We have built up a tolerance to the cold, like many people in southern states build a tolerance to the heat.

I love every last one of the ninety different degrees my city can get to. Over a hundred if you include wind chill.

Actually, come to think of it, I could do without the last ten degrees on the warm side and the last fifteen or so on the cold. Everything in moderation.

It's been floating and minus 30 Celsius for the past week here.

When it gets up to minus 18, I have to open my coat because I'm so used to the harsh temperatures.

Seriously, it kind of sucks when the temperature swings like 10-20 degrees in a day.

I love cold temperatures on cloudless sunny day! There just has to be snow on the ground. A lot of snow.

Here, we've been having bipolar weather. One half of the week it would be skirting on freezing (yes, I'm a pansy when it comes to the cold. I know). The other half of the weed we would be damn near 80F(27C). During the summers, it's usually near 100 -110 (38-43).

I know right? My area is probably going to have to water ration in the summer. We're already in a drought and it's not raining much if at all and the state won't deliver us our water so... We're going to mummify.
:/ It's probably only like 60 F here during the day, if that low.

It's ain't being a badass. -10 out in Alberta is like, T-shirt weather. It's nothing. -18 is coat territory, but not closed, -22 to -24 though....something changes. Shit gets cold, fast. -30 is ugly, and I have yet to experience -40 (And I really don't want to....)

You Southern BC Canucks are an inspiration to us all. XD

-40 is rather unhappy. So far, I've only seen that with windchill, but that makes it sooo much worse. >_>
