"Oh, Dahling! You may have been gorgeous before, but now you're outright glamorous! You're definitely going to find yourself a date with this outfit!"

Skylar didn't answer as she kept on walking towards the next room, clearly showing that she didn't want to deal with Mettaton and the makeover. She heard the laughter from David and the others, but she really didn't blame them for laughing. It was the reaction she expected after all. She answered David's apology with a simple "It's fine," and moved on.

However, she stopped when she heard someone collapse. She turned to look and see that Undyne had collapsed. One by one, everyone fell to the ground. She called to them in shock and slight panic, "Guys?! Guys! Are you okay?! What's wrong?!" She ran up to Chen's body and shook it slightly only to receive no response. His eyes stared at nothing, blank and with no light. She looked around as she heard the world around her rumble. She gasped as the ground and the walls collapsed around her into nothingness. She tried desperately to escape but she felt herself scream as she too felt as though she was falling.

Somehow...she knew that the world was being destroyed.

"No....! NO! It-It can't end like this! I....I need to find Frisk! I-I can't give up now!!!"

Before she knew it, two lights appeared in front of her. One said "RESET" and the other said "CONTINUE". She reached out towards the RESET button, and all of a sudden, light engulfed her vision.

Skylar gasped as she opened her eyes at the strange feeling. She was running....through the City of Ebott...towards Mt. Ebott! Didn't she just do this?! She looked around, and when she reached the forest, she skidded to a halt before she could even slam into a tree again. She looked around, and took deep breaths. She mumbled "OK...OK....gotta calm down and think about this logically...."

What in the world just happened? This was clearly just after she got the call from Frisk. That means the others were going to be joining her on her search through the Underground. But....how much time did they have? Was the world going to be destroyed if she didn't hurry?

Erion woke up in his bed, and then looked around, breathing heavily as he looked around. He stared a bit around. He felt like... something just happen. One moment he felt like he was with a group of monsters and talking to them, convincing someone else... the next, he woke up here... but felt different. As if something went haywire in his brain. Was this all a dream... all those monsters... He remembered having taken science class and continuing with those... but he felt that it was not what he did before. He felt a strange feeling about wanting to be a doctor... but something happened. He looked around a bit, and shook his head. Something very strange happened, and he could not figure what. He got up and headed to change, before grabbing his things, then looking through the window towards Mt. Ebott. He remembered David here. At least he was still here at least. He went and grabbed a piece of toast in his mouth, putting his jacket.
"Byu Mom! Got tou go!" he says, the toast still in his mouth as he then head out and start running towards Mt.Ebott right there, eating as he moves. Maybe answers were there... was this all a dream? Maybe... but he needed to figure out what happen.

"...and that's why we should all try to find Frisk," I finished my speech, but, unfortunately, the rest of the college wasn't too impressed. They all laughed, and made fun of me after it, with a few of them saying things like "Yeah, I bet he took ONE class on public speaking, and he thinks he's good at it," and "HA! This just further proves that David's horrible at everything he tries," oddly, though, some of them, particularly the humans, seemed to say things that would imply that they've heard this exact speech before. Odd... maybe I should look into this... I thought before I saw Erion, as well as an unknown girl run towards the Ebott forest. I used my wings to fly over there, myself, catching up to them, and asking "So, Erion, mystery girl, what are we doing? Are we trying to find Frisk? 'Cause I think he might be underground again," I had a slight feeling that I've said this before, but that disappeared pretty quickly when I saw the mystery girl stop... only for me to crash into a tree that she was probably going to run into. "Uuugh... my beak..." I moaned as I got up, and dusted myself off. Truth be told, I was pretty seriously damaged from that crash, but I wouldn't let anyone see that, or worse, the subpar magic I would use to try to heal myself. I gathered all my strength, and tried to form my beak into what passes for a smile for bird monsters. "If that's what you're trying to do, you can count on me to help!... mostly... anyways, I'll try my best to help," I finally said, as if to try to put an end to the awkward silence.

For the first time in a long while, Rel hesitated during what was a simple routine algorithm check. The numerical characters that would commonly zip by across her visor-like display came to a halt as with the rest of Rel's frame. She came to a second later but remained stunned at what had so unexpectedly came over her. It was beyond her comprehension of why she was given pause to her work. The only thing she could recollect was the briefest flash of white encompassing her sight and the alien sense of dread. Of what the cause for the bizarre moment she could not determine. For what it came as; a disturbance.

