Great! I'm glad you think the same! So here's what I had thinking...

Shay and Vera visit the couple through an arrangement by Mr. Tindall, as he knows they have the painting. They trust Tindall, and he uses the reasoning/excuse that Shay and Vera are a high-class/status couple that are looking to acquire new paintings for their home, and heard they may have some suggestions by giving examples of their own vast collection. While they have a light luncheon discussing the finesse of paintings and famous painters (a very boring conversation as I would imagine) the couple agrees to take Shay and Vera for a tour of their house (something like a ridiculously rich manor), on their tour, Vera and the man/husband go to check out his private collection as she expressed interest in these paintings. Shay carries on the tour with the woman, scoping the place out.

Meanwhile, Vera asks for a glass of something to drink, giving her time to browse the paintings, confirming the presence of the desired painting by Mr. Tindall, as she's rummaging around the room, perhaps the husband's private study, she founds his calendar for the rest of the week, and notes that the couple will be out of the house on a certain date for a dinner party. That gives Shay and Vera time to come back to the house, perhaps at night, and steal the painting. I would imagine that the wife would take Shay on a tour of the grounds. Of course we can swap the roles, have the wife take Vera around to see the paintings, and Shay with the husband to see the grounds of their extensive property.

I think that sounds good! The only thing is I (and Shay) know next to nothing about famous paintings and artists, so it would be a lot of guesswork on my part, but I'll make due. :D

Writing something now, I might take a break to study, but I'll do the do!

Don't worry about that ^.^' because neither do I! I was thinking of googling some famous painters, there's one that I know that Tindall is going to have us steal, it's a painting by Henri Manguin, he's an impressionist painter. We can use Vincent Van Gogh, as he died in 1890, and Claude Monet as well. I'm thinking we can use some Renaissance painters as well, but I'd have to do some more research >.> all of the painters I've just mentioned are all impressionists.

It'll be a snobby learning experience for us both! :D

I got a post up. Wasn't very long, but conversations tend to do that. I think Vera and Shay are going to have to spend the night going through town to buy Shay a suit and maybe a book or two on paintings and what not, as well as anything Vera needs for staying the night.

*squee!* you mean a shopping spree then?! :D I expect these next few posts to be short anyways, I'm fine if we do a paragraph or so, unless you want to collab it out, but seeing as this is a 1x1 I'm not sure what I ought to do ^.^'? Collab or short paragraphs? Your call!

D: uh... Yessir!

Post is up, and we can carry onto the next scene, if you want to jump ahead to any given scene, like to any of the dress shops, or the bookstore, that's fine with me, unless you want to carry out the conversations that would occur in the car ride? Wait, does Shay even have a car? If not, let's just say that he borrowed the one he picked Vera up in today from the prison.

On a side note, I'm thinking that with Vera taking up an official job with the Roughers, she'll quit her day job, and possibly the one as a barmaid, depending on how well this mission goes. So she'll have to move out of her attic bedroom above the jewelry store where she works.

We'll just say he borrowed the car for the duration of his watching over Vera. I say we can play things out by ear! If things are working grandly, we'll keep them going! :D

Big decision for her! Not one that has to be made immediately, I guess it depends on how much work she ends up doing for the gang.

Poasted-ed! :D

It's been constantly raining here today, it's kind of nice. Less chance of a forest fire. >_> Studying's good! I have about 32 questions left (out of I think 350ish), and no more math. Yay! I also caught up with almost all my RP stuff, which feels great. :D

I head back to work on the 20th. I'm hoping I'm ready for it. o.o

Oh I heard about the forest fire up there... Where was it Alberta? I found that shocking to hear! Do you ever get forest fires often up there? We had one down here in the mountains about two weeks ago.

I hope it goes well (: after the surgery, I think you'll be a chipper ol' mate.

