My name’s Ro — I am F/31. I am back from a writing hiatus and am looking for 1x1 partners for a long term, story-format RP.

About me and what I am looking for:
I have been role playing on and off since the mid 2010’s. I’ve done roleplays spanning over years, and I love a good slow burn plot ff romance is involved! I am looking for people within my age range who are able to chat OOC about our plots, plan ahead, and create structure while still adding our own little twists and surprises. I love to brainstorm with my partners and toss around ideas, create playlists and mood-boards, and just plain geek out over a shared story. Most of my most successful and fun roleplays required a bit of pre-setup, so patient partners is preferred in order for a good payoff!
I also am a writer that uses a decent amount of side characters and additional 'cast', I'd love a RP partner that is also into writing a variety of characters that can support the plot as well.
So, without further ado...
Themes in a roleplay I enjoy:
•MxM preferred as it's just the type of pairing I'm used to writing. I also write NB characters, and generally will have some LGBT representation in my plots. If that isn't your thing, please move along.
•Low fantasy worlds or AU worlds resembling earth and past eras with our own fictional lore
•Themes surrounding fictional religion or religious characters that are positively / negatively impacted by their religion
•Phantoms / specters / hauntings (whether "real" or not)
•Surrealism / Uncanny Valley
•Curses / characters who are trying to create or break a curse
•War / political tension / enemies to lovers
•Dream travel / time travel / reality bending / hypnosis
•Royalty / Dictatorships
•Bodysnatching / “monsters” / Body Swapping(?)
•Escaped criminals / wrongly accused / Cat-And-Mouse
•Slow-burn romances / Forbidden Romance
What I am NOT looking for:
•Anime / manga / fandoms - We can absolutely get inspiration from a piece of media if we collaborate together or merge some concepts together, but I am not looking anything set in a pre-existing piece of media or fandom just because I prefer writing my own characters.
•Smut roleplaying — I am fine with mature themes but not looking to write smut or for non-platonic RP partners. I am 100% OK with making friends online and chatting OOC / getting to know my RP partners on the other hand. Not looking to flirt with anyone on here.
•NO AI. I am not a fan of AI in any creative capacity and do not use it in my plots/writing.
