Here's a simple hexmap. Just tell me what hexes you've claimed, either by posting the numbers or filling in the map yourself. Each hex will roughly represent a parsec, but not every hex has a star, so you may end up with some empty hexes as part of your territory. I'd recommend selecting which hexes have systems you control, first, and then connecting them with empty hexes.

EDIT: You can open the image in a new tab for better zooming. Right-click.

When you finish your WIP nation sheet, remember to post or PM so I know to review and accept it.

WIP

Faction Name: Gearshift
Faction Type: Contested Planetary Body/Anarchy/Theocratic Technocracy
Species: Highlanders
The term 'Highlander' is a catch-all label for the many sub-species of Humanity native to the wasteland world of Gearshift
Scale and Territory: Brief overview of major bodies in the faction’s control and general information on their area of influence. Include a scale rating based on the chart in the Scale hider.
Culture: Dominant culture of the faction, such as religion and social mannerisms. You may also want to include details on how the government is run and the influences the culture/government has on faction’s species, economy, and territory.
History: A summary of the faction’s origins and major events involving the faction
Technology:

Gearshift's weapons technology is rather basic, though unusually-advbanced given the world's brutal history. Roarers, the designation given to the savage dust storms inherent to Gearshift's biosphere, make some types of technology impossible to utilize on her surface, such as laser weapons, particle weaponry, flying machines that make use vulnerable (such as jet-powered fighters or helicopters), motion trackers, radar systems

Military Forces: Completely in the air, honestly. The number of Bestia Mechanicae, Ferrum Hominis and Rex Oceanus on Gearshift is unknown, while no one is in a particular hurry to gauge the martial prowess of the world's raider groups, cults, towns, villages, and underground bunkers. Eternal-Holds, however, typcially play host to a substantional amount of defending gun inplacements

If anybody else is interested in collaborating with me for some sort of plot, let me know! The I-Sphere is fairly versatile, but I'm a big fan of culture clash stuff.

I selected a few hexes, and am going to update my sheet with them momentarily. If anyone is wondering, the reason why I placed all of the star systems of the Synch so close together like that is because of the nature of their inhabited region, in that they live inside a nebulae, so the density of stars will be much greater there than outside the nebulae. A thing to note about the nebulae, is that it is what's known as a dark nebulae, and winds around the stars of the region and forms a large cloud around the region. Due to the age of the region, many of the stars the Synch are inhabiting are late-stage stars, either some form of pulsar/magnetar, or red giant.

Speaking of Earth. Even though my faction would literally have nothing to do with the planet, we do have several human societies, so it would be interesting to know what happened to that little mud-ball ._. At least for those who are playing the pinkies xD

Welp, I said huge, and FUCKHUEG is what I went for.

The large blue sphere with the hazard line box is earth.

Blue circles are 'Populi' worlds, planets that were 'glassed' from orbit to clear indigenous life to make way for enormous hab-complexes to stash lots and lots of people. The Terrans get most of their recruits from these worlds.

Green circles are 'Agri' worlds, worlds designed entirely for farming, so that they may provide the fucktons of food this empire requires.

Black and dark yellow boxes are mining worlds, ones that 'core' various rocks out for valuable materials, and double as industrial centers. Many worlds in many systems have been utterly destroyed, and many of these are actually in asteroid fields. Almost all imperial systems have some sort of industrial/mining operation, but the marked ones are the extremely important ones.

While enormous, the Terran empire is spread extremely thin, and can only bring but fraction of its might to bear upon any foe, thus their original plan of rapid expansion has slowed down and is now focused almost entirely on securing current lands. Most of their armed forces are also currently employed on the internal zones as 'peacekeepers.'

Finished my sheet. To compensate for the enormous territory, they are currently at their most vulnerable as approval and military forces are at an all-time low.
