@BCTheEntity Oh yeah, Saptheth is definitely an interesting character to read. I think you nailed down his attitude pretty well, I always imagined Easterlings would have such a world view. Besides, I wouldn't say it's entirely unjustified - in the books/movies we always see the Free Peoples' point of view, but when you stop to think about it you realise that, yes, Eorl's folk did slay the Balchoth by the thousands; Gondor led many wars with other people of the East and in its Golden Age it was a land of conquerors, not heroes. My point being, Easterlings aren't orcs, they're people and I can see why they would resent the West.

That doesn't mean I think Saptheth is any less of a dick though

Ok, so I added some stuff to the collab. Sorry I've been out and about, guys. My friend got some leave time and so said friend, this chick I know and the sister unit wanted to hang out and they were all like, "Let's do all the things!" Suffice to say that Yours Truly didn't get a whole lot of sleep these last four days. I never thought I'd be one of those people that gets grumpy if they're still up past 10:00 PM.

Yeah, I don't really have much to say either as you can see, but I'm winging it cause I like writing anything LOTR-related and we also need to pick up the pace a bit, IMO. It's not like we're putting out super long posts as the moment, so I think we should try to be a bit more active. I'll be the first to admit I'm guilty of tardiness, but I'm afraid we're starting to lose our momentum and the RP might grind to a halt before we've even had a chance to actually start our adventure.

That said, once we begin the journey I feel like things will start rolling along more smoothly. Here's hoping, at least.
