James tends to be the more responsible of the two, and tends to be a little more reserved than his twin brother. He gets these traits from his father, who is the current President of New Ancora. He isn't necessarily vain, but he has been taught to keep up with appearances. He dresses in fine attire, usually bought at the best shops in Alpha Zone.

Although his usual crowd are the socialites, his personality doesn't always reflect that of a socialite. He is kind. He tries to see the good in people, and tries to show his best self. He is caring and compassionate, and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty if something needs to be done.

He is highly intelligent, and does will in all of his schoolwork. He is the one that is following in his father's footsteps, and one day plans to be the President, just like his father. James takes guidance from him, but usually clashes because of different political views. Whereas his father holds conservative views, James lies on the more liberal spectrum.

Mason, in many ways, is the complete opposite of his twin brother. For one, he is far more emotional (which he gets from their mother), and doesn't hold in his emotions like his brother does. He can be quick to a temper, but his usual jovial attitude keeps that temper in check. He also isn't as responsible as his brother. Since high school, Mason has been the "druggie" of the family. He doesn't dabble in the hard core drugs like Lucid or Hand of the Devil, but he has tried some of the more tame drugs like cocaine and diluted emotion tea. His drug of choice, though, is marijuana. Because he has Zone 0 clearance, he's practically untouchable, which makes him a very popular person to buy weed from. Would it be for his status, and the possibility of tarnishing his father's reputation, he would open up his own dispensary.

Like his brother, he too is intelligent. He competes with his brother constantly academic-wise; both of them have made the Dean's list on numerous occasions, but what's important to them is who has the highest GPA. He is the brother who gets around more than the other, but that's because the crowd Mason usually associates himself with, although socialites, have slightly lower moral standards than the crowd James hangs with.

Both James and Mason were born in the most prestigious hospital of New Ancora, to Henry and Christine Jamison, on a clear March day.

-The Jamison family is one of the most elite families of New Ancora, and currently hold the most political power. Their father, Henry Jamison, is the current president, and has been for years now.-

Even before the presidency, the Jamison family was an extremely wealthy one. Thanks to years and years of success and being in positions of high power, no one from the Jamison family was left wanting. James and Mason were no different. From early infancy, both of them always got what they wanted. Their mother couldn't help but spoil the two. However, their father made sure that it was clear that they needed to work to get what they wanted. Although he wasn't as affectionate as their mother, Henry made sure that the boys knew that they were cared for.

The brothers were inseparable growing up. There was not one place that they didn't go to together, and not one event they didn't hold together. Throughout schooling, they distanced themselves only slightly as they began to hang with different crowds, but at any social event, they arrived together. They were well respected and well liked, and always had their pick of the litter when it came to the girls at school.

The Jamison brothers went to all of the best schools in New Ancora, and when they graduated high school, they had above 4.0 GPA's and full rides to the best college in the Nation. It was around the first year of college that they moved out of their house and into the lavish penthouse apartment in District 1. Both of them had wanted to explore more of Ancora than just Districts 0 and 1, but their father would not let them move to any District past 1. There was also the provision that they would be checked on regularly by their father, and had to keep their grades up.

<Personality:/> Abigail maintains an bubbly personality which is powered by her constant restlessness. Admittedly, she is jaded and somewhat pessimistic and in some cases overly cautious, but she still makes a concerted effort to keep her spirits up and boost the morale of the people she cares about. Abigail is very intelligent but still needs to work on her cunning and instinct. She tends to overanalyse a situation and become paranoid, making up a myriad of possible outcomes.
 
Living in zone Beta has made her into a bit of a smarmy bitch who’s sometimes a little too eager to take the piss out of other people and doesn’t show as much empathy as she should, but that side of Abigail is tempered by a good heart and her determination to do what she thinks is the right thing to do.
 
 
<Biography:/> Abigail was born and raised in District 5. She was always one of those smart kids who got bored incredibly easily, to the point where her parents considered getting her checked for ADHD. As she put it, information retention was just incredibly easy for her - she remembered most of what she was taught and since she was disciplined to remain neat and tidy and organised, things that she needed to remember for later were always written down in notepads, highlighted and packed away carefully on bookshelves in her room. Her childhood was incredibly sheltered with a handful of upper-middle class friends and a couple crushes. Little Abigail initially thought she would find work in robotics, believing that there was a profitable niche in the market for medical robots to completely replace human doctors and nurses. Her future, though successful, seemed as dull as her education had been. She often related her early years to living in a gilded cage. She had everything anyone could ever hope for; a decent chance in life and the capability to go further, but she was never truly satisfied with what she was given. Something was always lacking. She was inescapably bored.
 
