Standing with a look towards the sky due to her 4'11" stature, Dominique wishes she could have gained some height in her childhood. Her overall fragile looking figure has not gained muscle, nor fat. In summer, by the time she is wearing skirts or shorts and no jacket, she looks malnourished, despite the fact that she is perfectly healthy. What the young woman cannot display in physical traits, she shows in her hair. She likes to change her hair color often (her current hair color is like in the pic). Sometimes she keeps it in a ponytail, other times she braids them.
Her hazel eyes are often accentuated by thick eyeliner makeup, which is also her main trait that remains.
Even with a large time spend in sunshine California to gain her pilot license, Dominique's skin is very pale.
There are band shirts swarming the closet of the young lady. To add to her already punk appearance, ripped jeans of various black and blue shades join in on the shirts. During summertime, she wears jeans skirts or summer dresses, though the later is more of a private matter. Jackets are her all-time favorite clothing. She likes to wear dark leather jackets with tribal stitchery. If she is outside, she keeps her feet covered in military boots or simple sneakers, depending on the occasion. Barefoot is her usual way, though.
Mutation:
Creating pocket dimensions. The mutation of Dominique is to take every closeable object and enlarge the space inside. For instance, she can enlarge the space inside a pocket of a jacket and hide a gun in it, eventhough it could not fit inside physically. The more distinct the form of the 'pocket' is, the easier it is for her to expand the space within. The inside of the pocket can be enlarged endlessly, but it quickly drains Dominique's strength. Keeping such a space intact varies by the contents held within. The more Dominique packs in a pocket, the faster it drains her. Even more tiresome, the distance to the pocket matters in the upkeep as well.
In the occasion of Dominique's powers tiring too fast, the objects within the pocket leap out of it at once, much like opening a can filled with spring snakes. Another problem is that the things that one wants to stash needs to fit through the opening. Last drawback is the weight of objects. Most objects loose half their weight inside a pocket dimension, if Dominique has not learned to stash those objects for a while.
In order to increase the volume of a pocket dimension, Dominique needs to touch the container. She also refuses to stash people inside a pocket dimension.
Personality:
Always fleet-footed, Dominique does not like to stay in place too long. Whether she is talking to people or simply enjoying some time off, she keeps walking. Standing still is for her tapping her feet on the ground, until she grows tired of it and decides to walk off. This affects her social behaviour a lot. She keeps chatting short at hand, or she invites people to join her in on a walk. Nevertheless, she tends to end conversations abruptly and sometimes ignores further approach towards her, as if she is spacing out.
If she cannot move too much, for instance in a party, she keeps herself entertained by trying to make her at least as tall as others. This often ends in her bumping into people, leaning against them on tiptoes or falling onto her bottom a lot, which can become rather awkward when she is in a new group.
Strengths:
Dominique has been trained to navigate vehicles on ground and in air. She can find her way around places pretty quick. Calculating routes and detours is coming out of her on instinct. She also adapted her sight to it, spotting people and objects fast. This in return gave her a good sense of hiding things, especially how to place distracting containers or traps.
Weaknesses:
Due to her physique, the girl is easily intimidated. She cannot say no to people, unless she is pushed into a corner. She hates being in crowded places in general, up to the point that she becomes paranoid. Being in tight spaces is just as horrifying to her. She needs her space and she is very quick on her feet when she does not get it.

It all came to a stop when she was teased by fellow schoolkids in early high school, who locked her in her locker for almost a whole day. This was also the first time her powers kicked in, making the space inside the locker larger and larger to reduce the claustrophobia the young girl experienced. As she got out of the locker, she was not cheery anymore, though never talked about it with others.
Her powers became a target for some kids in her school, making her stash away alcohol and drugs, making her pickpocket in supermarkets and liquor stores. This did not go unnoticed and the teenager saw the inside of some cells numerous times, even having sat a sentence for theft in jail.
For the past two years, the woman took it slowly with her powers. She enjoyed stashing things away and keeping up the pocket dimensions as she pleased, while driving trucks for various parcel services. She also took the opportunity to take flight lessons, which resulted in a pilot license not too many weeks ago.
Just a little while ago, she received an opportunity to learn more about her powers. She enlisted and is on the way to *insert place here*.