Fort McMurray, it's way Northeast, near the Saskatchewan border. From where I am, it's probably like a 10-12 hour drive to get there, so way away from where I am. I'd say once or twice a year, there's usually a forest fire going on somewhere around the province. I'm pretty close to the mountains; last year, there was one in Banff national park, which is about an hour from where I live. Sky was smokey and hard to breathe for about a month with that one, and the year before that, up West of Edmonton where I used to live, there was actually an evacuation of one of the hamlets I did my work in because there was a fire about 5 kilometers away. It's a constant thing around here. o_o

YOU LIVE NEAR BANFF!?!?!?

>.>'

My company that I work for, they offer all expense paid trips, if you win a yearly contest, and for last year, we worked for the opportunity to win a trip to Banff! We missed it by half the points, but my boss and a good number of other people are going to be there next week! They'll be staying at that castle on Lake Louise! We're working on this year's trip to go to Spain, Italy, and France next year.

I find this highly ironic!

Besides that, I'm glad that you don't experience many wildfires! Last summer, all of Arizona's wildfires turned our skies hazy for weeks on end, you could hardly see the blue sky or the sun at times /: kinda makes me want to move to the Midwest, where all they get is psycho Mother Nature with her wishy-washy weather.

I DOOOOO!

And yo, if you guys ever head up that way, lemme know! It's a magical place that I love to death, and then you get to meet le Dervs in person. :'D Double date that shit yo.

I find it amazing you know what Banff is. Most Americans I talk to are like "What the fuck is a Banff?"

Yeah, usually there's enough rain to keep things nice... but it's the good thing about having such a big province, Alberta's like the size of 3 states, so one incident doesn't effect the whole province for the most part. o_o I hate not seeing the sky or breathing fresh air. Those people going to Mars, I sincerely hope they understand they'll never get to do that again. >_>

I actually totally want to visit Arizona. People keep making it sound suuuper appealing.

Yissss! We'll have to do that :D!

"What the fuck is a Banff?" <-- This accurately portrays my own thoughts as well! I thought I was saying it wrong for the longest time. Where does a name like that even come from?

Oh yeah, I think I would only go to Mars if the Earth was truly fucked, other than that, I'd definitely stick it out here, although it really depends on how our own Earth is holding up at that time, I mean, if there is a fuck-ton of nuclear fall-out, then yeah, I'd skip out then.

The only thing nice about Arizona is probably the Grand Canyon. Other than that, it's humid as hell, there are giant cacti, and a bunch of toruisty things, like a lot of Native American shops, so those are good places to buy a souvenir. Though I live in New Mexico, where it's less humid. There are still cacti here, and my boyfriend tells me that there are a lot of dinosaur deposits within the state. Plus the food is awesome, probably the only reason why I like living here so much.

I always assumed Banff was named after the guy who founded the town, but after a quick Google search,

"The town was named Banff after "Banffshire", the district in Scotland which was the birthplace of two CPR directors, Lord Strathcona and George Stephen. 1888- The original log framed Banff Springs Hotel was opened for business by Canadian Pacific Railways."

I thought I had some pictures uploaded on a photo site, but alas, I do not. There's some pretty pictures I took, the water is incredible! Man, I want to go back now and it's only been two weeks. D:

I think I'd stay with Earth until the bitter end. Even with nuclear winter, there's a chance at surviving... on Mars, if a piece of technology breaks, you might be toast, and you'd be living in the same small habitation for the rest of your life, and you can never leave to go on a trip anywhere, and there would be nothing beautiful to see, limited and no variety of food, very little in the way of entertainment, and it would just be an utterly lethal environment that could kill you dead for looking at it wrong. There's just so many negatives.

I really want to see the Grand Canyon! I keep hearing the pictures don't do it justice, and I believe it. It's humid in Arizona? I always figured it would be dry, being largely desert. The giant cacti sound awesome! I've never seen a cactus. Alberta's apparently a huge hotbed for dinosaur fossils (and fossils in general, go Google ammolite and you'll see something that's uniquely from Alberta and absolutely beautiful), there's a town called Drumheller that's got a giant dinosaur museum and the largest collection of fossils in Canada. :D
