I believe that it would best be left to a roll or something because it is unfair to have someone dictate what another character can or cannot do. But I am fine with whatever going forward.

Well I rolled for Act Under Pressure so I imagine it must be that she followed him until he shifted, and then she probably freaked out a bit and lost him, which answers the question on if she saw anything. But I'll leave it up to our wonderful GM

In this context, if we're handling both her finding out your transformation and trying to stay unnoticed by you, then you've discovered her. However, you've already dashed off to hunt down the source of the scent, so I don't know what can come of that particularly right now.

Tiffany, I would say, did see your body morph and tear itself apart to grow bone blades. How she handles that sight is up to her.

We might be open for recruiting at this rate. Think we still got a few that haven't posted but it is still full swing on the holiday season.

Passable Writer is still aiming for Sunday/Monday to post. I want to give it at least a few days for Tokyo, just in case their ban gets lifted. As for the others that haven't seemingly been around, again, I'll give it some time. It is the holiday season, so I'm being more lenient on responses. We'll see if that becomes a detriment.

I apologize if it seems like I went radio silent. This week got super busy for me. I hope to make a response soon.

The NPC speaks sensibly—if there's a no loitering sign, there's a no loitering sign—and as far as I can tell you've given her no due cause to find any of this dubious. She presently has no good reason to distract herself from her personal quest to assist with this missing persons search, for instance; but nor would she arouse attention and possibly suspicion by openly flaunting the town's statutes, even the small, frivolous ones.

It's unlike me to ask a GM to throw me a bone OOC but I'm genuinely unsure whether I'm supposed to try and Charm this character, or whether this whole library setup was a convoluted way to move me to the diner locale from the beginning.

Libraries might contain records about the surrounding area. Marion seems the type to want to search for information regarding the region, especially with the area surrounding Lamplight. This person, perhaps evident through his age, might have lived here for some time. She could try to charm him into letting her into the library, could ask him questions about the town or about Lamplight or even about the disappearance of Clara Mathews. Hell, if she's skilled enough, she could just try to break into the library after he's already gone inside. There's always some sort of information to find, a lead to chase, a choice to make.

To address, no, the library was not a convoluted setup to move her to the diner. If handled in a right enough way, Marion stands to learn something very important. Now, if she moves to the diner after or later, that's on her, but this is the janitor pushing on her existence in this spot as a way of wanting to be left alone. How Marion parses the type of person he is and what she does about it, we'll see soon enough.