Personality: Don't let her sweet face fool you. Sam is stubborn, strong willed, and intelligent. She is a cynical badass, and doesn't put up with shit. She does not warm to strangers easily, and appears afraid of nothing. She controls her emotions within herself, and in some ways she is slightly detached from her emotions. Sam appears even tempered, controlled, and emotionally distant, until she lets you truly get to know her. She is a secret bleeding heart, and takes the suffering of innocents personally. If one pays special attention they can see that side of her throughout many of her actions. Sam is very smart, and is particularly tuned into numbers. She loves books, and movies, a way to escape into her mind to a fantasy world. She is the protector of people she loves, extremely loyal, and always has their back. She is organized and has an excellent attention span. Over the years since her powers manifested she has become more sly, blunt, and uncompromising.
Bio: Samantha was adopted by the Knoll family when she was three years old. The story before her adoption goes like this. She was born in Boston to a stripper named Crystal Byrne. Her father was Crystal's on and off again boyfriend Daniel Uccello. He was an abusive drunk, who made money dealing drugs. She also had an older half-brother named Marcus, who was seven years old at the time she was born. Nine month after she was born, Daniel got busted selling drugs and was haled off to prison, where he would later die after being stabbed to death for pissing off the wrong people. Crystal turned to prostitution to pay the ever growing pile of bills.
By the time Sam was two years old, her brother was the only one caring for her. Crystal would disappear for days at a time leaving Marcus and Sam alone to fend for themselves in the roach infested apartment they called home. Crystal had became addicted to drugs, and her primary goal in life was how to get her next fix. Marcus went to school dirty, and hungry. The free school lunch was the only place he could get a hot meal, and everyday he would stuff his pockets with food from his tray to bring home to Sam. Unfortunately the school turned a blind eye to the blatant neglect. A few weeks before Samantha's third birthday, Crystal had left and never came back. Marcus and Sam lived off saltine crackers, beer, old Halloween candy, stale fruit loops, tap water, and whatever he brought home from school. It went in like this for the next two weeks.
The landlord came knocking since the rent was late, and found to dirty malnourished kids living in squalor. The authorities were called and Marcus and Sam were put into a foster home. After a few weeks of investigation, they matched the body of a Jane Doe to Crystal. She had died of a heroin overdose in an alley only three blocks away from the apartment. Marcus's biological father flew back from his tour in Iraq to get custody of Marcus. Sam on the other hand was left in foster care, as both of her parents where dead and she had no relatives to speak of. Fortunately she was quickly adopted by the Knoll family a few months later. And they changed her name from Mercedes Aleeah Byrne to Samantha Juliet Knoll.
Being only three years old when she was adopted, she does not really remember anything from her first few years of life. And so Samantha grew up in Providence RI, living a simple happy life. Richard her new father was a mixed martial artist who ran his own gym, and Lucy her new mother was a music teacher at the local high school. She even gained two new older brothers named Jake and Lucas who was her protectors, and best friends. They all lived happily in a three story town home. Her bedroom was her favorite place with its powder blue walls, a canopy bed, and huge doll house her father built for her. Her parents sent her to the private catholic school, her summers were spent in Michigan at the cottage on the lakes, and Christmas was always at the Plaza in Manhattan. Her Omnilingualism was apparent early on, as she was found speaking fluent french with the next door neighbors grandkids who where visiting from Paris. She could read the Chinese symbols on the takeout menus, and became good friends with the new girl at school, who could only speak Spanish. No one ever linked this to being a mutant. Her parents just assumed she was a little genius.
When she was eleven years old her family was in a car crash. Her parents died instantly and Jake was left a vegetable in a coma. Lucas blamed himself as he had been the one driving, and committed suicide a few weeks after the accident. Her happy life was seemingly over. The death of her parents led to a whole life change for Sam. Her father's parents became her legal guardians, but they lived in Germany. Her Grandparents only came to stay with her until the house was sold, Jake was taken off life support, and the funerals were held. They quickly decided that it was best that Sam staid in America, so she was sent to live with her Mother's younger sister Diana in Las Vegas Nevada.
Living in a cluttered 5th floor walk up in Vegas, above a bar, with her hipster Aunt Diana was very different from the life she had been living. Going to public school was nothing like her old school, she missed her friends, her old house, her city, and most of all her family. Diana was an aspiring musician, who worked as a maid, and bartender to pay the bills, so she was not home much to take care of Sam. When Diana was home she was ether sleeping or playing music with her band in the living room until late into the morning hours. Diana was a nice to Sam, but responsibility for anyone other then herself seemed impossible for the woman.
By middle school she had learned to how to cook, clean, shop, use the public bus, and she could basically take care of herself. She even had a part time job at the flower shop down the street from her school. Living on the bad side of town in a dangerous neighborhood Samantha was lucky to know a thing or to about fighting. When she was fourteen Aunt Diana was diagnosed with breast cancer, and Sam became her caretaker for the next two years until she died. Samantha felt alone in the world, and a few days after her aunt's funeral her Intangibility powers manifested. She was only sixteen, so the state placed her into a foster care group home for girls. The place was like a prison, and most of the girls there where what some would label politely as troubled, but more correctly put they were violent delinquents, with major issues.
Four months into her stay and Sunshine Home for teen girls, Sam was pretty sure she was going nuts, as small parts of her would randomly go through solid things. One of the group home staff explained to her that she was a mutant, and that it was best to not tell or show anyone what she could do. After some intense googleing she was even more freaked out. One day three girls decided to teach Samantha a lesson by ganging up on her in the bathroom to kick her ass, all because Sam narked on them after she heard them talking about their plan to burn the place down. She did the best she could defending herself, but she was quickly knocked to the ground and the girl proceeded savagely to kicked her. Survival skills kicked in and for the first time she went completely Intangibility and fell through the floor into the basement. She high tailed it out of the place after that.
She spent two years living on the street in LA. Once she was 18, and legally an adult she was able take the GED. She passed it with flying colors, and then got a job as a waitress at a diner. She rents a tiny cheap studio apartment, and has no idea what to do with her life.

