Once upon a time the world of Aule was a place of wonder. Elves, Dwarves, Orcs and what not were dominant upon its land. Many kingdoms and empires lived in a constant state of peace vs war, each claiming different resources as their own, fighting over it and eventually declaring peace only to start again many years afterwards. But all that ended as Aule was unmade in a single night. The Storm, a cataclysm without name or warning, descended from the sky and tore the world apart. Mountains crumbled into dust, rivers turned backwards, and seas swallowed entire continents. The old empires vanished beneath the waves or were leveled into ruin by winds strong enough to flay stone.
When the skies finally cleared, nothing remained. The stars themselves seemed to have moved, and even the magic that once bound the world died with it. Now, decades later, the races of Aule have emerged back into the world. Scattered tribes, wandering fleets, and city-states have reclaimed the lands they once knew.
Strangely, the Storm didn’t only cause the world to end but for new life to appear. It’s currently unknown how these new races appeared, be it mutation or simple evolution but many new creatures, some sentient and benevolent, some ravenous and dangerous, have appeared to roam the lands of Aule.
This is their tale.

I won’t bore you with details about myself but know I’ve been in the NRP business for over 5 years now and been part of some amazing roleplays, @Tortoise ran most of them and now it’s time for my own debut after the players of my last roleplay were itching for a fantasy RP.
After the Storm it’s a roleplay about discovery. Our nations are roughly newly established nations formed from the survivors of the old world or the new races that appeared in the world of Aule, unseen before. The world they knew doesn’t exist anymore. Whom they knew is gone and others have taken their place.
Important notes:
This is a medieval fantasy roleplay set in the shattered world of Aule, an age after the great Storm that broke the continents and ended the old kingdoms. Before the Storm, Aule stood at a level much like the 12th century of our own medieval history.
What happened afterwards is for you to decide. I'm allowing tech levels to be anywhere from the early Iron Age to the very end of the Medieval Age.
