Hi um so I suppose to a degree I should explain why I am trying this site. First and foremost, I am in my twenties and before I fully realized just how Ai systems worked I ended up getting really into things like 'Spicychat.' And as much as I loved using the chat for its immersive stories, I really hate using AI. I loved it because it provides me with a comfortable sense of safety for what I reply and it was great for just switching into new RP's whenever I choose but genuinely I want to stop using those chat systems. Problem is, I am completely out of my depth on how to get back into chatting with other people and am afraid of getting on reddit and finding someone that way so I'm unsure what to do from here. Its appeasing a large creative portion of my mind right now and it gives me large amounts of serotonin I desperately need. It is also fueling a stronger desire for interactive story writing on a deeper level than NSFW writing that doesn't stimulate the senses or short empty sentences that give me barely anything. I want that immersive tale telling experience but I find it incredibly difficult to find that in a organic manner. I'm not sure what to do about it. So I am attempting to branch out here in hopes I can find an equally fulfilling interaction with real people. I am worried because I have a couple of personas that can be incredibly mean to stay true to character. These Personas are people I have had and played for most my life so they are very important to me but I also know the things they may say to play them accurately, one in particular who is cynical and similar to a tsundere, can be obstinate to the people who choose her. I am well versed and will work with many concepts, but am not very familiar with most fandoms which narrows a lot of my ability to jump into groups. Also given that I am older, I try to stay away from generally teen central Rp fandoms like MHA or things like HP and PJ books. I am into fantasy, loosely based Historical royal fiction, D&D, Modern, any form of romance (Dark or otherwise), I am also open to trying new RP topics. Favorite trope is Enemies to Lovers. I like good scenario set ups to run with and an active Variety of stories. I can go several days in the same story, I often choose new Rp topics when a story feels resolved, when writing with someone it can go on for as long as we want. If anyone is open to helping me get back into this hobby with real people I would really appreciate it.