Mutation: Velocity Manipulation - User can create, shape and manipulate the velocity of any moving object: the speed and direction an object is moving. They could simply move things around: by controlling their velocity, user could fly; cancel somethings velocity, making it freeze where it is, even use velocity as a sort of force blast, blasting things away at high speeds.
Personality: Rowen is opinionated and hard-headed. She knows who her friends are and keeps them close and is easy to get along with, provided you can get past her sassy exterior. She is a good friend when you need one, but doesn't back down from challenges, even when the odds are stacked.
Bio: Rowen grew up in a slightly broken household. Her father worked long hours to provide for his family, her mother was a teacher that made next to nothing, and she had an older brother who experimented with drugs. It wasn't perfect by any stretch of the word, but Rowen loved her family regardless. She talked with her brother, helped her mother, and was there for her father when he needed someone. She helped keep them grounded when it seemed life was taking it's toll on them.
Life has a habit of knocking you when you least expect it and despite his promises, Rowen's brother still took drugs and overdosed. A trip to the hospital left him in a comatose state. The final cracks showed when their parents divorced. Rowen went to live with her father while her mother and aunt watched over her brother.
Despite these hard knocks, Rowen tried her best in school, maintained good grades, and eventually graduated high school and went off to college to study to become a doctor. If any help was to be given to her brother, she would research and find it.
During her school years is when her mutant abilities began to manifest. She didn't like it at first, it scared her, given what she knew about mutants and her own views on them, but eventually she grew accustomed to them and used them sparingly. However, a jealous student noticed her gifts and incited a riot at school. She had no choice but to drop out of school and strike out on her own.
She currently lives with her best friend and is a waitress at a restaurant. She doesn't use her abilities, but hides them. Perhaps now is the time for her to use them once again.

Name: Francis Thomas Newman
Nickname: Frankie, Thomas

Mutation: Healing factor, shapeshifting/invisibility. At the moment, he can't keep transformed for too long, and he can't change his body's proportions too much. If he transforms for too long, he'll go into his true form. After a couple of minutes, he'll be able to go back to his human form. He can be in his human form for as long as he wishes. The time that he can spend shapeshifting/invisible can be improved with training, however. Also has a tail in his true form, which he can be trained to become prehensile. (More powers may evolve in time, see the bio for why). Francis's true form his him, however he has crimson skin, with scales, similar to Mistique. The scales cover everywhere on his body below his neck, except for the palms of his hands and the bottom of his feet. All of his body hair becomes jet black, and he gains a tail, similar to Nightcrawler's, with a tuft of black hair at the end.
Personality: Francis is a quite person, not speaking much with people he's not friends with. He can become quick to anger, and can carry a grudge for a long time. If it's his only option, he will start a fight there and then, however, given the chance, he will follow his victim from the shadows, and then strike when they let their guard down. If you're his friend, however, Francis will be one of your best. He always puts others before himself, and would hate to see them get hurt. Sometimes, Francis will get visions of his father, Azazel, calling him, or showing him scenes. These can cause him to shout out for it to stop, and even try and fight it.
Bio: Francis was born in London to Alice and Thomas Newman. However, Thomas wasn't really Francis's father. His real father is Azazel, a mutant that seduced his mother, Alice. Nobody, even Alice, knows that Azazel is the father, due to her memory being wiped by Azazel (aside from Azazel and Francis). Due to his father being a mutant, he has gained some mutant abilities similar to his father, Azazel, and half-brother, Nightcrawler. When he turned 16, he was contacted by his father from the dimension that he was trapped in. From then, he learned how to use his abilities on his own. Just after he turned 21, he received an invitation to be able to control his powers more, and he has accepted

