garnered was always worth it. As a trickster of sorts, she tends to come off as mean or insulting towards others, finding amusement in their misery as a result of her pranks.
Deep down, however, she is simply a lonely soul. With no past to look back on, and no one to normally notice her or be with her, she had only felt the pains of isolation for so long. The only thing alleviating this pain was her own self-amusement at the expense of others. What she wants above all else is someone to finally notice her and befriend her, to finally be free of her loneliness and feel true sincere happiness.
Short Bio: She had no memory of what she was like when she died. No memory of what her form was like, if she was a rookie, a champion, or maybe even an ultimate, or why she remains as a ghost. Normally, when a Digimon dies, their data reformats into a digi-egg, a sort of reincarnation for those who are decent Digimon to begin with, or they are cast into the Dark area for their sins. Yet she had neither fate befall her and instead became a wandering ghost-type. With nothing left to do and no real links to whatever past she may have had, she spent her time haunting the forests and pulling pranks on other Digimon, a coping mechanism to fight back how lonely she felt deep down. One day, however, she was found by an angel holding a strange necklace, the light reflecting off its surface phasing right through her ghostly self. The angel, Lucemon, claimed that she was looking for her, and offered a giving her a friend in exchange for her service. Curious as to why Lucemon would be looking for her in particular - a link to her past perhaps - and tempted by a desire to have a friend at last, she accepted his offer, leading her to a human woman who Lucemon deemed her partner and friend, Mikaela Angelo.
Powers:
Little Plasma: Fires weak energy shots from its palms.
Jack Raid: Turns transparent moments before charging and crashing into the enemy, striking them from behind while they are confused. (The cooldown for this attack is immediate.)
Important items Family Pendent He has a gold-coated circular pendent necklace with a small falcon etched on it. It can open up to reveal a small picture of his fives siblings and his father cobbled together in a messy, seemingly ruined attempt to do a family portrait.
Travel Bag Hardly ever a day where you see him without hiking bag over his shoulder, within which contains typical necessities, first-aid equipment, and snacks.
Personality Simply put: Vergil is a jerk. He's rough-edged, blunt as a rock, and makes it perfectly clear that he's not looking to interact with others. From the beginning, Vergil has been a boy craving to be strong, to be seen by his elder brothers as their equal, rather than living in their shadow. His life beyond his family in the urban jungle of New York made him jaded and cynical, the only thing keeping him off the deep-end sooner being a kind mother who passed on long before he was ready to accept it, and lashed out towards those who messed with him violently as a result.
Vergil had no real talent, envious of the family around him that were gifted in their own unique ways. Tried as he might to have his older brothers teach him to be strong, they never truly had the chance, so he had to learn to fend for himself. As such, feelings like honor and chivalry in a fight were meaningless words to him, merely the self-restraint of cowards. Pragmatic to a fault in any situation, he's not afraid to play or fight dirty to get what he wants. When his youngest brother was shown to be as seemingly talentless as himself, he couldn't help but project himself hard onto him, verbally beating him down to try and drive him to be stronger as he himself is.
if there was one thing he cared about and had any loyalty for, it was his family. It was driven into his head that his family is something he had to be there for, and for whom would be there for him. Defensive of them to a fault, and willing to go through beatdown after beatdown, outright risking his own life if it means making them happy. He has no self-worth, and so he sees no future for himself compared to them, and so he feels a sense of purpose to help two of his younger siblings to make a decent future for themselves with their talents. He was contempt with the idea of living off the street for them, not caring about the expectations of anyone else.
Even with the youngest, he at least genuinely believes he's trying to drive him to be able to face what he could not at his age. His envy for the attention his little brother had drove him to thoughts of wanting him gone, and when he was, he tried to push forward and move on while hiding the guilt of being responsible for it, responsible for his family's misery, but after finding a potential lead, he made his decision to follow it, regardless of what kind of trouble it would put him in, to find the little brat and if he is alive, drag him back home. Therein lies his more favorable traits: No real interest in other people or even his own standing in society, but once he is focused on something, fueled by familial responsibility, he will not rest until he gets what he wants. No matter who or what stands in his way, no matter how out of his league he may be, for them, he would walk into hell without question or hesitation.
