Aside from Legendary Pokémon (and Mythicals), pseudo-Legendaries, and unevolved Pokémon, you're free to choose any on the roster, so long as you start them at level 5.

You can finally start with a Dunsparce! Or an Abra. Or Magikarp. If you're wondering how a newbie trainer would function with those two, I'll just say this: you can get creative with your moves, so long as you show a proper amount of development of course.

I know I answered two questions here, but this is for those wondering how a Trainer and their partner Pokémon would fight with non-damaging moves.

For all intents and purposes, yes. Sure, maybe you've participated in mock battles or something, but everyone here is as green as they're going to get.

As for the age range of these new trainers... 16 to 20 is what we are aiming for.

So keep that in mind for when you're making a character for this roleplay.

Yes!... somewhat. I'm fine tuning it a bit to get it ready for everyone. The irony of not having said application is not lost on me, considering Camphor's job posting.

I know I say if you want to, but we would prefer for you to have your character from here, though we don't mind if they come from out of the region. Heck, maybe they moved to Eidda from another region at some point or another.