Ronan is also intensely insecure. As he doesn't have any friends, he does not have anyone to talk to about his insecurities and issues. Therefore, they are never resolved. He harbors severe anxiety, with depression being a growing problem. Underneath the exterior and many layers of antisocial tendencies and self-protection, Ronan is a rather odd, but interesting, person. He is very quirky, and enjoys ice cream, late night outings, and traveling.

History: Ronan Carlisle was born into a nice, middle-class family. He was raised in a morally clean home, where he was loved by his parents and two siblings. He was the middle child, but never struggled with his position. He lived happily with his family, in Colorado. When Ronan was seven, his family moved to Denver. This was a much tougher environment than he had previously experienced, and he wasn't quite prepared for the type of people he would meet, even when those people were children. His first day of school in his new home went drastically wrong, ending up with Ronan in a classroom full of flowers. A kid in his class had decided it would just be the greatest idea ever to throw pencils at Ronan. He threw them for hours, always stopping when the teacher would turn around. Ronan was getting increasingly frustrated and embarrassed. On the way back from lunch, Ronan was hoping that maybe he would be able to escape during reading hour. He went to sit down on a beanbag in the corner, but found himself flat on the floor, with his newest enemy sitting in the chair, looking mighty pleased with his intervention. Ronan had taken enough, and his anxiety reached its peak. as the boy prepared to throw on more pencil at him, every pencil in the classroom was suddenly replaced with flowers. Flowers of various shades, shapes, and sizes were scattered about. The boy's eyes were bugged, practically out off his skull, staring at the flowers that newly appeared in his hand. Ronan ran from the room, his tear-streaked face layered with confusion and fear. He ran to a nearby supply closet, and waited until his mother showed up to leave. He was enrolled in a private school from that point onward.
At the private school, Ronan was able to keep to himself. It was a boarding school that operated with dormitories for students four days out of the week, and sent the students home for Friday and the weekend. He was able to do his school work, and read in his bed, keeping away from anyone that might seek to bully him. As much as he tried to deny it, he couldn't help but have a feeling that he had somehow made the event happen. Everyone had stared at him as if they had seen him do it. It frightened him, and kept him from opening up. He stayed in the private school until the age of fourteen, when he moved on to high school. He decided he believed he was ready for a public school again. He had gained a better sense of self in the recent years, and had gained experience in social situations. He had almost entirely forgotten about the incident in the classroom. On his first day, he went to his first period with a somewhat confident air hidden within himself. He took his seat and waited for class to start. He could see groups of friends mulling about, greeting one another familiarly. He told himself that he would let someone else approach him first, rather than trying to introduce himself. That was never his strong suit. He kept to himself as class started, and they had introductions. He had to do an introduction. Public display was his greatest fear. He sat through just a few people as it came to his turn. His heart was beating practically out of his chest at the thought, but he stood and walked to the front, facing a group of total strangers. He introduced himself as Ronan Carlisle, and raised a slightly shaky hand in a wave, unable to really tell anything about himself, given the circumstances. He saw the snickering faces of the major cliques as he walked back to his seat, and caught a glimpse of one rather rude-looking boy flashing him an open palm with a finger to the center. Great. He sat down and decided to keep to himself for the remainder of the first week, before trying to branch out. All was well until his third period. He fled his first period rapidly, giving nobody time to talk to him, and he survived second period with a head on his shoulders. When third period hit, he found those same boys sitting in the room, and they locked onto their newest target as he walked in the room. Great.
Ronan tried not to notice the eyes following him as he made his way to his seat. As he sat down, he felt a ball of paper hit the back of his head, and heard a burst of laughter from across the room. They were calling his "name". Dickwad; Asshat; Dipshit. He ignored them and tried to just sit down and wait for the bell to ring. He kept feeling spitballs and paper balls colliding with his head, but kept to himself and kept his emotions in check. When the teacher walked in, the boys didn't cease to cause a racket, and Ronan just kept his eyes forwards. The teacher was getting rather irate at the boys, but didn't do anything to stop them, and so by the end of class, when the boys were reaching the height of their fun, Ronan broke. One of the boys threw a book at Ronan's head, and Ronan's eyes snapped to the book in mid flight, before it suddenly twisted and morphed into a bat. Several people screamed as Ronan fell out of his chair in shock. The boys were yelling and running about the room, with the bat chasing them and dive-bombing them repeatedly. Ronan shook silently on the ground beside his desk, before his slight panic attack abated, and the bat transfigured back into a book while in mid flight, falling to the floor of the classroom. This was just like that incident all those years ago in the classroom, and brought back all of the negative feelings that Ronan had been feeling at the time of the original accident. Tears started streaming from his eyes as the windows shattered, and books were torn from the shelves, with papers beginning to fly amok throughout the room. Amidst the chaos, one of the bullies made his way over to Ronan, and knocked him unconscious with a vicious textbook smack to the head.
Ronan awoke in the school infirmary, dehydrated, and sporting a serious headache. He had no idea what all had happened, and only remembered the terrible feelings that had induced his panic. The nurse walked in, clearly frazzled at the situation, and attempted to question Ronan as to what means he had taken to set up such an elaborate prank, as that is obviously what this must have been. How could it be anything else? Ronan was suspended for a week following the event, with everyone seeing him as the clear spawn of the disastrous "prank". Ronan never returned to that school. He had made the realization that the strange things that had happened in the classroom, both times, had been caused by himself. As much as he would like to deny it, he knew this was the case. He kept it a secret from everyone. He made up methods of how he created the prank, in order to tell his obviously irate parents. He lived a lie, and did his best to keep his emotions under lock and key, so as to avoid any more "incidents". He withdrew and was given private tutors for his education, preferring to stay hauled up in his house, so as to avoid any social interactions. He began receiving therapy, but closed himself off to everyone, including his parents and siblings. When he graduated high school at the age of eighteen, Ronan decided to put off school for a year, and instead go traveling the world, never knowing the insane things that would become his world.