Short Bio Born the third in a dysfunctional family of 6 children and a single father, living in the big city of New York, Vergil had a rough life from the get go. He still remembers parts of his childhood, admiring the eldest brother who he felt as if he could do no wrong and the next eldest who had strength he could only dream of, the kindness of his mother, a school teacher before her untimely death, and the expectations of an even stronger father for each child to find their talents and find peace through them.
However, the boy Vergil found he had no real talent to speak of. He was far from smart in spite of his attempts to learn, he was far from strong in spite of his attempts to fight. He admired his eldest brother Jordan, who cheered him on to be the best at what he could be... But he never could. Nothing he did was good enough in comparison to everyone else, always living in the shadow of his different flavors of betters. Even outside - especially outside - he found no rest, bullied and beaten by those who saw him as easy prey.
To make matters worse, the mother that was there to help comfort him was no longer with him, due to complications of the birth of the 6th and final child. Her loss impacted the family a great deal. The father tried his best for them, with his two elder brothers now too focused on helping out, but still they struggled to keep whatever they had left. Meanwhile, Vergil was struggling through high school and two of his little siblings are too young to do much to help in spite of their own talents. He started getting into fights with his bullies, and any other thugs who happen to be in sight, using them as nothing more than training dummies, then robbing them blind as his own little way of helping out the rest of the family. Desperate times call desperate measures after all.
As the youngest brother slowly grew up and went to school, he realized that, just like him, the boy had little to no real talent. He had a "unique" perception on things, but it didn't seem to help him much with school, leading to bullying on his part as well. Vergil saw himself in the boy - his weak and helpless past was reflected in this little boy's eyes - and his lackadaisical attitude of accepting his lot in life felt like a spit in the face for everything he worked hard to overcome. Perhaps it's because of that that Vergil was especially cruel and aggressive to the boy, bullying him and reminding him of his insignificance compared to the rest of his family. Yet, one day Jordan decided to take it upon himself to train the boy up, something he never bothered with for Vergil himself for reasons unknown to him.
Seething over the jealousy of the one brother he looked up to passing him over for a lazy talentless runt like the boy, he could do nothing but wish that the boy would just disappear from his life.
One day, as if fate listened to him, he got exactly what he wanted. Without a trace of how it happened, the runt disappeared from their life. He was in his room one day and the next he just...wasn't. A Missing Person report was filed and the police were involved, but in the end, nothing could be found to hint to where he went off to or how he vanished. It seemed like he was just doomed to share the fate of other such cases, never to be seen alive again.
There were many emotions Vergil was experiencing at the time: Shock, Sorrow, Regret, Guilt, but most appallingly, relief. Knowing that this was what he wanted was something that even struck himself as unnerving, and as if to force down those thoughts, he came to the conclusion that the kid was dead and wanted to move on with his life. That was what he wanted, but staring at the depressed faces of his family, the sadness so clear in all of them, he couldn't bring himself to just leave it be no matter how much he wanted to...
Especially when, very soon after the disappearance, two letters were found for himself and the little brother they lost, inviting them to Hawaii for whatever reason. It didn't take long for him to connect the dots and assume that this was connected somehow to the disappearance. There was little chance that the brat was still alive, telling himself he has no interest in looking into it. But he was the one who wished for this happen, and he was effectively the one who may have brought this misery down on the people he cares about; it was his responsibility to try and set things right. With that in mind, he took the invitations and traveled across the country to Hawaii.
If the boy was dead, at least there'd be closure - and perhaps even revenge - but if he's still alive, he will find him, and he will drag him back home kicking and screaming. Either way, he will get his answers!
Skills High Endurance/Willpower Vergil has been training his body through exercise and suffering. He has lost as many battles as he won - more than some may argue - and his response every time was to heal up, train harder, and try again until he wins. Every loss he had was another reason to train, and this especially went for his two older brothers who he has never manage to win against. As a result, he has become rather durable in addition to being physically strong. He can take some decent blows and get back up for more. Of course, he's only human and does have his limits, especially in regards to Digimon, but even so, he'll try his damnedest to get back up.
