I would not worry too much about that, but if you want to be as accurate as possible, I will not stop you. But what I have found is that a Minoan foot is 303.6 millimeters.

So basically their foot was the same as ours (American)?
oh, also we can speak/understand what they saw but what about their written word?
Alright, my first attempt at innovating, tell me if its good or if you think I'm pushing it.
<Snipped quote by TruckKun>
It is slightly off, since one Minoan foot does not equal one American foot.
I think yes to both, but you are starting to confuse me. What do you mean by speak/understand what they saw?
<Snipped quote by Theyra>
I meant what they say not saw.
So we can read and write their language?
<Snipped quote by TruckKun>
Read yes, write... yes, but only once you have read said language.

Side note, good posts so far and after talking to some people. I have been thinking about how people get resources for their civ. I am going to be more lenient with what resources show up. Like perhaps resources showing up, like after weather changes, exposing surface deposits. Like a small amount that you can get to work with and ease starting locations resources. Which would encourage people to look for more deposits. This is not to say, you can find trees in a desert or elephants in the UK. But, something more RP friendly and workable, and what do you all think of this?

100%, like I already said I think it's also realistic to expect some resources to simply have been depleted in time so of course we wouldn't have all the records, etc.
THAT BEING SAID... Do you mind if then I return to my original northern Italian claim? Moving to Sardinia was exactly because of 'ugh, I don't want to bother searching for everything so I'll just go with something that has a good cross section of historical resources' so if possible I'd go with my original idea.
<Snipped quote by Wernher>
You can go back to your original location, but I will say this will be the last time you can swap.
<Snipped quote by Theyra>
Eh, I mean I already posted so nvm.
Edit: I mean, unless this counts as me flip flopping again, your choice, ultimately I dont think it matters much either way.

Im fine with this because i think that my civ already has a buncha resources due to trade, and i think it could be fun
