Ed Penior

Location: Inside Frost International
Skills: Magic: Thamaturgy (Force); Sympathetic (Healing)

Both Ed and Mage were thrown through a wall. That hurt like hell. Ed stumbled trying to get his senses back together. Everything hurt. Nothing seemed broken at least. Though a concussion was possible. He pulled at his magic twisting it around both himself and his counterpart. Healing them. Sort of. It was enough to ease the pain.

Mage nodded at Ed. Appreciating the healing, and taking the offensive. He moved through the rubble back into the other room. He immediately started throwing force blasts. A blunt tool, but good at distracting and bruising and knocking someone off balance. The first couple Quicksilver dodged, but two hit him hard, knocking him over. Perfect. Now he hoped Klara would take advantage of the downed speedster.

Bethany watched as Ed and Mage were able to deal with Juggernaut and sending him to the streets below. "Well one less thing that we have to actually worry about." Bethany said, as they only had to deal with Black Tom as well as Quicksilver who was still being annoying as hell and destroying things before turning his attention towards the two of them. Bethany and her counterpart were knocked down onto the ground feeling the wind getting knocked out of her again as he did the same thing to the two Eds but sending through a wall that looked pretty painful.

"You really are annoying as hell you know that right?" Nightlocke said as she slowly started to get back up to her feet as well as Bethany to, they both used their powers at the same time to restrain Quicksilver as Ed and Mage knocked him down as well to. Bethany wasn't sure how long they were able to hold him down for, but hopefully someone would be able to knock Quicksilver out for good.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Warehouse Hideout – New York City
Skills: Illusion Casting - Camouflage; Enhanced Intuition; Pyrokinetic Attacks;

Once Pietro was contained, Antoniette felt a little more secure but she still wasn’t completely comfortable with the situation. She got to her feet after Guin came over but felt bad that Guin was having some sort of panic attack over everything that was happening. Antoinette herself was feeling mentally unstable still, although it was manageable but that certainly wasn’t helping the situation. If this was her parallel self trying to take over, what had happened to cause this world’s Antoinette to want to hurt people?
Antoinette puzzled over this and Dr. Strange’s answer to Runa’s suggestion when the wall exploded. She flinched from the sound and turned to face the intruders. Four people walked into the room and Antoinette’s eyes widened as they seemed to know Pietro and then one of them turned invisible. Antoinette observed the other three she could see. Pietro gave them a quick run-down on what they could do, so now all she needed to do was pick one.
Lance’s father had hulked out again and was going for a disabled Pietro, thanks to the handcuffs but the others were having rubble thrown at them. A piece narrowly missed Antoinette and she turned her focus on the assailants. Those were the two strong ones and one had even stronger durability. They were going to be hard to take down but everyone had a weak point, Antoinette just had to deduce what theirs was.
Letting the outside noise fade into the background, Antoinette’s purple eye glowed as she tapped into something new, she had been working on. They had someone who could turn invisible, well Antoinette had been practicing with her illusions to do something similar. It was like playing with light and one moment Antoinette was there and the next, she had blended perfectly into her surroundings. And then she was moving, watching Nekra and Frenzy as they continued to attack. Using her intuition, Antoinette got the tingling sensation through her body that a head attack, aiming for the eyes, would be her best option. At least if they were in a blind rage, their attacks would be chaotic. Nekra could go either way with her ability to use emotional outbursts but that was a chance Antoinette would have to risk as she set up two pyro attacks for Frenzy and Nekra’s eyes.
The fire shot from Antoinette’s fingers, temporarily revealing her position but she didn’t stop moving. The coloured fire flew at their intended targets, temporarily blinding Nekra and successfully burning parts of Frenzy’s face. Antoinette didn’t give herself time to be grateful for the small victory. She needed to keep moving to lessen her chance of being attacked.