Experienced Street Fighter Unlike the other Falcons, Vergil is undisciplined and self-taught on how to fight, getting into fights often during his time at school and outright picking fights with his older brothers. His way of fighting is simple and likely predictable, but effective for someone with his kind of build, and his experience has led him to improvise well enough in a fight to hold his own in spite of this.
Name Pulsemon
Age 3
Physical Description
Type Beastkin/Vaccine
Personality Pulsemon is about as energetic as his appearance suggests, a lively sort who prefers spending his time training himself up in mind, body, and spirit. The mon has a dream, and he's damn sure he can reach it. That's not to say he isn't an introvert in his exercises nor self-focused solely on it. He often helps out other Digimon around him with whatever they need to the best of his abilities, particularly beating back any bullies messing with the weaker ones, encouraging other Digimon to get strong themselves.
Because of how his life has been before the tale of Jesmon rung in his ears the first time, there's nothing that annoys him more than the disinterested and bullies, often fighting against the latter and trying to perk Digimon up to avoid the former. What he desires above all else is the power to be strong, to do whatever it takes to reach the top by his own hand and his own will, and then use that power to help out those who cannot help themselves, to encourage them to his level. To him, power should be treated with respect by those who've earned it by having fun with those who are their equal, and helping out those beneath them.
That said, He's a bit of an arrogant sort for a rookie, often cocky because of how much he trained and experienced, chalking up any curb-stomping by higher levels as "warming up". In the regards of digivolution, he acts like a lone wolf. The thought of digivolving simply by having a human with a digivice on hand at all times - not to mention it being a temporary digivolution at that - is a disappointment for him, comparing it to athletic doping. One could argue that he's in denial about the fact that digivolving any other way is not entirely possible, but he would tell you where to stick that remark.
Short Bio The earliest thing of interest that Pulsemon could remember was a story told when he was about a year old. Until then, he was simply another Digimon lackadaisically living his life, bullied by some and disregarded by others before meeting a story-telling Jijimon one day.
The idea of digivolution and becoming stronger as a result was a far-off dream for most Digimon, but Jijimon told the story of how the Royal Knight known as Gankoomon trained a young Digimon named Hackmon to do just that. The legend goes that the Wandering Royal Knight Gankoomon found a rookie-level Digimon known as Hackmon, and decided to take him as his apprentice and successor to the title of Royal Knight, something that felt inconceivable for the world back then. The training was harsh, brutal, and some may say even cruel, but with an unfailing drive, Hackmon succeeded and became the Royal Knight "Jesmon".
For Jijimon, this was simply a fun story for the young Digimon with a good moral to it. For Pulsemon, it was just the drive he needed to give his life meaning, the motivation and goal he can work his life towards. He wanted to be strong, he wanted power, and most of all, he wanted to Digivolve!
Ever since, he trained and trained himself, fighting back against rookie level bullies that treated him as a weakling, encouraging others to train up whenever he can, and never losing that passion, even in the face of failure after failure.
One day, however, he was encountered by a purple Dragon, Dorumon, who claimed to know of the legend of Jesmon...No, rather, he claimed to know Jesmon himself, as well as Gankoomon, confirming the legends to be true. He then gave the little guy to join him to help save the world from its tyrants, and in exchange, Pulsemon will be taught how to digivolve as he wanted.
For Pulsemon, the decision was a no-brainer.

@Petulant The pic you choose for Mikaela doesn't work (for me). Also the names you and @ReksewTrebla choose are a pretty a big coincidence since my name is Danny and my last girlfriend was called Mikaela
Essentially, Dante and Beatrice are childhood friends who grew up together after their respective parents somewhat settled down and became neighbors. So, since their respective parents quickly became friends, their meetings and play dates increased, which was further enhanced since they both went to the same school.
To give a bit of context and as a reminder, Dante was born with 'something' lacking inside of him, which is demonstrated by his lack of aversion towards violence, as well as a somewhat distorted sense of self/worth. Beatrice, meanwhile, was born with an extremely strong sense of empathy, as well as a unusual intuition, so she could somewhat tell what people were feeling and act accordingly, which, due to her kind nature, resulted in her comforting people when they felt down.
