I'm sure you can come up with something that will amuse the two overlords that are watching you. He and I were excited to have dead bodies sprinkled in the village in case sakurasan left the game, and were disappointed when she came back with no post.

We're still not sure if we can use her character and kill it; certainly I don't mind substitutes in her place.

I was deciding about that. I think I won't count your weapons and armour (if any) as long as your avatars are wearing them. It makes no sense to limit what you carry on body since there's an inventory slot acting as a bag.

Since sakurasan came back but is still postless, I'm not sure if it's okay to wait for her. If she is adamant on returning, I have a post that possibly links you four together. I'm feeling merciful, so I'm letting you guys choose.

Personally I wanted to have a corpse to accompany Blueflame's avatar. My co-GM said it was tasteful. That was 15 minutes before she posted, though.

I'm not pinning the weight of the decision on you since the ultimate verdict is still mine to declare. Just want to know your thoughts, which the other players are free to input.

For one, I'm not amused. I would have let her ghost on me with not much grumbling, then my friend urged me to trace her recent posts - I am not amused, I affirm.

I kinda want to get the combat round out of the way so I can do one post. That way if it turns into a whiff-fest that takes forever to resolve it can be summarized.

The only way to summarise combat is when you collab in a party, which is why I encouraged you to team up - the "you" is generalised.

It's a tabletop, so we're doing it turn-based a la Final Fantasy. Why else would we bother with stats, right? Because even 5 more points in an attribute can possibly be changing for the tides.

I bribe them for loyalty like a pouper with some of my dinner. Salmon, ice cream, steamed saltwater fishies, shoestring fries, deskinned KFC, and kitty food. Oh, and cold milk.

They also sleep with me whenever they please. The kitty smell must have stuck, so they feel safe with me around.

You'd think it's fun to walk a cat, until they attract strays that wanna woohoo, and before you know it, you look like a premature crazy cat lady to your neighbourhood.

Anyway I am familiar with how most PnP RPGs operate. What I'm not familiar with, is specifically your rule set and its operation.

Right so I'm gonna assume that perk for Rangers means I don't ever need to worry about initiative, and Perception is the to-hit roll stat it seems. So is there a damage roll? What die type are we using?

Also what does a Nekh look like?

If you don't like the system and begrudge about it, the door is open. I'm not even being passive aggressive here; the offer is just there because I don't believe in locking a player in a game they don't enjoy.

A Nekh is nearby; you would encounter it eventually. I specifically and repeatedly tried to hint for you to be with a group, so while questing you can interact with other characters, but no, you strayed. That's fine. I bend my back to allow freedom because going according to the book word by word is boring, right?

I however will not tolerate your time and again comments that single out my "rule set and operation", with implications that it's not according to the norm and thus is inferior.

I'd like to clarify that there is no universal rule a tabletop formula should follow aside from common sense. It is not as though I randomly give you numbers to work with either. Again, I said already I am simplifying the overview for behind-the-scenes combat calculation, both to cater those who wish to write more instead of choppy single paragraphs and those that are new to tabletop roleplay (in other words, unfamiliar with numbers enforced into the system).

I use a RNG. Does that sate your curiosity?
