Across The Seven Seas

In the land of Merlian, there was a kingdom which was ruled by chaos. Why? It's because of pirates. They broke every law made by the monarchy whenever possible. People are rebelled against the royalty and the pirates were slowly gaining control over the land.

However, one sunny day, the kingdom was attacked by an unknown force.The kingdom wasn't strong enough to fight back due to the divided territory Many people died, but those who survived were forced to stay on a single ship. With the limited space and different lifestyles, will they survive or will they perish?

Arthur Macara

Role: Other crew.

Personality: Arthur is “a nasty piece of work.” That’s atleast what everyone who has fought against him says. He is hot tempered and quick to violence. Fiercely loyal to his friends and merciless to his enemies. He is extremely bad mannered, he swears like a sailor (which he is) and eats like a pig.

Bio: Arthur grew up on the streets. His parents were criminal that were locked up most of the time. He earned his living from petty thievery and pickpocketing. As he grew older and stronger he joined a gang and started to do bigger crimes, many of them involved fighting. Soon he was wanted by the police and he needed a good way to get out of town so he joined up with the pirates.

Hobbies: Fishing, drinking and gambling.

I'm interested, but I'm a bit confused by your plot. Is everyone on the same ship, or did the pirates and royalty just flip-flop positions, i.e. the pirates rule the kingdom and the royalty are on a ship?

I think we're all on the same ship. Some unknown force messed stuff up and the royals and pirates were forced to escape togheter.

Can I reserve First Mate? Also a Noble if they're allowed to be Knights/Kingsguard. That could make for some fun tension with the more aggressive pirates. Maybe captain of the king's security?

Edit: If they're both big positions and you'd rather me pick I'd prefer the king's knight than first mate and can downgrade to regular pirate, i'd just like one on each side

Sir Hector

Name: Sir Hector Pichit

Appearance: large, considerably muscular. Light hardleather armour normally but full Knight's armour (King's personal detail issue) when on official business. Short blond hair, various scars across his body.

Role: Noble (Head of Kingsguard)

Personality: Rather serious most of the time. Absolute loyalty to the King. Very wary of the pirates, generally a very clean man.

Bio(Optional): A prodigy in swordplay from a young age, Sir Hector was Knighted as a very young man. Since he's been a favourite to win Kingdom tournaments, and is widely known as one of the best swordsmen/women in service. Now confined to the boat, he fears dearly for the lives of his knight bretheren left on the surface.

Captain Delaney

Name: Captain Ulysses Delaney

Appearance

Objects that the character managed to obtain (Up to 5(Clothing doesn't count)): a small sewing kit, his cutlass, a whetstone, a book of star maps, and a journal.

Role: Captain

Personality: Ulysses is a stern, somewhat harsh leader. He doesn't speak very much, but when he gives orders he expects to be listened to and obeyed. He’s strongly against the royal family and openly resents having to protect them on his boat. He is undyingly loyal to his crew, and sympathetic to the common man.

Bio(Optional): Little is known about Ulysses. He was born to an extremely poor family, and he worked his way up to being the feared captain of an infamous pirate ship.

Hobbies: reading and drawing star maps, writing