Their own oddities made it so that Dante ended up being cast as the odd one out of his entire generation, while Beatrice ended up as the most popular girl and someone who got along pretty well with other people, whether it be her classmates or the teachers. Still, they remained friends and that held on until they were around 12 years old or so.
People eventually noticed their friendship and, due to varying reasons, such as jealously of Dante for being so close to Beatrice, or envy of Beatrice for being the prettiest girl of their generation and having so much attention, it culminated into a tragedy the very same day they were supposed to graduate from elementary school, a small group of boys and girls confronted Dante about it, aiming to also hurt Beatrice. They started insulting Dante, which didn't faze him at all, but this drew the ire of Beatrice who noticed what was happening and went to defend him from the insults drawing the attention and the insults onto her. Seeing that Beatrice was about to burst into tears, and how some boys were sneering at him and telling Dante they were going to beat him up to prove that he wasn't 'worthy' of Beatrice, Dante's ingrained sense of justice acted up and started a rather nasty school brawl that ended up pretty badly for those involved.
He himself wasn't badly hurt, with only a few bruises here and there, but some of the boys involved had large bruises or at worst a broken nose. Going forward, and pretty obviously, the parents of those involved advocated for Dante to get expelled and, after some hesitation, he was indeed expelled from the school. This incident drew the attention of his grandfather, who after hearing about it, gave the order to bring Dante to his homeland of Italy to be formally introduced to his grandfather and such.
On Beatrice's side, she was traumatized due to what had happened there. Being able to discern how people are feeling most of the time, she understood that had she not intervened, nothing would have happened in first place. Dante only acted because of his own sense of justice identifying that driving a girl into tears, especially one so close to him, was wrong, and those that had done said wrong, had to be punished.
What had frightened her was the fact that the boy himself hadn't really done it out of anger, he personally felt nothing while engaged in the brawl, but also the fact that once he had 'won', he felt a sense of satisfaction which surged from the act of having fulfilled his sense of justice by punishing those that had made Beatrice cry. Beatrice's mother had warned her that all kinds of people existed out there, that there were people who did evil for the sake of doing so, and those who committed evil for the sake of others, and she thought herself ready for that when she eventually followed the footsteeps of her mother and grandmother and became an agent or something among those lines. But she was wrong, when faced with an act of evil steeming from a show of goodwill, out of 'righteousness', it broke her and left a scar in her mind.
She moved back to Germany to stay with her grandmother for the time being, and eventually attended middle school after recovering from the ordeal.
I will be making my GM Posts every Saturday, Philippine Time (Friday in America), regardless of whether everyone has posted for the Main Group or not; this is to prevent the RP from being a waiting game where people keep waiting for responses from someone who may be busy or otherwise occupied, thus drying up enthusiasm. If a specific character is needed to post ICly, but their player cannot do so, we, the GM Team, will try and discuss things with them to make a placeholder for what that character is doing.
This deadline is not as strict as it sounds; allowances can be made if a player requests it and gives a reason for doing so (an IRL job is a good reason).
Also, just to clarify, multiple posts by one player per round are permitted when it makes sense (in conversations and slice of life). Be careful when doing so in a combat situation, though, as the GMs control the enemy.
So for the record, it wasn't until after I started writing this CS, days after I thought of what digimon I wanted to use, that I made the connection between it and the RP's title.
Also, wasn't sure where or when the two would be dropped as a late entry player, so I left where they enter and some history stuff vague, or at least tried to attach some places to hook into.
Also also, please don't expect this level of quality for every post I make. This is the combination of a good mindset, motivation, and love for digimon in general. I normally only have 1-2 of those things at a given time.
Edit: Added the source of Sora's name, and a Baby 1 stage.
As said on Discord, the techniques are meant to be similar to the game attacks, where the usage of them doesn't necessarily equate to being able to do similar things without using a technique. For example, while Sora (in Adult stage and up) can attack at the speed of an irl master swordsman, that doesn't mean she can attack instantly like her techniques can, unless she uses one.