Runa Baldurdattir & Guin Stark

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills: Asgardian Magic, Darkness Manipulation and Telepathy (Mind Switch)

Guin's ears were ringing slightly from the explosion that took out the wall. What Strange had proposed terrified the hell out of her - she didn't want to be corrupted by whatever Stockholm Syndrome Poster Girl version of her existed in this world. Everything that she had seen so far indicated that this world's Guin Stark was probably better off dead than alive; and that her choices were seriously fucked up. She had gotten Lance killed here after all. And apparently was with Pietro, despite him being a sadistic murderer.

Bizarrely, the entrance of the Dracula Queens or whoever they were somehow helped with Guin's panic attack. Seeing horrifying people like Pyro, who had criminally bad fashion taste for a gay man, and incredibly tall and capable women like Frenzy, who Guin noted stood at about seven feet tall with interest, was helpful. (She didn't like the way Phantazia was talking to Pietro, though. You two never dated or anything, right? she asked). The slight distraction though wasn't as helpful, as Guin ended up getting knocked to the ground by a piece of rubble.

"Okay, that was so fucking rude!" Guin complained, hopping back up to her feet, and deciding to do something potentially very stupid. She had read about Frenzy in SHIELD files before. She basically had all of the good fighting powers in one. Guin charged at Frenzy. Frenzy, somehow, didn't move out of the way. Guin made contact and body-hopped, putting Frenzy in her body, and then taking over Frenzy's for herself. "Woah, I feel like Wonder Woman..." Guin said, before instantly grabbing Nekra and flinging her around like a ragdoll, marveling in her own strength. She then let go, sending Nekra flying into Pyro. Pyro fell over like a bowling pin, although it seemed he wasn't as hurt as she would have liked.

Guin was on a roll though, so she didn't stop. She used her native power of telepathy, focusing for a moment, and managing to pinpoint where Phantazia was. She then kicked at Phantazia, grazing her rather than hitting her dead-on, but enough to make the weird woman at least stumble some.

Meanwhile, Runa was not feeling better after all of this. She was feeling more stressed. They had a limited amount of time to return home, before risking permanent alterations to personalities. She didn't want to have her Lance mixed with the Lance from this reality. If things didn't get better soon, then she figured it would be time to play her Hail Mary - something she wasn't even certain would really work, but it would be worth a shot... If her grandmother could get them home, then she had to at least try to reach out to her, see if that multiversal being was available... "Hold still," Runa told Pietro, before attempting to vanish his handcuffs. It took her two tries, basically because he kept moving around and dodging the Hulk, but she managed to make them disappear, restoring his speed to him. "Don't kill anyone on our side," she cautioned him.

She then focused on the next problem. They had an invisible opponent. Something weird was going on with Guin, Runa figured someone else could deal with that, she hadn't been paying attention to see that Guin had swapped bodies. Runa then concentrated on her magics again, before pulling a rune and casting, forcing Phantazia to become visible once again. Once she could see her opponent, Runa then blasted her with darkness, injuring her somewhat. "Strange, if you could send them to the Mirror Dimension, that would be much appreciated!"

"I wasn't planning on it!" Pietro protested to Runa with a bit of an eye roll, before deciding to answer Guin's question mentally. Hell no. She's crazy, a bit weird, and just overall flirty, it gets really annoying really quickly. She's just weird as I said, though she really needs to just not be super annoying. And I told you remember? You are literally the only person that I have ever dated, he ended up responding to her.

Guin's hold on the switch with Frenzy would slip, and she'd find herself back in her own body after a few moments. Frenzy was very much not happy with Guin essentially doing that, and proceeded to charge directly at her. She ended up grabbing Guin by the throat, before proceeding to slam her down to the ground hard, leaving a bit of a crater, and Guin would be able to tell that she likely had a few broken ribs at the least, along with several bruises from the impact. Frenzy was about to start punching her, but before she could there was a flash of green light that slammed into Frenzy, knocking her away and causing her to let go of Guin.

Guina are you okay???? Pietro asked her, turning to look towards where she was, but unfortunately that took his attention away from the rampaging Hulk who still wanted to kill him, which resulted in him taking a direct hit of a punch and getting thrown into a wall.