Rel finally freed herself from her unnatural instance of petrification and scanned her surroundings while cementing herself back to reality. Before her was a table covered in a variety of plans and blueprints while an opened drawing box sat at the side of the platform. It appeared to be her workstation as she quickly determined the style of writing and sketches upon the detailed sheet were natively hers. She found one of her four arms had froze in place while checking off an item from some sort of catalogue. It took Rel another second to remember the purpose for doing so.

Turning her head slightly to her right, Rel found her auxiliary monitor still floating where it was previously requested. The screen bore a digital document detailing several lines of client information and requisition data. It was a business report of some sorts but it was actually structured in her typing format as she soon as she realize it. Her upper right limb was just finishing with signing the article before her strange episode came to pass.

Freeing more of her still body, she then pivoted her torso and turned to her flanks. Around her were congregated stacks of steel and lumber and an array of large tracked machines purposed with excavating the surrounding dirt and the lifting of heavy equipment. Figures both small and tall walked to their tasked destinations. Rel could tie many of the faces to the names she could recall. Many of the individuals were clearly human while a smaller number of the more dynamic appearing entities were obviously monsters. Everyone however wore jeans and bright orange and yellow vests and helmets. There was no doubt about it; she was in a construction site.

It disgusted Rel that something so minor and now believingly insignificant could actually derail her train of thought while she worked. Granted, some interruptions were not uncommon for her but neither could they have the capacity to inflict such an amnesiac tendency. Her visor continued its scan of the area before giving off an uncharacteristic jitter once her visual sensors swept over the natural backdrop of Mt. Ebott in the distance. Curious. It wasn't the first time something could obscure her vision in such away. It was actually during her final days in the Underground did something trigger such behavior. Actually, it was around the same time the human named Frisk had fallen into the Underground. Whatever unexplained anomaly that occurred derived from a gravitonic and quantum disruption as Rel compiled. A very small happenstance but noticeable nevertheless. She had then recalled that Frisk had recently disappeared but the fact currently remained irrelevant.

Finishing up her duties and clocking out, she found the time to depart from her station and walked toward a small cliff face separating the work site from the City of Ebott's neighboring outskirts. The visual fluctuations became more apparent but eventually subsided as her drew closer to the sole mountain in the region. It seemed clear now that the disturbance seemed more localized than what she had originally believed. The assessment seemed true as she picked up a trio of individuals making their way into the forest. The find at first seemed coincidental until the same jittering began to spike as she looked in their direction. To Rel, it seemed reasonably to conclude that she had found the source of her earlier complication however strange it appeared to be.

If she was going to get on with her work and settle this bizarre occurrence, she may have to confront these three to satisfy her suspicions.

Skylar blinked and snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of other voices around her. She asked David after he crashed into the tree, "Ah! Are you alright?" She saw that he healed himself and she turned to the source of another pair of footsteps.

David and....Wait, who are they? They weren't here before..." She looked at the robot confusedly before shaking her head out of the stupor when she remembered the situation and the people around her. She looked to David when he spoke and she nodded to him when he offered his aid, "Th-Thank you! I'd really appreciate your help in finding my little sibling," She wanted to wait for the others to get here, but again, the thought of what happened before still bothered her. She then said to David, accidentally letting it slip she knew his name, "I'm going to go on ahead, David. Come down when you're ready," She then jumped down the hole hoping that the flowers below will break her fall.

It was a long fall, but soon enough she landed on her back, and she groaned as she sat up, "Ouch. Well that was...unpleasant," She then stood up. She looked ahead with determination and she remembered what was going to happen next. Without Undyne or Papyrus here, she wouldn't be able to get out of the trap. Thankfully, she could just avoid it, since she knew it was coming. She started walking ahead.

Erion kept running, going towards Mt. Ebott, eating his toast quickly as he runs, soon arriving near the hole, and seeing David.
"Hey David... ugh... so much deja vu for me right there. Sorry to say that. Ya..." he says, before looking down the hole, and breathing deeply. It was as if some people were not here now, which was strange. He looked at David.
"I... I heard the kid named Frisk was here I guess? Errr... ya... I might just go down there to try to find him..." he says, lowering his voice for one other part.
"This time..." He says, before thinking. He hope nothing bad happens... He just hope no one will try to blow up the mountain or something. If someone does, then someone else goes to stop them.

It wasn't the most productive exchange of glances Rel has ever had. Upon nearly catching up to the trio to which she found had just assembled moments before, her eyes and those of a familiar individual briefly locked to each other. She recognized this individual as Frisk's assistance; Skylar. Curious though what she was doing way out here, especially at entrance of her long abandoned home. It really didn't take Rel long to determine the simple answer, especially when Frisk had just vanished as of late. The other individuals accompanying her, or what it appeared to be just meeting up was another human and a fellow monster; she knew neither of their names unfortunately but mused the idea that would soon change.

