Indie left when she was 16 and is now 23. So she left seven years prior to the IC.

Arthur left home for University at 19, though he didn't cut himself off from the family or anything, just left home.

I think my big question— is which siblings are the ones that aren’t strangers to Elaine as through her app it is mentioned that the ones she respects/cares about can be listed on one of her hands. There’s also the fact that, if it is 2016 currently in IC then Elaine has for the majority of the time since 2014 been in residence at her boarding school in Maine.

Indie being the next oldest daughter would be a reasonable guess as to someone who may have been close to Elaine. Since Elaine is 16 she was only nine when Indie left but I feel like Indie would've been as sure as possible her littlest sister was okay!

Gabe left for the US Air Force at 18, so he probably avoided anything that would lead to them denying him like the plague.

But yeah, Gabe didn't likely keep in contact with anyone + kinda intensely dislikes his oldest sister. It depends on where say Arthur, Matt, and Cas' character left off with him. ;o

If any of the younger siblings want specific relations with him, like Esi, he had quite a few years out of the military for any of them to actively contact him, though. If that's so shoot me a PM!

Well Elaine started piano lessons and went into the classical areas, so I imagine that orchestral-inclined music interest might have connected the two before Indiana's leaving. Though while Elaine was far more interested in gathering her parent's attention and praises, I'm sure she valued Indiana and Emile the most out of her siblings. I'm trying to think of hypothetical bonding but I'm not sure beyond that. Maybe Indiana felt Elaine's need to impress others was daunting or that Elaine's innate intelligence was overwhelming. Not sure how Indiana would perceive young Elaine.

She began to learn her instrument before Elaine was born and began to learn songs the year Elaine was born so as far as music goes Indie would most likely have a small leg up on her. Perhaps Elaine would've looked up to Indie as a musical mentor.

The beautiful piano/violin duality. But yeah, I imagine Elaine's latent talents lie more on academics and puzzles. Though she does really legitimately love music.

So I just realized Esther is actually older than Nathan by a year. They're labeled as the seventh and sixth eldest respectively.
