"That was not nice!" Starfire exclaimed from above them referring to Joe's actions. Sure she wasn't quite sure about Kabal either. The thing was, she didn't see him do anything wrong quite yet. Now all of a sudden Joe was acting afraid and she flew down toward him. "Why attack out of nowhere when you do not know anything about a person? Or what took place here?"

Just as Joey was getting ready to defend himself against these things even as a human, the sound of crash caught the attention of both parties. He noticed someone not far from him collapse. Now he had a decision to make, try to save this girl or fend off the sand hyenas. Then again, those things were intending to try and eat him, weren't they? If they see me as food, it's likely they might try to eat her too. The sand hyenas saw the collapsed girl too, but continued to advance on Joey. He looked at the girl and by instinct, he wanted to protect. He then looked back at the advancing hyenas. "No! Back! Go away!" He was a bit angry, but it wasn't enough to wolf out yet.

The longer it took him to find a way out of this room made it even harder for Price to keep from turning. He was at the point where he would usually be screaming 'no' by now, but he wasn't. I tried shouting the first time, it didn't do anything. Instead, he just held the side of his head with one hand while keeping the other at his side. Darn it.

Pride surveys the conflict in front of him, and sees an opportunity to "prove" that he was not responsible for the man's death. He would have to be more careful in the future, but for now, he caused a bundle of shadows a few buildings away, in another alley, to assemble into the form of a shadow monster, covered with eyes, teeth, and razor tendrils, and with it, he screamed in the voice of one of the souls in his Stone, before cutting the sound off suddenly by dematerializing the mouth making the noise.

Kimblee was silent for once, approving of the Homunculus's strategy.

Pride himself cowered in imitated fear at the scream, and stuffed himself behind two nearby trash cans, to appear like he was afraid for his life. Let the terror begin, weaklings.

Kabal ceased his attack as Starfire positioned herself between he and Joe. Letting up from his fighting stance, he spoke to both of them.
"I have no interest in furthering this. I have better uses for my time" he spoke apathetically. That was until he heard another loud shriek, and an eldrichian monster, meandering its way towards the three of them. Kabal sneered and raised his swords again.

Tano was out for a while, visions of before the crash began to play in her head the dreams becoming more complicated and bizarre as they played on, with monstrous animals she had encountered in her travels materializing. As they grew in size they chased her in her dream, coming closer, and closer and closer, until finally attacking her. With that, she shot back awake, finding herself still laying on the sand, and with the sound of inhuman cackling out in the distance.

Tano forced herself up, picking up her rifle, and taking shot at the hyenas she saw, picking them off with her plasma rifle with what energy she had left. She picked herself onto her feet and knelt, hoping to get her skin off the sand. @Letmehaveone2

Looking through his beast's eyes and keeping up his own appearance of terror, Pride has his monster suddenly lash out with a single, razor-sharp tendril at Kabal, who seemed to have the most initiative and be the least trusting of his act.

Kimblee tilted his imaginary head. "I almost hope you eat him. He may retain his identity and make interesting company. And the others are certainly no slouches in terms of power."

Joey was both still angry at the hyenas for trying to eat him and also now a bit surprised at the girl's actions. I guess she didn't need protection after all. However, he was still determined to defend himself from those things. He had no idea if this girl knew exactly what he was, but no time to focus on that now. Get rid of these hyenas first then talk or write. The hyenas cowered at the rifle, but now turned on her instead of their original target. Growling at the hyenas, he finally wolfed out.

Price had gotten to the point where all he could do was stand there and fight the demon. Can't...hold...much...longer. He now had a fearful look on his face as he could no longer hold it. "No..." His felt his turn blood-red causing him to now shout the same word. "No!" His fangs showed not too long after he did that causing his endless shouts of "No." to turn into vampire-like hissing. Then he suddenly looked very still as a crazy, nasty smile appeared on his face indicating he was in demon form.

I saw the woman fly down and stared at her awestruck. Not only because she was flying... but she looked exactly like a character from an old cartoon that I used to watch when I was a child. The name escaped me, but... for some reason I sincerely doubted this was yet another cosplayer, I couldn't see any wires holding her up, and it seemed unlikely that she would be able to set something like that up in this alleyway, and after how fast that guy moved... the idea of a flying person didn't seem that far outside of the realm of possibility. I snapped back to the situation around me. "He looked to be threatening a kid with swords, not as if I could just stand by and let some guy murder a kid, ya know?" Then came that ungodly screech.

I looked at the shadow monster dumbstruck. "This... is all just a dream, right? I'm still in my apartment, right? Maybe, I was still so exhausted that I passed out at the cash register... right?" No... this all felt far too real to be a dream. But to be sure... I pinched my arm. Yep. I'm awake. "This isn't real." I began shaking then took a deep breath. I reached into my messenger bag and pulled out a red clip of ammo with a flame symbol on the side. It wasn't ammo infused with dust, obviously, that kind of dust isn't real, but it was explosive ammo. Close enough. I think we needed as much fire power as we could get.

