Oh. It seemed like the Sun God annihilated all the vampires. Now I see that you were just getting the ones at either gate?

That is still much over half the forces. :3

@UsurperKing
He was high now, far above the city. He could see the extent of the fighting now. It was a slaughter. Roaring once more, he let the power course through his body, radiating from him. He screamed in agony, but fed more and more power out. He shone the light onto the city, lighting every square inch of it in his glorious sunshine. He forced light into every shadow, every nook and every cranny. He burned the undead, weakening them. In some cases he killed them outright, so great was his light, and so large was their aversion to the sun. The undead still alive scurried out of the light, desperate to avoid its purging blaze. Samael twisted his face into a grim smile, and ended his radiance.
That part of your post made it seemed like you killed most of the vampires in the city. I understand that wasn't your intent, but that's the insinuation it gave.

@Zach&Usurper also the anticlimatic statement was more mean't towards the fact that there seemed to be 0 preparation for the attack, no forewarning no giving anyone to prepare for anything. For example me and Sing did two posts before even arriving in the harbor and we still haven't commenced combat. So i hope you see where I'm coming from when I say that it feels like a bit of a cheat for you guys to crash into combat so quickly and easily.

The Derevi weren't imprisoned. :) Her brothers and sisters were. She is planning to try now that they are free.

For one, Mysia isn't gathering forces, attempting to take the city, or even fighting. She's protecting a grand but small (in terms of area) part of the city, from any militant forces, she's so actively avoiding actual fighting at this point that the area she's protecting won't accept militant forces from the gods she would normally side with, in the case that the city burns, at least the temple will survive.

You two, on the other hand, are assembling forces to actually try and take the city. Big difference.

Lymaeus the world or Lymaeus the Primal Earth Goddess? :) Lymaeus the Goddess could you ask me first since I made her?

@Fallen yes, I thought it was that. I'll edit it to make it clearer that I'm only weakening/driving off the vampires, not killing them. As for the anti-climatic thing, that would be more accurately a deus ex machina. Although, considering what that phrase means...

In any case, why I fell down from the sky like that is in my back story, so it isn't entirely contrived.

For the record, the Samael's power is not normal; undead are weak to sunlight. Seeing as he is the god of sunlight...

I decided to interfere with a lot of your armies, you might want to take a gander to see what effects the god of debauchery has bestowed upon you lucky lucky people.

Oh, and the blood-thirst would more than counter-act what seems to be a city-wide weakening of vampires. Awfully racist Mr.Sun God, there's another undead army outside you could be purging as well.

Oh, very clever with Lefredias "followers" there. I'll accept the counter move for it was very, very fitting. Lefredias won't even be mad, well maybe a little.

Well no, I suppose not. I mean, when they are all hungover and questioning why they ended up sleeping with their friends boyfriend and cousin, uncertainty will grip their hearts anew! xD

I got a post up! Uh, I'm not sure if it's the most.. accurate thing in the world, or if it included everyone's actions; I got a tad confused reading everyone else's posts.

Hopefully it's okay!

Oh, he hasn't seen the immortal army yet. Otherwise you can be sure he would be...enlightening Lathunis as to his rather strong opinions of her father.

I don't think anyone else's armies have engaged yet, so you just walked into a shit-storm, dangerous stuff.

From here on out, there are now contested and uncontested actions; if you don't want to contest an action (like Hellis accepting MelonHead's move) all is well -- plot away. It becomes collaboration where two players work out the conflict amongst themselves.

A contested action means that you're throwing it to the ground ruling of a GM. We aren't going to necessarily explain the logic behind the rulings, but we'll try to be fair about it. In essence, think about what you're pulling when you try it. Personally, I prefer people have a little flexibility and work with the uncontested actions -- if you make the GM's play referee, like it's an NRP, we're going to basically impose our interpretation onto the activity.

So for example, if I were to declare that in the history of Lymaeus there were a set of kings/emperors, it would remain uncontested until someone else wishes it otherwise?