"...Honestly, question is who to fight at this rate..." Lance muttered, over by Guin now (the blast that knocked Frenzy away clearly came from him) though his skin was changing colors. "Any suggestions on who you think I should go after? Either rampaging Hulk, or the woman whose apparently causing issues... And nothing isn't broken right? Or I guess I should ask majorly broken?" he asked her, before helping her back up onto her feet. She surprisingly didn't have as many broken bones as you would think, only the ribs as mentioned currently.

Pyro was not too thrilled about being knocked around, and he got back up onto his feet after being knocked over. He instantly started lighting things on fire. The flames started soaring all over the room, heading straight for where Runa was now at this point. However, Klara stepped forward and sent a tidal wave of water, which crashed into the flames, filling the room a bit with steam at this point really. "Well this is a fun thing isn't it?" Klara commented.

Thor had more of backed away from the fight, though he did have his hammer in hand, and it was almost like he was a bit hesitant to join in on the fighting. Lance's counterpart seemed to have slipped out of the room at some point, while Lana had electricity crackling along her arms as she started to fly into the air.

Strange seemed to be contemplating the situation, "I'll send them to the mirror dimension as a last resort, as it also would only be a temporary solution, we would not want to leave them there indefinitely," he said to Runa, though he did open up a portal underneath Pyro, causing him to fall into it, closed the portal, before opening it again 20 feet in the air and letting him drop to the ground.

"Oh come on Quicksilver, things aren't that bad, why do you speak so poorly of me? Why are you hanging around these losers anyway?" Phantazia said with a smirk, despite having been revealed from her invisibility and then knocked over by Runa. She ended up waving her hand slightly, and Runa would feel a surging pain throughout her body, which seemed currently to be the only thing that Phantazia had ended up doing. Luckily for Annie, no one seemed to notice her, and Nekra seemed to finally start recovering from being blinded by her.

Frost International Building
"Thank you for the compliment, I do try," Quicksilver said with a bit of a smirk towards Nightlocke when she said that he was super annoying. Of course he'd take that as a compliment, he really didn't care too much with regards to that sort of thing.

Mary ended up deciding to just knock Cassidy out already, and just walked over and punched the guy super hard in the head, knocking him out for a while anyway (hopefully) since that ensured they didn't have to worry about him. Quicksilver was more or less being held in place there, but her attention got pulled away as Klara managed to push her way out of the rubble that she had been buried underneath, and she looked mad.

She didn't even grab her sword as she got up from the rubble. The speedster was starting to move very quickly in order to break free from the two holding him in place. However, unluckily for him, he just barely wasn't able to break free (he rolled an 11 compared to a 12 for resistance and breaking free) before Klara got over to where he was. She was breathing a bit hard, but that didn't stop her from swinging her fist and slamming it directly into Quicksilver's side.

With her strength behind it, the speedster was sent flying and crashing through a wall, parts of the ceiling fell down with him, which then resulted in another crack and the floor underneath where he had landed gave way too. So he at least had landed one floor below them, though it was a bit difficult from where they were to tell if he was still conscious or whatever, but he did seem to not be moving, at least immediately right now anyway.

"...Well that was fun..." Mary commented, before she leaned up against one of the still standing walls (which at this point was fairly few and far between). "How often do these guys bug you all anyway?"

"Since I've been here? Eh, once every few weeks or so, nothing too big really. Just more of an annoying inconvenience at this point," Klara responded with a bit of a shrug. She seemed alright for the most part, just bruised and overly annoyed with being thrown through a wall. "It just depends on if they feel like they want to go crazy and attack us or whatever, though usually they are beaten back after a little while. Though I guess we kind of threw Juggernaut out, so odds are he might pop up again sometime soon if I had to guess."

Ed touched Bethany and Mary gently. Orange light then surrounded each of them. After a moment the light disappeared and their wounds would be better. He sighed. "I know where the others are. Or at least were a few minutes ago." He was ready to leave this damn building and reunite with the others. He wanted to go home. This place was hurting his head. The memories pressing against him were uncomfortable and while it wasn't totally different it was different enough. He couldn't really trust himself.