Edit Edit: Fixed some typos that I can't believe I missed.
Edit Edit Edit: Did some further detailing of things, (notably the items Kari carries) made it so that Hyokomon gets the name Sora from Kari, (to be shown IC if accepted) and hopefully didn't go too far with those things. Did the changes on my phone, so I apologize for any typos or errors. Looking forward to more feedback~
Edit X4: Did a change to one of Butenmon's techniques to make it (probably) more in line with what the canon intention of it is? Main update is a total overhaul of Kari's character. To give context, I wound up in a writing state and accidentally way over corrected, and then cut it down a bit to something that hopefully isn't still too extreme? Typically when I have to nerf a character, I do something like this, but I can't be sure I didn't overdo it in the opposite direction. Of course, please give me any feedback you think is needed, even if it's starting over, lol.
Important items: - Smartphone (Galaxy S24 with an open-source OS she found online. Always in a ziploc inside another ziploc unless in her own bedroom at her home. Has a wireless charging pack on it inside the baggies.) - Wireless Charger Dock (While able to fast charge her phone via the charging pack attached to it, the two or so layers of plastic around the phone make the charging take over five times as long as it would otherwise.) - Hand-crank Charger (And three cables to attach it to the wireless charging dock or other USB-C devices.) - Favorite Hoodie (Yellow and faded. She is never seen outside with the hood down. Threadbare in some places. Smells of chemicals.) - Two Courier Bags (Each has a single strap, and there are various faded and sometime outright ruined anime and manga character patches, pins, and key-chains attached to it. They also each have a water bottle in a dedicated pocket for them on the outside of the bag. The bags both smell of chemicals.) -- The first bag is filled with multiple large ziplocs full of medical gloves, as well as three bottles of rubbing alcohol, (also in large ziplocs) multiple boxes worth of ziplocs of various sizes inside a 2.5 gallon ziploc, and various bottles of disinfectant wipes that have themselves been wiped down and soaked in alcohol at her home. At the bottom of the bag is a backup hoodie that looks nearly identical to her favorite one, the only major difference being where the faded spots are.) -- The second bag also contains a large ziploc of medical gloves, as well as one full of two boxes worth of disposable medical masks, additional ziplocs inside a larger one, a set of over the ear Bluetooth headphones inside an inner pocket, an extra USB-C cable to charge the headphones, and two USB-C outlet docks in the same pocket as the headphones.) - Slightly Large Pocketknife (Kept inside a ziploc inside a slightly hard to find inner pocket of her second courier bag. It has a stylized dragon on the side of it.) - Three Bottles of Fast-Acting Anxiety Medication (Two are kept in the same pocket as the knife, but in the other bag. A third is in the second bag, which is the bottle she normally takes from when outside.) - Broken Virtual Pet Toy (Made by hand a year ago, the plastic shell is permanently marked with faded spots from cleaning, and the screen is cracked (but not missing any pieces) on the right side, just above the vertical center. No longer holds a charge, but still has a dead rechargeable battery in it. Missing a single small screw on the top left of the back of the shell. Kept in a small plastic box which is itself inside two layers of ziplocs.)
Short Bio: Kari began life as a normal child, if a bit more curious than most. Since her parents were allergic to nearly every animal that could be kept in a home, they quickly introduced her virtual pet toys. She loved them from as far back as her first memory, and does to this day.
Miss Black grew up beside two friends she made in Kindergarten. To the other students she wasn't quite a bully, but the distinction was most like that between an MMO's Player-Killer and a PKK. While she only remembers one instance, her parents assure her that by Second Grade she had been sent home three times for choking a peer.
It was around Third Grade when things began to change for her. She quickly developed an aversion to physical contact with other people, animals, and certain materials. This was accompanied by a desperate need to wash her hands, more often and thoroughly than was healthy. While it started with just her hands needing to be "clean," as the years went on it quickly spread to the rest of her. By Fifth Grade her hands, wrists, and lower forearms were raw and red constantly as a result of relentless washing. This was also the year that her two friends and herself severed their friendship. Kari believes herself to have little blame for this, but the truth is the opposite; it was almost entirely because of Kari's own actions.
