Short Bio: Shotaro had everything.
His parents gave him love and care, he scored well in school, even his diagnosis as 'not quite normal' by his childhood therapist didn't faze him much; he just played to an invisible script, and friends came to him. Everything was warm. Everything was friendly. Everything was light and hope and dreams.
Shotaro lost everything.
His parents went off on a business trip abroad, leaving him in the care of a trusted neighbor. The next thing he knew, he was watching footage of a plane crash, anxiously waiting for news of their survival on the television.
There was no such news, only ashes and a funeral, where, among the white flowers, he received his relatives' assurances of support and shared grief.
He believed them; he was just a kid!
One of his Uncles took him from his neighbor over the latter's vociferous objections. That Uncle took him to New Amakusa City, promising to keep him safe and happy. This was true, as Shotaro received a lot of toys and books, and video games - His Uncle must be loaded, to be able to afford those while working only from home!
Now, Shotaro is happy, maybe a little spoiled, but he has new classes, new friends, and new clubs. Maybe he'll study to be an entrepreneur like his parents; start a start-up! His Uncle can pay for that, right?
One day, he'll ask his Uncle for money to do that. But for now, time to keep having fun.
...It is a shame that, thanks to his Uncle, his trust fund is almost dry; there was no job that man was working from home in.
He had quit that to live off his nephew's inheritance.
Personality: An honest, fun-loving kid who is enthusiastic to the point of hyperactivity, and prone to hype up his own skills at water pistols and most everything else. Friendly and kind, Shotaro also hides his grief behind a smiling face while trusting people too easily. And by that, he does not look before leaping, and thus can be used by others. He is also given to the easy generosity of someone who already has a lot... Or thinks he does.
Skills: He hypes up his skills in water pistols, but Shotaro's real gifts are in photography, music, and, surprisingly for someone with such delicate hands, metalworking, where he is surprisingly tolerant of sharp objects and fire.