While Ed healed the two from his team. Mage healed Nightlock and Klara. Stepping up to them matching Ed's motions. His orange light surrounds his pair. And they too are healed of their wounds. "So you will be on your way then?" Mage asked as the orange light left the room completely.

"I think that's for the best." Ed said glancing at Mary. "I don't know about you, but I don't particularly want to wait around for Juggernaut to return." Ed looked at Klara next. Wanting to ask her to come with them to meet the others. He wanted to see if her meeting her "counterpart" would help the situation. He hoped that it would fix whatever was wrong. Though, a part of him feared it wouldn't help the situation, but only make it worse.

As Antoinette moved about the room she noticed the others starting to engage in their own fighting so she decided to keep on Nekra for the time being. The woman was starting to recover from being temporarily blinded so Antoinette had to act fast. She used her intuition to try and uncover some hidden fear in Nekra but came up blank. She had been hoping to create an illusion that only Nekra would see but with having no sense of direction how to take it, Antoinette didn’t want to risk it.
She shifted her focus and concentrated another pyrokinetic attack on Nekra but aimed for her body this time. She only managed to hit her with some sparks but followed it up quickly with another attack to her face. Fire erupted over Nekra’s face and Antoinette succeeded in burning her pretty badly.

Bethany watched as Klara started to get up and out of the rubble that she was trapped under thanks to Quicksilver, she could feel him trying to break free and was doing her best to keep him in place along with her counterpart. Luckily Mary was able to knock out Black Tom and that was one less thing that they'd have to actually worry about. Klara walked up to Quicksilver and winced when she punched him rather hard and knocking him through a wall, and then she heard another loud crashing sound as the floor under Quicksilver and sending him down to the next floor. "Ouch that looked like it hurt." Nightlocke said as she looked towards her counterpart and she nodded back slightly.

Bethany looked towards Ed as he came up to her and Mary and she started to feel a lot better now after he had healed him, feeling the pain quickly leaving she turned to him. "Thank you." Bethany said she wasnt sure if Quicksilver was knocked out or not but she didn't really want to deal with him again as she looked towards Ed. "If you give me a location I could try and shadow travel us over there." Bethany offered, she didn't really want to end up having to walk over there or anything really though and that would take forever.

Runa Baldurdattir & Guin Stark

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills: Asgardian Magic, Darkness Manipulation and Telepathy

That was part of the trouble of her powers - Guin couldn't really control or protect her own body. So when Frenzy managed to throw off the switch, Guin was basically vulnerable to attack, her own body having not really moved much. The next thing Guin knew, Frenzy had her by the throat. She couldn't breathe, her windpipe crushed as she struggled, trying to breathe desperately. Help!!!!! Guin screamed to Pietro mentally. Her heart was pounding desperately, as every fiber of Guin's being really how very close to being killed she was.

Then, her body was slammed into the ground, and Guin wasn't even aware of the small crater formed. All she felt was immense pain. A few of her ribs were broken and she was heavily bruised. It could've been oh so much worse - but it still hurt like hell. Oww... Help... Guin croaked out to Pietro mentally. She barely registered a flash of green light knocking Frenzy out of the way, keeping her from actually being murdered. "I think my ribs are broken..." she admitted to Lance. Her body ached as he helped her up to her feet. Moving wasn't fun. Breathing hurt like hell, her diaphragm pushing on her ribs. "Go after the bitch who tried to kill me."

Meanwhile, Runa couldn't help but be annoyed by Strange's nonchalant attitude about all of this. Her friends weren't exactly very durable and these attackers seemed to be nothing but durable. Plus, a moment later, an intense pain started to surge through Runa's body, courtesy of Phantazia. "Mewling witch!" Runa cursed, before focusing her energies for her next round of moves. She decided to first get rid of some of the other players, focusing through the pain going through her body. She teleported Pyro away, hoping to put him into the ocean, but managing to put him in a puddle down the street. She teleported Phantazia into the doorway, having instead wanting to put her in a volcano.