I slammed the scythe into the ground, to keep it steady and avoid the kickback and subsequent change in aim, and aimed through the sights. Hopefully I did this right, or else it's going to be a disastrous outcome. I don't think I have enough time to try and put this back into the sniper configuration, and if that thing comes near me, I'd rather not be up against it with a long range weapon. I fired three bullets at the... thing. Thankfully, the bullets came out the other end smoothly. My parents said that this was a waste of time and money, well look at who's laughing now!

"You cannot simply judge someone by appearances alone," Starfire informed him before she heard screaming a few buildings away and what looked to be a monster. The screaming stopped. When she was about to fly over there to see what was going on, Joe had decided to go after it. She went over and started throwing Starbolts at the shadow monster.

The explosions and starbolts each destroyed portions of Pride's monster, and he wishes he could have gotten more practice controlling constructs, so he could replenish that mass, but he cannot. To make the beast more convincing, he has it stagger every time it is hit, realizing that with the loss of mass, he has a good chance of losing, and so he would want to make sure they couldn't suspect that the monster he created was only a fraction of a greater threat.

When the explosive bullets hit, and Starfire shot her bolts, Kimblee simply commented, "Badass."

Kabal darted to the side, dodging the tendril, and swinging the hook swords, stabbing them into the mass of the tendril, pulling them back to sever it from the larger body. Taking note of the others methods of attack, Kabal followed suit. The eyes of his mask began to glow violet, before firing off a mass of purple energy towards the shadow creature, as he darted forward, stopping abruptly to throw two sawblades at the monster at high speeds, whirling them at high speed to get them lodged deep into the mass of shadow and tendrils.

As the Hyenas began to turn on her, Tano took to shooting as many as she could manage. However, the beasts go to her first, one quickly locking its jaw onto her forearm, and another tackling her to the ground, and digging its teeth into her shoulder. Tano struggled as much as she could, crying out in pain as another hyena took to gnawing on one of her legs. Shortly, she began to fall into shock from the pain and blood loss, not noticing that Joey had taken on a wolf form.

Pride dematerializes the tendril attacked by the hook swords and has the mouths on his beast consume the saw blades with the power of Gluttony. However, the energy blast destroys another chunk of his puppet, and he begins to worry that he cannot win this fight while keeping his identity secure. He materializes a large mouth across the entire front, shoots out two tendrils at each opponent, and has his monster charge forward at top speed, closing the difference fast enough that it should crash into the three shortly after the tendrils do.

Joey noticed this and charged towards the hyenas. Using all his strength, he whacked one off of the girl with his paw sending the hyena sprawling and landing on its back. He then turned to the other two to knock them off as well. He was currently coming from behind them.

Demon Price began drinking all the blood in this room, looking very satisfied. Though that may seem more creepy to some. He would stay here until there was nothing left in here to drink.

Mizn stepped up to the door of the cabin the automaton swiftly open the door to the cabin. Steeping into the cabin it scanned the area trying to determent if the cabin was still occupied. The light from the automaton faintly illuminated the interior of the cabin.

Meta Knight looked around as well to see if there was anyone besides him and Mizn in here. As far as he could tell, the cabin seemed empty and quiet. Most likely because neither one of us are talking. He thought to himself, referring to the 'quiet' part.

@ZeroL Kabal took not of the tendrils coming at him, and managed to dodge them, however, this stil left him in the path of the charging monster.

With hard hit, Kabal was thrown a distance of about a meter behind and to the left from the other two fighters, rolling across the ground and dropping his hook swords a distance away.

Another hyena took part in the frenzy, opening its maw to bite onto Tano's head. With what little energy she had left, she instincty torqued her head to the side, with the hyena locking its jaws onto her helmet, and tearing it from her head. At this moment, Tano felt the pressure on her leg and body release, as the attacking beasts were tossed to the side like dolls. Tano looked up to see what looked like a large wolf attacking the Hyenas. Tano's now revealed rabbit-like ears flattened in fear as she saw this animal. As the one Hyena came to her from the side, her helmet now out of its mouth, Tano utilized her uninjured arm to toss her plasma cutter at it, lodging into the creatures eye and head, as it whined in pain, struggling around before falling dead.

Once he was finished dealing with the hyenas, Joey turned to the girl who now looked fearful of him. He sat down as he usually did to show he was no threat. However, he wasn't sure if she would get the silent message or not. He began to write something in the sand. You gonna be okay? He wanted to look her over, but he didn't wanna move yet.

Demon Price layed down in the blood and continued to drink it. He almost looked like he was basking in it. If a human came in here, they'd be doomed right now.