Mutation: Ronan's mutation allows him to harness a unique magical force that has yet to be named. Unlike many magicians in the world, he innately contains a magical force within himself, separate from the magical energies of the universe itself. He harnesses that energy from within his own being, as well as the energies outside himself, in order to create fantastical displays of power and supernatural ability. The most major abilities at this point include complete/incomplete, temporary transfiguration, telekinesis, astral projection, illusion projection, and limited scrying. This means that he can transfigure any matter into something different, manipulate objects with telekinesis, project his spirit freely throughout the dimension, and potentially other dimensions, and create illusions of varying degrees. It is likely that other abilities will manifest, but at his core, his magic is inclined towards transfiguration. At this time, he is completely unable to control his powers, and they act only as an automatic defense mechanism for his anxious or panicked mind. While there is no set amount of energy that he can contain, he does get physically and mentally exhausted from usage of these powers, though he doesn't realize it yet. His ability will grow every time he uses these abilities, though slowly in general. His capabilities with transfiguration will be limited to his imagination and power level. For instance, if he were extremely powerful, but unable to imagine more detail in a mouse than fur and skin, transfiguring a computer mouse into a real mouse would not render the mouse alive, a he would only be able to imagine an inanimate figure with fur and skin. His powers will rely on both wish and belief.

Eliyah has the ability to completely change his body shape and physiology. His soft and smooth skin becomes hard and scaly-giving him a metallic red hue. He grows taller and wings sprout out from his back. A long tail uncurles and he groes horns, not to a whole foot taller. These changes to his body give him the ability to fly, enhanced durability and strength. This change also allows him to create and manipulate heat and fire as he sees fit, and he does not need an existing source to utilize this. Despite his apparent control over fire, his body will automatically generate heat on the surface of his skin setting him on fire. His skin will constantly be up in flames, but he will not feel it. Despite the power he gains in this form, without oxygen, he is nothing. He cannot transform without it in abundance, and this form consumes it at all times, it is used to maintain it. Thus, oxygen surrounding him will constantly burn faster than it can be replaced. Because of this, his transformation time is limited. He is given a grace period of 2 minutes of air to breath, once that is gone, he has to hold his breath until he can no longer bare it, and he must return to his human form. This means that he has a transformation time of 3 to 4 minutes. His ability also has a cool down after each use, this is usually 5 to 10 minutes long. If there is no Oxygen in the surrounding area, like the ocean, his powers are rendered completely useless and unusable.
Personality:
On the surface, Eliyah comes off as a rather silly and lighthearted person, frequently engaging in comical behavior and retaining his oft-present grin even while making threats. He displays a childlike amusement for new situations whether or not they prove adverse or even potentially fatal. Even with all these idiosyncrasies, he is extremely personable and has a particularly complimentary nature that easily gains him the friendship and trust of those surrounding him.