She spent the rest of her time before High-school without a single friend among her peers, and while her childhood reputation protected her from being outright bullied it did not stop the other children from avoiding her as much as they could. Since there was no reason to spend time with others her age, she spiraled deeper into her own world, inhabited only by herself and her virtual pets. This love of them directly led to her learning basic programing, solely to create more with her own hands.
In Middle-school she was finally taken by her parents to a psychiatrist who diagnosed her with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. At Kari's insistence, she was not given medication. Trying to find a way to get over her anxiety without chemically changing who she was, she began teaching herself mixed martial arts from various online sources. This had no positive effect on her disorder but did result in a hyper-fixation for two years, during which she became skilled enough to likely defeat most laymen or poorly trained opponents, should she need to defend herself.
When she finally reached Freshman Year of High-school, her OCD's effects and her general hatred of the schooling system made her unable to pass the classes needed to become a Sophomore. The only two classes she did pass were Biology (Her grade was a B+, solely due to passing tests) and an elective where she learned just enough electrical engineering to be able to put together a rudimentary vpet of her own. (Her grade was a D, barely passing the class despite understanding the material) The next year went similarly until a certain incident. Kari began staying home, not going to school at all. It was also at this time that she accepted her psychiatrist's recommendation to begin taking medication to help with her disorder.
Now put in a "at your own pace" class at a supplementary school, all she had to do was prove understanding of the material. A handful of book reports and countless quizzes for the Literary classes, and just as many tests and essays for the other pillar classes such as Math and Science. No extra credits, homework, or labs were required, which made her able to excel almost immediately. She graduated from her new school on the final day of the school year that she would have normally graduated anyway, had she stayed at the "normal" one and not been held back to begin with.
As a reward for completing what they believed to be an amazing achievement, her parents bought three tickets to Hawaii and booked their daughter her own room in a separate but nearby hotel. When they made her aware of this, Kari strongly protested, having finished her schooling for the sake of hopefully never having to leave her home again. Her parents reasoned that since they had already spent the money, they had to go. But they couldn't leave their seventeen year old daughter alone at home while they went across an ocean to another state. In fact, the only reason they wanted to go themselves was to be in the same relative area if she needed them, or else they would have only booked Kari's flight and hotel in the first place.
Eventually they managed to almost literally drag her onto the plane, and nine hours later they arrived on the island. After helping Kari get settled at her hotel room, her parents left to their own hotel, telling her that since she's almost an adult now and had done so well at her coursework, she should take the opportunity to be left mostly alone and "spread your wings a bit on your own."
After the initial waves of anxiety from the flight and relocation died down and she began to adapt somewhat to her new environment, Kari has mostly returned to her normal state, just with a higher base level of anxiety than usual. Besides, she figures that if worse comes to worst, she can always participate in the age old tradition of hurling herself into a volcano.
Personality: To an outside observer, Kari Black is nothing more than a "weirdo," or at the very least quite strange.
When one first sees her, they would be hard-pressed not to notice the fact that no matter what the temperature may be, she wears a hoodie with its hood up, even in the scorching haze of summer. The more observant may notice that the hoodie in question is faded in multiple spots and smells strongly of bleach and laundry detergent. Those with even more of a keen eye might see a hint of black or sometimes blue just barely jutting out from her hoodie's pockets, the place her hands are almost always resting. Of course, if you put her in a situation where she must remove her hands from her pockets, things become clear; Kari wears medical gloves 23.8 hours out of every day, only taking them off to put a fresh pair on or wash her hands, which while being better than a few years prior, are perpetually dry in places with small pieces of skin ready to fall off in other spot from their years of extreme mistreatment.
Since she never takes off her hoodie unless in the comfort of her own home, (or to either shower or put on a new one) observers would be forgiven for not realizing that what lies beneath them is rather damaged in its own way as well, bearing marks that tell a sad story of self-hatred and hunger. While her physical strength, stamina, and flexibility are each quite high, one would never know it from how she acts, nor from her almost visible rib-cage if they had the opportunity to see under the hoodie.