Before a question could be asked or a conversation kick started from either entity, Skylar had proceeded ahead and then leapt into Mt. Ebott's circular cavern into the Underground. This further reconfirmed Rel's suspicions but also denied her intent on investigating the unnatural disturbance she had sensed before. "H-hey!" Rel yelled, reaching her one of arms out as gesture to stop as group began jumping into the Underground.

With an annoyed groan, she spread all four of her arms out and summoned her up her powers as she projected a aura glistening of different colors as if her form was that of a prism. The light she generated encompassed her image and folded in of itself, mutating her three-dimension being into a flat two-dimensional aspect before shooting into the air. The contorted vector dived into the hole, quickly ricocheting along the walls before finally meeting the familiar ground. With one more deflection against the earth, the line bounded over everyone and slammed directly into their path. Rel eventually materialized back into the four-dimension from the spasming shape before it converted itself into a wall, preventing access deeper into the underground.

"Sorry, I don't mean to impede you," Rel began has her gaze landed on Skyler specifically though talked as if it was meant for everyone, "I can appreciate you trying to find Frisk and I won't stop you from doing so. But..."

Rel then pointed in Skylar's general direction as her visor's arriving visuals still sputtered like before, "While I am unsure that is any of you noticed it, I detected a quantum disturbance minutes before you came down here. That kind anomaly as we know is unnatural to both monsters and humans and doesn't occur just randomly. Care to explain what that was all about?"

Before I could say anything else, the mystery girl ran off towards the mountain, and she said that she'd appreciate my help... before just jumping into a giant hole that I could have easily flown down. It sure would have cut down on her pain if she let me do that... but something bothered me... she somehow knew my name, despite me never telling her my name. Erion seemed a little out of it, too, and he said something about a dejavu. "Wait... you, too, Erion? It's weird, somehow, it seems like a LOT of people already knew my speech, and they even accused me of repeating it, but that's not possible, right? I made that speech yesterday, the only ones who heard it were me, and you... remember? I had to practice it over the phone because I couldn't quite see the bathroom's mirror?" I shook my head, and picked up Erion as I witnessed the robotic creature somehow flatten herself... and then just float down. That seems oddly familiar... nah, can't be, but at least it saves me from having to float her down, or rebuild her, right? I thought as I flew down the hole, trying to not drop Erion, or start falling, rather than flying down. It took quite a bit of effort, and once I was done, I turned towards the mystery girl, and asked, while trying to catch my breath between words "Hey... how did... you... know... my name?" I'd have explained how I never introduced myself, but I was already exhausted from keeping Erion from falling. I then looked at what became of the ruins, monsterkind's first underground home... it was dusty, but somehow, I doubted that the dust was just from dead monsters. As Erion once explained, dust has appeared on the surface long before monsters have, and dust particles tend to settle on things that haven't been used for a while. Monster dust or not, it still looks kinda creepy... I thought as I tried to move forwards, wondering who, if anyone, would live down here.

Skylar was about to continue, but she had to stop when the robotic monster had blocked her path. She asked with worry and a growing agitation, "What are you doing?!" Why was this monster getting in their way?! She could barely feel herself breathe as her heart pounded. What if the seconds she was losing would mean that the monsters around her would collapse with glassy eyes and no pulses immediately, like it happened before...?! There was almost an impulse for her to just shove the monster out of the way, but she calmed herself down, telling herself that that was something Frisk wouldn't do.

She listened as the monster in front of her asked her question, and Skylar couldn't help but recall how everyone collapsed lifeless during the body swap shenanigans and the events before that. She was responsible...for turning back time? At least, that's what she can guess when the monster in front of her said "Quantum Disturbance". Skylar answered the monster, "I...I don't know if I can explain. I don't even know what I did...! And-And trying to explain it would just make me sound crazy...!" She then face palmed, and answered "Look. Now's not the time to talk about this! I don't know how much time we have, but we need to continue, so can you please let me pass?!"

She looked to David when he asked her how she knew his name. At first, as she looked at him, she couldn't help but see his lifeless body, limp like a doll. While he hadn't turned to dust then, the fact that something happened to everyone still frightened her. She answered him after trying to regain her composure, "We...met before,"

She stopped when she heard laughter from further in the Underground, and she told the group, "C'mon. A froggit needs our help right now," She then tried to move past Rel in order to continue on.