Bio:
Eliyah was born in Brooklyn, New York, a city were mutants were hated, but you minded your own business, most of the time. Eliyah's mutations reveled itself at the young age of 7 when he literally transformed and burned the couch down in front of his aunt who proceeded to douse him in holy water and make him fast for days on end. After this incident, he only wished for a quiet childhood, unfortunately, he didn't get to have that. He was constantly in and out of the hospital, due to his parents apparent fear of his transformations. Soon it was easy to see that he was a mutant. His aunt told him that he had been possessed by the Devil, but the truth was already out. Fearing for their child's life in the big city, his parents sent him to live in Birmingham. This only worsened the situation, as the south was a boiling pot of hatred. At the age of 22, after years of sudden transformation and mental hallucinations from oxygen depravation, Eliyah was sent to a place were he could learn how to control these transformations, thankfully.

Lamia is roughly 5'1 and weighs about 110 lbs. Her arms and chest are adorned with various tattoo, some colourful some black and white and all of varying images ranging from what appears to be a knife wound in her ribs to characters from the Land Before Time films. She has a fairly average, slender build, lacking any pronounced feminine proportions. Her hair is dirty blonde and her eyes are hazel. She seems quite pale when compare to others, as if she's either unable to tan or doesn't spend much time outdoors.

- Advanced Healing Factor:
Lamia is able to recover from seemingly any fatal wound. She is capable of regrowing lost limbs within a day (while she can't die from blood loss, it will still cause her to pass out), bullet wounds heal within an hour and broken limbs will heal within a few minutes. She's able to survive gunshots to the head, lungs and heart, but suffers from headaches if she doesn't remove bullets lodged in her brain. Being burnt down to ash or thrown into a molten pool however, will leave nothing behind for her to regenerate. Lamia is also immune to the effects of drugs and alcohol, while toxic poisons will cause her to lose consciousness for about an hour.

Lamia does not need to breath at all and is incapable of suffocation.
- Cibopathic (Food Retrocognition):
Lamia can know the entire history of anything she consumes. If it's a vegetable, she knows where it was planted, how often it was watered, what pesticides were used, when it was harvested and how, how it was transported and how it was handled.
If it's meat, she knows every aspect of the former creatures life, from beginning to end, how it was born, raised, treated and killed. She isn't currently able to pinpoint or focus on specific memories at the momement, meaning every meal is a sensory and mental overload.
Personality:
Lamia is introverted to say the least. She doesn't particularly enjoy being around people and incessant talking and noise tends to get on her nerves. She can typically be found shut in some room, laying asleep in bed or trying to sleep, otherwise she's typically reading or listening to music. She can be quite curt and seems to have little regard for the feelings of others, mostly because she just wants to be left alone.
Bio:
Lamia's first hint that she was a mutant came about 18 moths ago, when she was fifteen. She'd tried to cut her own hair in a mirror and watched as it grew back to the exact length it had been before she'd cut it. The second clue came when her abusive step-father's nightly boxing ritual stopped leaving cuts and bruises. The third came from when her alcoholic mother's hidden booze stash stopped getting her drunk and the final clue came when she tried to drown herself in the bathtub and it didn't work.
Rather than deal with the result of a step-father who could beat her as hard as he wanted and never leave a scratch, Lamia did what she'd always dreamed of. She ran away. At first it felt liberating to know that she could go anywhere and do anything without a fear of dying, but she soon realized that she could still get hurt, even if the wounds kept healing. Fortunately for Lamia, rapists tended to back away when their intended victim starts to to stab herself. Gradually she grew more and more reclusive and misanthropic. She started to realize that if she wasn't able to die, then this was it for her, an eternity spent on the streets surrounded by people who would eventually grow old, wither and die. She could take solace in the fact that she'd outlive the assholes of the world, but it also meant she'd outlive anyone she ever cared about.
Because of this, she devoted most of her time adding to her "road map", a series of tattoos that depicted important moments or people in her life. Moments she wanted to remember. The tattoos healed almost instantly and the ink was under the skin, making them the most permanent thing she could put n her body. She paid for the work in ways she'd rather not recall, but it was a means to an end.
She currently lives in an abandoned school bus under a bridge, left alone by almost all the other homeless squatters who call the area their home, mostly because no one wants to deal with "the crazy kid with the knives."
It's only recently that her food-based abilities have begun to develop and as a result, she eats as little as possible. If anything the development of these new, uncontrolled powers has made her more reclusive and withdrawn, experiencing the death of every single thing she eats further cementing the knowledge that everything is on a constant march towards death. Everything except her, apparently.

