But Derrick doesn't know that. He just sees a room around him, he's barely even aware of his surroundings. Next post when he starts actually looking around he'll realize he's not on the ground anymore.

@pockets I hate to be pedantic but if Derrick had anything to do with the IRA, he'd more than likely be Northern Irish.

@TheIrishJJ okay. I never specified whereabouts in Ireland they lived, did I do something to indicate he might not have lived in the north?

I might adjust his bio if necessary, though his back story has little bearing on the present save to indicate how he ended up in the states.

@pockets Well, they have different accents. For example, someone from the north would say how their daughter is a "wee lass" but a southerner wouldn't. The southerner wouldn't pronounce most "th"s. E.g." There were tree trees!"

Edit: judging by his back story, he'd probably have learned Irish at school. Perhaps we could have our two characters talk to each other in Irish?

Sorry that I haven't addressed your character, it just didn't seem like something she would do at this point.

@FallenTrinity Yes totally. Before I wrote my first post I was hoping to translate for him in it. But I do not speak Ukrainian in real life, and when I copy and pasted what he was saying into Google translate, it had no idea what was being said. I think it's because it needed to be written in the Ukrainian language to be translated into English. So you could just PM me what he was saying, or write it out in Ukrainian symbols and I can translate it. I even tried to pronounce all the Ukrainian he was saying into my phone for it to translate English. I got maybe five words right.

For now on though I'll use English but explain its in Ukrainian/Russian
