Time for a redo on my interest master-post.

I prefer smaller groups, I don't play with anyone under 18; the closer you are to my age, the better (I'm 40).

here are some ideas, in list form, and over time I'll add or remove things from the list:

-Scars of Frankenstein (castlevania inspired)
-Target: Earth! (a body snatchers/war of the worlds, "Invasion/Infiltration" kind of setting)
-High Fantasy, But Old West (self explanatory)
-Pirates of Dark Tides (Pirates of Dark Water, but with zombies)
-Van-pires (an existing 90's property that had no business being as [awesomely] bad as it was, an rp this would be taking the name and premise while ignoring the continuity, essentially a do-over. The premise is "What if Transformers, but Dark Stalkers?")
-Dinosaur Island (pretty generic and obvious, some people are stranded on an island with dinosaurs and have to survive long enough to either be rescued or otherwise find a way to escape)
-No Gods; Only Monsters (Urban Fantasy; nobody knows for sure just what is going on but, for lack of a better description, the gods seem to have collectively turned their gaze elsewhere. The monsters, once largely instruments of the divine powers, somehow remain, feeling their absence, and are just as confused as the mortals are...)

Maybes:
Isekai

Hard No's:
SoL (it's fine as a genre; I even like a couple of titles, I just don't enjoy it for roleplay)
Mafia/anything that screams "toxic pairing"
Crossover Characters (I don't care how much you love MLP or whatever, you can't shoehorn your OC into EVERY genre or setting. This also applies to Furries/Furry Adjacent)
"Pizza Cutter" Edgelords (All edge; no point)
Grimdark (see Edgelords)

Deal Breakers:
If your interest is dependent on getting exactly what you want, we are not compatible.
If you can't be bothered to read, you picked the wrong hobby.

I'm pretty easy going regarding how much somebody writes in a given post; give me something to work with, sure, but don't give me something novel length if you don't actually have that much in the way of ideas, and there's a special place in hell for people who make novel length posts that don't even move the scene forward. If I'm reading a lot, than a lot should be happening.

Well I can't say for others, but I'm potentially interested in a few things on your current interest list namely "High Fantasy, But Old West", "Dinosaur Island", and while it's more of a potential here, I'd be willing to give "Isekai." So, between the 2 of you, thankfully, there seems to be an overlap of interest!

Between "Fantasy Western", and whatever Isekai I come up with apparently (Isekai is a broad category, even if like me you don't count time travel), what would you choose?

(We rp like warriors; no fence sitting "Oh, I'm ok with what the other players pick" nonsense, there's only 2 of you, and only 2 choices, pick one! >:( )

Fantasy Western (since you seemed I want to do it more anyway. And I agree in not counting time travel as isekai, it doesn't even really count as transmigration)

I also have interest in a fantasy western. I tried to do one with my in-person dnd group, but I'm the only one who's actually into westerns as a genre, and it isn't the same when everyone else just wants to be a knight lol.

Well I guess if that makes three, then that also makes at least two of three votes for fantasy western, so Fantasy Western it is.

I'll see about an OOC by the weekend, Monday at the latest.

Update: I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to start another rp, at this time, afterall.

Sorry for the late reply, I was busy yesterday. It's a shame you won't be able to start an RP but when you can I'd certainly be interested. I hope things go better for you soon.
