Consider this a simple interest gauge. Nothing is currently concrete.
_______________

______________

Long ago, the Gods gave to Man a seat of power. They who claimed the Throne were given two things: the blessing of the divine and dominion over Man. For a while, peace and prosperity reigned, but there were those influenced by higher beings to seek the power of the Throne for themselves. This resulted in a terrible war, in which the Gods—once hands-off in their governance of mortalkind—were forced to intervene. Their sheer presence upon the soil resulted in cataclysmic destruction, and so they were made to flee from their creations. However, one refused to leave, forcing themselves into the minds of Man. The other Gods, fearing the obliteration of their children, returned to dispose of their wayward sibling, and this one battle would result in the Divine Banishment, an event that would see the death of the Gods' eldest member.

The Throne, eternal in its existence, was consumed by the land and, eventually, forgotten. History trudged on, and civilizations rose and fell upon its slumbering form, burying it deeper still. Mortalkind has continued living despite the absence of their holy parentage, unaware of the legacy that was left behind.

But, there are those who have learned of the Throne's history, of its strength, and so they wander the land in search of its location, all for the chance to reign over mankind and receive even a modicum of divine power, for even a tiny amount would make a mortal stronger than all the greatest warriors to ever live, combined.

Eternal Throne is a fantasy RP with semi-grimdark elements. Explore the lands of the world of Makyos and encounter friend and foe alike as you search for the titular seat of power. Aim to thwart and deter those who seek its infinite influence, or take the Throne for yourself and claim dominion over all of Man. Beware—with the Gods having vanished, power is fleeting. Only with their return—or their rebirth—will you gain the blessing of the divine and, perhaps, reign forever.

This interest check is not official. It is something made as a way to gauge interest for the actual check in the future. What you see here is not detailed, and not final, but the general gist of the RP is the same.

Currently in progress. The actual interest check will have more information about the Gods, the world of Makyos and its regions, the magic system of the world (admittedly vague and bare-boned as of right now), and more information on the various antagonists who all have some vested interest in the finding the Throne; there are several. There's probably more info I'm blanking on right now—and info I can't share until the actual campaign.

How much PvP is intended, if any? Just curious, cause it doesn't seem intended for PCs to be allies, but not sure if they're meant to be enemies either.

I want to preface this by saying that I don't know exactly where I stand on the PvP front, but if I do decide on including PvP within the actual campaign, how much of it is dependent on the choices of the player characters within. I have a storyline in mind if I decide PvP isn't the play, but alternatively, this campaign could function like a pseudo-sandbox, where I—as the DM—introduce and progress story elements when they're called for, but I would ultimately let the players develop their own stories in the wake of searching for the Eternal Throne.

To reiterate and answer your question more concisely: there's a non-zero chance that I decide to remove PvP for the most part, that all PCs are meant to be allies (or maybe even enemies should the desire for power become too great, such is the way of the Throne). There's also a chance that PvP is intended after all, with a VERY CLEAR WARNING that your character can (and might) die, and that you should be 100% fine with it happening.

Right now, I'm currently unsure.

Alright, I'm curious to see what you decide. My personal preference is no PvP (especially if character death could be a consequence of it, seems that could foster player conflict or grudges, which I'm not keen on).
