I purposefully didn't have Tilly react and make notes on every single character present, because frankly, with the Lab being home to now... 15+ characters (including NPCs), at the same time, that would've made the post unreasonably large. Not to mention, as has been established, Tilly doesn't really pay attention to stuff that don't interest her - this includes people. Feel free to chat her up if you do want to interact though, she won't ignore you.

Besides that, she doesn't exactly have names to put to faces and appearances, so it'd just be her describing (mentally to herself) what everybody else looks like.

But yea, it wasn't until your post that I realized there really have a ton of people doing this job. Hope Camphor's wallet can keep up with all the catching and registering that will be going on.

Also, I do kinda love the idea of Tilly breaking out into song just to mess with Camphor. Camphor just walks in to see a whole musical number going on.

Not sure what to do for my next post yet though, so I think I'll wait (have some ideas, but nothing concrete).

Funnily enough, I know that word cause I have two British coworkers who have now added "Maccies" to my vocabulary whenever I find myself thinking about McDonalds. Among other things.

I just completely misread that as song and thought that Tilly was about to drop some sick beats on all of us.

But it'd actually have all these regional differences lead to various funny misunderstandings in terms of dialect or language choices.

Be it Kanto or Jhoto folks (and perhaps by some extension Alola due to its close ties with Kanto) sometimes using different names for Pokemon / Moves (the Japanese ones) or certain "Galarian" vernacular. Among other things unique to other regions.

It kinda does make me wonder how linguistics work in the world of Pokemon if every region uses the same language or how big the world actually is.

EDIT: Although it would be kinda difficult to have to try and translate things in posts constantly. Now that I think more on it.

The only real reason I gave Tilly a 'britsh' accent (or fake/faux one, rather) is because of Sword and Shield, where - unlike every other Pokémon game - your mother is called "Mum" instead of "Mom". :P