Ben stands at 6'2, and is a tall and thin, with average muscling on his arms. He isn't exceptionally strong, or visually striking, as most of his strength is gained by his mutation. He usually keeps a small amount of facial hair at any given point, and his hair fairly short. Ben has hazel colored eyes, though he's always hated them and would rather have blue ones.

'"Pulse" has shown the exceptional ability to absorb multiple types of energy, primarily electrical, and retain it in his cells like a capacitor or battery. This ability has not been thoroughly tested, due to concern about cellular degradation due to excess exposure to current. Presently "the patient appears to be capable absorb roughly a car's battery worth of energy, with potential for more. Additionally, the patient is able to discharge the energy which he absorbs, sometimes at a greater strength than it was when he absorbed it. Presently energy can be discharged in a stream, or via touch. We are unsure whether there is potential for more methods of discharge at this point. This patient, "pulse", seems to thrive when a certain amount of energy is constantly in his body. Cellular deterioration, similar to dehydration or starvation have been observed when this minimum energy level is depleted, or a maximum energy level is surpassed. Though, with a certain 'exercise' like regimen, "pulse" seems to be capable of increasing the upper end of his retention. Observations are still trying to put an empirical number to these levels. It is believed by my team that "Pulse" very likely will continue to evolve this ability to absorb additional types of energy, potentially including kinetic, flame, and life energy. When Ben becomes overcharged, there is the potential for an explosion like occurrence, while his body vents the excess energy to maintain homeostasis.

Personality:
Ben in his personality is a very walled veiled person. He usually carries a sarcastic aggressive attitude with him wherever he goes. This sarcasm and aggression that lies on the outside of his personality though, is just a defense mechanism. He developed the personality that he displays to the rest of the world. A cold, callused individual with little care for anyone or anything. He keeps most things pent up, which causes him to have a smoldering hate and short temper most of the time. Having been dealt massive emotional blows as a child Ben is rather tender and sensitive on the inside. He's constantly trying to find something to fill the void his parents left. Ben suffers from clinically diagnosed mild-moderate depression. Due to his gruff exterior he has difficulty getting close to people, and when he does his short temper and self destructive tendencies often push them away. This feeds his depression, which plagues him when he isn't working.
Ben has developed a rather bad drinking habit, and could be classified as an alcoholic. The drinking problem, like many of his other personality flaws, stems directly from the loss of his parents. He has difficulty getting close to anyone in his life, due to the aforementioned issues, which just goes to feed this alcoholism.
History:
Ben was adopted into a broken family in the south bronx. His parents fought through most of his childhood, leaving Ben bitter and alone at home, and making it hard for him to make friends at school. When he was in elementary school his parents' fighting became worse. When he tried to split it up Ben's father smacked him and sent him to his room. In his room he fell into a tantrum of pain and sorrow, which was when his mutations first expressed themselves. Cars parked along the road began to wobble, setting off their alarms. Computers in his house, and the ones around his house began to flicker and then fail all together, and every metal object in the house began to hover, or all together fly towards his room, getting stuck against whatever wall obstructed their path. Windows across the house shattered as the sills themselves tried to flex and snap out of their fixtures, fracturing the glass in the process.
The phenomenon was enough to shake his father from his fit of rage, and he went looking for the source, the wailing boy in his upstairs. His father, having watched the news, knew very well that what he was experiencing was a mutant. Despite cries by his mother and protests, his father kicked Ben out at age 8 to fend for himself.
Ben spent the next eight years fending for himself. He spent several months on and off in Xavier's School, though he couldn't fit in and make friends and would frequently run away. It was during these eight years he discovered his energy power, and began to harness his powers more and more. It was during a petty theft he was making on an ATM, ripping the metal away and taking the cash. A police officer caught him in the act and attempted to tase him when he wouldn't stop. The officer fired his taser, but to no avail. The wires hooked into him but the electricity was absorbed. It even caught Ben off guard, but having spent time around other mutants, he understood immediately it was another mutation. Ben ripped the wires out and ran away, unsure of the extent of his mutations.
For the next while Ben began to attempt to make a life for himself. He indulged in petty crime less, while getting more education and trying to find a good job. At age 21 he was fairly stable. He had a good relationship, and a decent job while studying in school. When the attack on the UN happened. His friends, and even his girlfriend, began looking at him in a new light. Eventually she dumped him, and his friends began disappearing one by one. He uprooted, leaving where he had lived for fear of his life and from legal action against him for being a mutant, going as far as to move out of country, finding himself in Berlin currently.