In fact, one would never know almost anything about her if they based their knowledge on her actions, other than that she is an extreme germaphobe and almost perpetually anxiety-ridden. The clinical diagnosis is severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Luckily, having a diagnosis means she is able to get medication to help, and although it's enough to allow her to actually leave her bedroom and home, there doesn't seem to be a drug cocktail that can quite hold it off enough for her to be willing to try various therapy techniques. And so she stumbles her way through life as best she can, having given up on her dreams and nearly thrown away her ideals after the life she has lived stomped them into the dirt where she could never reach or touch them again.
The end result of Kari's life is a girl who cannot stand to be in physical contact with another animal if she can avoid it, who feels that she must endure the heat and cold of the seasons in a singular type of outfit and ruin her own body lest she be contaminated, and who jumps and runs away every time someone near her so much as clears their throat. Despite this, however, Kari will still pick verbal fights with anyone and everyone who angers her, which is to say most people.
Whether in spite of or because of her tendency to insult those she dislikes, those who she is able to interact with online, where her disorder is negligible to the point of near nonexistence, believe her to be a least somewhat wise. The truth is that this perceived wisdom comes from two main sources: manga and the lyrics of songs she likes. With a wide array of interests within these two sources it occasionally might seem like she has an answer to any situation. This illusion also benefits from a former extreme interest in philosophy, which has mostly died down since Middle-school.
Ultimately, Kari is a person who gets angry quickly, depressed easily, and bears a strong resentment towards the world around her. However, she has little ill will towards the average person since they can only add their own small efforts to the world they live in, unless they anger her personally. As a whole though, this deep-seated anger is directed solely at the sum of its parts. After all, if you add up countless little irritations, what else would the result be but hatred?

Digimon Character Sheet
Name: Hyokomon
Nickname: Sora
Age: Half a Year (6.25 months)
Physical Description:

Short Bio: From the first day she spent as a Child stage digimon, the digimon that would one day be named Sora has felt the insurmountable need to complete a musha shugyō, her personal quest as a samurai, deeply in her very code. She spent the past five months since then training herself to the limit of her endurance for most of each day, spending the remainder resting and enjoying life as much as she could. Whether healthy, sick, or injured, whether through sun, rain, or wind, Sora trained herself in the usage of her sword.
As a vagrant she traveled as far as she could, though this was not as far as she'd like, seeking to spar against the strongest digimon to learn from them. Unfortunately, she has not met any digimon beyond the Adult stage other than one, which refused to spar with her even when she attacked it with her full force. She did not manage to do any damage whatsoever and became depressed for a time. The only good thing to come of the interaction, as far as Hyokomon was concerned, was that the Perfect stage digimon bestowed a new goal on the Child staged bird: "Go beyond the highest mountains of skill, to reach the very sky above your limits. Outshine the sun."
It was during this depressive episode, as she was mulling over the Perfect's words, that she had her first interaction with a human. Seeing that human fight, Sora requested a sparring match in return for saving them from the foe that it was struggling to truly defeat. The resulting match showed her that even though she was armed against an unarmed opponent, she could still be defeated if she wavered. It also was the match that reignited the spark of passion in her heart, and so she dedicated herself to that human as samurai to a shogun.
Now that her shogun has learned of the various threats to not only her own world, but also Sora's and countless others, Sora has begun a new musha shugyō: to save the various worlds alongside the Tamer that granted Hyokomon her new name.
Personality: Much as expected for one of its species, Sora wishes for nothing more than to be a master of the sword; a true samurai. As such she views her Tamer as her Shogun, and tries her best to obey the orders she is given, even if she is misguided sometimes in how she executes them.
While not in combat Sora is a bit of an airhead unless her Shogun tells her to do something and specifies it as an order. In combat, however, Sora is intensely focused and enjoys the thrill of battle even when she believes her life is in danger. But threaten her Shogun and she will lose all mirth, ruthlessly destroying any who do so, choosing to crush the enemy completely and mercilessly.