This boredom lead her to obsess over programming and robotic engineering as she poured all that pent-up frustration and restlessness into making and doing things to pass the time. Whenever coding an alarm clock just didn’t quite alleviate that feeling of restlessness, Abigail took to the gym. She especially enjoyed gymnastics and parkour, and made a handful of friends through her sporty endeavours. It was actually through her friends that she discovered her love for hacking - after a particularly messy teenage breakup, one of her BFFs tearfully asked Abigail to try and break into her recent ex’s social media accounts and find out who he’s been messaging, and it all snowballed from there. Abigail took courses in software development and used robotics engineering clubs as a bit of stress relief from the deadlines. She excelled, went through higher education, and then decided to rent out a dingy little flat in district 12.
 
Eyebrows were raised. Abigail played it out as if it was some sort of fucked-up gap year; she wanted to ‘truly experience what life had to offer’ and find her own way without the guidance (and plentiful bank account) of her family. In reality, Abigail was smart enough to realise that she could probably make twice as much money doing commission work and hacking into other people’s devices than working a fulltime job in the government as a security researcher. In this day and age, almost everything an individual does leaves a digital footprint - and Abigail was smart enough to connect the dots and tell her clients where their target is going to go based on their digital routine. She worked at this for around a year and a half, charging outrageous prices for relatively simple jobs and still managing to find desperate customers.
 
But eventually Abigail chickened out and retreated back beyond the wall, this time to put her skills to good use. With her intelligence (and her family’s influence) she began training for the BoD, hoping to become an agent and make a living by investigating crimes and assessing the security of law enforcement software. She underestimated what she was getting into when she requested to train under Brooks Lockwood in District 17, but nobody bothered to warn her beforehand. She’s been assigned to District 17 for 2 years now; whilst she’s still a bit wet behind the ears, she’s certainly starting to sober up and be exposed to the worst zone Beta has to offer.
 
<Other:/> All of Abigail’s hacking gadgets are immediately equipped with a remote self-destruct switch. Nothing fancy, it just causes the microchip/machine to short circuit. She’d rather sacrifice a smartphone than have her entire database hacked into.

Brooks Lockwood is, first and foremost, a man with very loose morals. His stubborn determination to ‘do the right thing’ means that he will genuinely do whatever it takes in order to get the job done, but will sometimes dare to go against his superiors if he feels something isn’t right, that someone may be getting falsely accused or that there’s more to the story than meets the eye. He has very little patience for people who get in his way and is known to cuss and yell when he’s angry - and Brooks spends more time being pissed off than he does sleeping. He’s a cynical, rude, manipulative bastard who wouldn’t waste a minute telling someone exactly what he thought about them, but ultimately his heart is in the right place and it’s the lifestyle that made him into what he is today.

Brooks was born in District 7. He had an easy childhood, breezed through his education with almost no complaints and troubles. As he grew up his father began voicing his wishes for Brooks to take up his, until at that point, family run business mantle and work alongside him and act as an heir. However, Brooks felt strongly directed towards law enforcement. Whether it was all the movies, the wish to serve his city, or just the want for authority; Brooks was dead set on following his desire.

Obviously, without his family’s support, it would have to be done through tougher and laboursome methods. The moment Brooks became eligible to join law enforcement, he directed himself to the nearest neighbourhood station and signed up. This began Brooks’ grueling and lonesome climb to the top, his end goal being that of joining the Bureau of Defence.
His father grew to dislike him more and more as each year Brooks seemed to remain dedicated to force, the only contact in his family being his mother who he only rarely spoke to due to the tiresome rookie hours and appropriate ass-kissing he had to do in order to remain a step above others.

At the age of twenty-four Brooks found the alleged love of his life; someone that he had promised to stay true to in good and both bad. Obviously after the initial year, Brooks’ focus returned back to his career, neglecting his marriage. After several more years of struggling to climb up the ranks, Brooks eventually pulled himself into the B.O.D which inevitably lead to the break of marriage between him and his now ex-wife. With nothing really tying him to Zone Alpha anymore - his family no longer wanted to see him and his wife recently left him - Brooks made the decision to request district 17 as his district, wanting some more hands-on experience with the crime in the city.

With nothing BUT his career left to focus on, Brooks dedicated the next 15 years to the Bureau and on his 13th he was given Abigail as a partner to train. The two grew a certain fondness to one another.

@DinoNuts Okay... first off... ten thousand points to you for Alec Baldwin. I think you and I will get along just fine. Secondly, welcome aboard! Thirdly... this is a great character and I like him a lot. I just didn't see any mention as to why he is working district 17 when he was born in district 7. Does he still live in 7 and just travels to 17 for work? Or did he move to 17 permanently? If the latter, what caused that move?

@YoshiSkittlez I was thinking that it could be a combination of him not having had an important enough of a family to secure him a cushy job in zone alpha, and the fact that he just wanted to be able to get shit done and specifcally asked for 17. I'll add it into the CS at some point.