Erion looked at David as he moved down the hole as he though a bit. When David got him down on the floor, he look at David.
"Thanks David.. and ya... I.. kinda have lot to think about for this..." he says as he then moved quickly to get to Skylar.
"Skylar.. right? Geez, hearing what was said... I suspect I am not the only one having a déjà vu here, although with some... differences. I mean, I have a feeling I was more medical or something before or something." he said, hearing what was also said about the quantum disturbance from that robot. He looked at him, and he sighed softly.
"So... I guess lot of people felt something off that happen. Certainly not normal, but I guess we will need to go with it and hope nothing bad happens from this..." he then said calmly to Skylar. Quantum disturbances... geez, lot of scientists before looked into things like that, disturbances without explanations, but living something like this and not being able to explain why... that annoyed Erion a bit. He really wished he could explain it with logic, but with the existence of magic, he guess part of logic was scrapped into a small ball of paper, then was lit up with a match and then thrown out the window into the dumpster...
"Lets... just try to find Frisk here." just end up saying after all this, looking at the group.
"And lets be careful about what is down here. I just hope what I think might happen won't happen again on the surface, or else things might get complicated down here." he then said.

Rel knew honesty and its darker mirror when she heard it. However this was likely thanks to her natural way of detecting behaviors and calculating their presented likelihoods. Skylar in this case, dumbfounding even Rel, was in fact telling the truth; she couldn't explain the unnatural though mostly passive event that transpired minutes ago. Still, the way Skylar tried to explain herself echoed a circumstance or scenario she was involved in prior before bring her to this point of time.

While she would like to press her queries further, Rel could pick up on Skylar's sense of urgency and stress, wanting nothing more to continue ahead past Rel's barricade. Seeing that he shouldn't be getting her answers now and no longer held a valid warrant on suspending their entry, Rel complied and dematerialized her fabricated wall of solid light, opening the path to Skylar and the others. "Fair enough," she said.

It was almost immediately that when Rel brought her screen down did Skylar push forward. Rel didn't stop her but continued speaking, "I won't stop you like that anymore...but I will be tagging along. What ever triggered that disturbance caused me to 'freeze up'. I hope you can understand why I can't have that happen."

"But I've..." I was going to continue on with 'never met you', but apparently, someone decided to cut me off by saying something about a 'froggit needing their help'. Odd... I've never said my name... why would she know it? Perhaps this warrants further study, and a healthy dose of suspicion. I thought as Erion chatted to the girl, now identified somewhat properly as 'Skylar', though, I don't think Erion ever learned her name. Of course, he could have just met her before he met me, or while I was away, it's not like we're connected at the hip, or something, so that was more believable than Skylar knowing my name before even meeting me. The new addition to the team, some sort of robotic monster, insisted on tagging along with us, mainly due to some sort of 'quantum disturbance' that she supposedly detected. "Well, we're not getting anywhere by just standing around, are we? It sounds like an innocent froggit needs our help somewhere deeper in the ruins, so let's go," I ended up saying that after trying to work out why someone would know my name before I said it... and she didn't even say anything like 'oh, are you this 'David' that Erion's been talking about?' which only made it more suspect, but, then again, it's not like I had any enemies that could have been lurking in any bushes near the entrance to the ruins, right? Shortly after telling everyone to get moving, I flew off in the direction of the voice, regardless of whether or not anyone else joined me. I then recalled exactly what I said, and what the strange voices said... whoops, looks like I accidentally repeated what they said, but I obviously meant that said froggit needed us to help it from... whatever thinks they're 'helping' the froggit.

Papyrus

Six months had passed since my friend the human, had released us from the Underground. I being an amazing skeleton finally was able to attain my dream of driving a red sports car. I the Great Papyrus! The one and only! The best of the best! The famous and handsome! Ex-member of the Royal Guard... Finally had achieved my dreams, and now live in the Overworld!

I heard a while back that the human had gone missing, everybody was talking about it until finally the newest whereabouts of the human were talked about, I don't know who found out where my friend was but the lead would be useful in finding the human!

Recently I decided to join the hunt for the human because my skills would be necessary in the navigation of the Underground.

I knew it was time I returned to the Underground.

Papyrus || The Entrance to the Underground

It must have taken me a while to get to Mt. Ebott, but I lived in a village nearby because at times even I the Great Papyrus miss the Underground!

I had everything with me, including my friend Flowey in his little red pot and he didn't seem very happy that I brought him along but I wanted to bring him, he has never quite been happy these few months I don't know why but he is my friend and he really should get out more!

I dashed up the slopes of Mt. Ebott going as fast as my bones could carry me which is relatively fast because I'm not that heavy! I could see the others up ahead the rest of my friends who had gone places and done things. They were talking about something I'm not sure what but as I hustled towards them I was sure they would fill me and my potted companion in on the details.