Powers: - Cleaving Cut; brings down the blade it carries with incredible force upon the opponent. - Halving Cleave; a version of Cleaving Cut that is dead center down the middle of an opponent, causing vertical bisection. - Sword Secret: Chirping Slice; an irreplicable technique in which Hyokomon slices twice in such quick succession that they seem to be as one movement. While still in its infancy as a technique, Chirping Slice approaches the level of its true form: Tsubame Gaeshi. (Swallow Reversal)
Pururumon: -Techniques: -- Bubble Blow; shoots bubble-like substances from its mouth.
Chicchimon: - Info: -- Its future evolutions (barring one) cannot use its attacks, only Chicchimon itself can use either of them. - Techniques: -- Frothy Spit; shoots slightly acidic bubbles from its mouth. -- Petit Holy Flare; gathers light energy to a point within its sight, which then explodes.
Hyokomon: - Info: -- While two of its attacks are taken from Wikimon, Halving Cleave is its signature technique in Digmon Story: Lost Evolution, and Chirping Slice's description is custom but based on Buraimon's signature attack. -- Hyokomon's future forms can use all three of its attacks as well, should they want to.
Buraimon: - Info: -- While technically only having one canon attack, I added some custom ones and to the description of the canon signature attack. - Techniques: -- Swallow Duet Reverse; the true form of Chirping Slice, expanded three-fold. This attack strikes three times simultaneously, once with each of its two blades. The timing of the two twin techniques is variable, making it extremely dangerous. -- Horizon of the Blade; a Halving Cleave with each sword, one vertically and one horizontally, resulting in an opponent being cut into four perfectly equal quadrants. -- Angular Horizon of the Blade; a reverse of the Horizon of the Blade technique, this version starts the same as its sibling but results in a different attack. Halfway through the swing with each sword, the blades are brought into curving trajectories, one towards Buraimon and one away, meeting in the center of the target and creating a burst of wind, cutting down the foe on a hit and blowing them backwards on a miss.
Butenmon: - Info: -- Buraimon's techniques can, against all logic, be used by its Perfect stage form, in spite of requiring two swords to use them and it having only one. Thus is the result of true mastery of the blade. -- Similarly to Buraimon, Butenmon has custom attacks added to its two canon ones, which were both expanded on somewhat. -Techniques -- Dance of the Sun; rotates its massive sword as if drawing a circle, slashing a singular point repeatedly as it spins towards it. -- Dawn Light Flash; with its shining sword clad in holy energy, it cleaves the opponent in two. Unlike Halving Cleave, this attack can come from any direction and does not necessarily leave equal-sized pieces of the target. -- Morning Glory; infuses its armor with the same holy energy as Dawn Light Flash, greatly increasing its stopping power, integrity, and Butenmon's speed.
Chronomon Holy Mode: - Info: -- While holding the title of Super Ultimate in canon, this particular one does not, due to the various universes involved being different. -- Despite not holding the Super Ultimate title, this stage has extreme requirements from its Tamer to be able to be reached at all, and worse still to maintain it for even a moment. Its true weakness is its Tamer's heart and willpower. -- Even though it does not have a blade, it is able to use its previous forms' attacks. This includes Chicchimon's. -- Despite what may be assumed, Sora has the potential to not only use either form interchangeably, but also to Slide Evolve between them, should its Tamer be capable enough. -- No custom techniques were added for this stage itself. - Techniques: -- Holy Flare; uses holy purification to summon light and flames that eliminate everything. -- Chronos Crop; swings its holy wings like a brush, sweeping away evil.
Chronomon Destroy Mode: - Info: -- While holding the title of Super Ultimate in canon, this particular one does not, due to the various universes involved being different. -- Similarly to Holy Mode, reaching this form and maintaining it have an immense strain on its Tamer. Unlike Holy Mode this form actively harms the human, both mentally and physically, and could result in extreme damage to the Tamer if Chronomon stays in Destroy Mode for long. -- Destroy Mode is capable of using all of its former forms' attacks, except for Chicchimon's. -- Despite what may be assumed, Sora has the potential to not only use either form interchangeably, but also to Slide Evolve between them, should its Tamer be capable and foolhardy enough. -Techniques: -- (Enough to require an image) --
