Sam laughed at what his mother said and looked at Bella and some how her dog eyes got to her and she gave her a piece of her food while Andre and his mother was not looking.
But then she started weeping bitterly, uncontrollably. "Oh God, no, no, no!" "Mom? What's wrong?" Andre stood. "It's your father. He... died in an accident."
Sam froze when she heard that for she could not believe that at all. She may have found out he was the reason her parents were dead but she learned to forgive him since he let her stay at their place and took care of her. Sam would have never wished this on him especially not on Andre.
Andre started shaking. "That can't be true," he said. "Not Dad. He's the best. Stuff like that doesn't happen to him!" "He is the best," his mother agreed. "But another trucker carrying oil collided with his semi... a spark set off the gas..." But Andre left the table, running downstairs as fast as he could. Soon he could be heard crying bitterly.
Sam got up and ran after him. She knew what he was going theough since she lost both of her parents. She walked into his room and saw him crying and it did break her heart to see him like this. She walked up slwoly to him and wrapepd her arms around him to let him know she was there for him.
Andre cried harder and longer than he'd ever cried before, wrapping his arms around Sam's waist for mental support. The dogs were upstairs trying to comfort his mother.
Sam did not let go of Andre at all for she knew he needed this. For she wanted someone to do this for her when she found out but her grandparents never did even her kind grandfather never did it. But she was going to be there for him at least.
Soon Andre had fallen asleep. It was a deep, dreamless sleep, the type that one has when they're both physically and mentally exhausted. Even as he slept, his head was on Sam's lap, his arms wrapped around her.
Sammy ran her fingers through his hair as he slept not caring that he was club to her. All she wanted was to be there for him and do what she can do. Sam started humming a little while running her fingers through his hair hoping it will help sooth him.