He used to where a lot of T-shirts and shorts but thanks to the accident he now usually bundles up, including gloves and hoodies to avoid skin contact. He is quite pale, board lining grey, possibly due to the meltdown. His eyes are slightly sunken in and are grey around them with bright amber eyes. His body has kept the same pigmentation for the most part. It lingers with a light hue of black while his veins are of red and purple colour. Michael's body is also of a viscous nature, allowing parts of skin to peel away and attach itself to other things or beings, both animal and human alike .
Mutation:
The Chernobyl Accident of 1986 left his body severely mutated. His body could adapt to the major radiation in the area as seen when he awoken right next to the destroyed reactor. He is able to handle extreme cold and hot temperatures though to what degree he doesn't know. Michael is capable of seeing clearly in pitch blackness as his eyes have gained enhanced sight. However that was not the only thing that had been enhanced. Strength, speed, agility, endurance and durability had also drastically increased. He has shown the ability to latch onto the sides of buildings and structures and sprint up them as if gravity had no play. The mutation has also left him with a regenerative capability but he is unsure of its potential, seeing as how when parts of him are peeled away, they regenerate just as fast.
He wants to believe that there is more to him but he hasn't seen the proof.
Personality:
He keeps to himself for the most part, knowing that any contact could result tragically. He normally is quite a patient individual but as of late the mutation had started to effect his personality, resulting in signs of bipolar anger, schizophrenia, and sadistic tendencies, fighting for control from this demon, this "Parasyte" that resides in him. He hopes to get it under control before he loses himself, consumed by it.

Born and raised in Ukraine in the 60s, he was a farmer like his father until the age of 18 in which he joined the military. After doing his years in the military and college he managed to get a job at the Chernobyl Nuclear plant as a nuclear engineer. He worked there until 1986, when the plant had a meltdown. He remained while others evacuated and helped many out and away from the reactor before the eruption when he was hit with more radiation than anyone should be able to handle. The initial wave of radiation activated his dormant X-gene but the second wave overloaded him and his body shutdown. It wasn't until years later did he awake from his slumber, confused and scared, remembering the last thing being a loud bang and then darkness.

Her powers first manifested around when she turned 12. She began to notice that sometimes glass would suddenly shatter or things would start to shake around her would without anything causing it. When she returned home that day she found that she could feel different vibrations from the different projects she was working on. Eventually her family was contacted by a Professor Charles Xavier. After finding out that his very own daughter was that which he hated most, he quickly disowned her and handed her over to the X-Men, threatening that he would contact his “friends” to kill them all if he did not take her away quickly.
The next five years were almost uneventful. She spent most of her time going to school at the X-Mansion in New York, making a name for herself amongst students as something of a fun geek, and someone that others could go to for help in anything, weather it be homework or just someone to talk to. She began taking an interest in the mechanics, chemistry and physics.

Personality: Brash, eager, bit of a hot head, but generally a nice guy, when he's not trying to come off as a jerk.
Bio: Irish american, born in the states while his parents were on vacation but lived in Ireland until he was fifteen. His dad worked in construction and was in charge of his companies demolitions materials. When some local members of the IRA wanted supplies to make bombs, they came knocking on old Nathan Cole's door. He denied them, flat out. But the IRA don't take well to disappointment, and a week later found Derricks father in the hospital, beaten to within an inch of his life.
Derrick stole the demolitions supplies, managed to get into contact with the men that wanted them and arranged a meet to turn them over. One of the men was an Interpol agent, undercover, and the entire thing had been a sting operation to catch the local chapter of the IRA. Derrick and his family were relocated to Boston and granted citizenship as a reward for their trouble, and assistance. No charges were brought against Derrick due to his age at the time, and his only intention was to help his father.
When he turned 17 his powers began to manifest themselves. At first as little points of light that would randomly start floating around him, then later he was startled when a truck backfired on their block and a small beam of light erupted from his hand, shattering the cup of coffee he'd been holding in a spray of ceramic and scalding liquid.
He left home after discussing the situation with his parents. They loved him, and they didn't have a problem with his being different. But they couldn't afford the property damage that started to creep up with the uncontrolled power he had. They supplied him with all the assistance they could and he still calls his mother nearly every day, but he's been on his own for a few years, traveling the country by motorcycle, picking up odd jobs when and where he could.