It seemed like whatever Phantazia had done, it had impacted Runa's powers - her aim wasn't at precise when it came to her magic. That or perhaps Strange had put up some sort of enchantments to lessen the impact of magic that was not his own in his space. Either way, Runa then sent out a blast of darkness, hitting Frenzy and knocking her backwards. Meanwhile, Guin used her telepathy, knocking Nekra out and slowing Frenzy down.

Guess what, getting punched by the Hulk sucks, Pietro responded mentally to Guin. Sorry I couldn't get over there, kind of got distracted.

"Right, Frenzy, seems simple enough right?" Lance commented with a shrug, before he sent a blast of light at her. It hit, but it didn't seem to phase her all that much currently. Actually, she seemed more then a bit annoyed with everyone, and charged at him, knocking him into a wall.

After another few minutes, Pietro managed to get away from the Hulk, who now just sort of seemed to be throwing a bit of a temper tantrum or something like that. It was a bit hard to say what it was he was doing really. Anyway, Pietro raced over to Guin now, "Ok, well these guys are getting a bit annoying. Don't you think? At least you took Nekra out which takes one of their really durable members out, but Frenzy is going to be a problem I think..."

Frenzy of course decided now was the time to start throwing big chunks of rubble at people again. The rocks that she threw right at Guin and Pietro, well the speedster managed to barely speed them out of the way from the rocks. The ones aimed for Annie also swung out wide, missing her a bit, though one did manage to hit her, but only enough to cause her to stumble.

Phantazia seemed to not be too thrilled with Runa still, and the pain that shot through Runa's body would start to gradually get worse and more painful. Though she didn't seem to do anything more then that aside from starting to float up into the air.

Still trying to hit everyone else with rubble, Frenzy didn't notice for some strange reason the big green person who punched her in the head, sending her flying into a wall. Looked like Lance had shifted, as it was clearly the mini Hulk, who was only about half a foot taller then she was. Clearly annoyed she ended up charging forward and punching him with enough force to knock him back.

Meanwhile, Klara wandered over to where Pietro and Guin were. "Well, it looks like you could use maybe some healing," she commented, as water swirled from her hand, before waving around Guin a bit to help ease her pain.

Of course, at this moment, Pyro decided to race back into the area, sounding a bit out of breath from the run, "That was annoying!" he yelled at them, before he shot off some fire from his flamethrowers and started working to set the entire building on fire.

Frost International Building
"Yeah, I mean, you guys could try to go off places or whatever, have fun with that." Klara commented with a shrug, before kicking a piece of furniture out of the way to clear a spot for her to sit down on the ground. "Honestly, Midgard is so weird sometimes. All you lot seem to do is fight each other, I mean, a good fight is always fun, and so are adventures, but still, the fact that the city can't go a week or so without some sort of big fight taking place is just kind of pathetic."

"Is it really that bad?" Mary couldn't help but ask, thinking this was a bit weird.

"Yeah, if it isn't the Brotherhood fighting us, it's the other group, whatever they call themselves I don't know really. If they aren't fighting us, they are fighting the Brotherhood. It's just this endless loop that happens. You get used to it."

"Uh, okay the Brotherhood makes sense, but who exactly is in that other group you mentioned? And why are you all fighting them, and what for?"

"Perhaps I can answer a few of your questions," a voice commented, as Emma Frost reappeared in the room. "The others went to go track down and ensure that Juggernaut won't be a bother for a while yet. Now, the group she's referring to is made up of the washed up leftovers of the Avengers, though they don't use that name now. What was the name now? I think they referred to themselves as the Defenders now. Though they can be a bit of a thorn in the side at times. As for why all the fighting? Well, I thought that would have been obvious dear. It's for control of New York."

"...Control... of New York?"

"Yes, you see. The Brotherhood want to take over the city and eradicate all humans within the city..."

"Yeah, Magneto has tried that before."

"The Defenders wish to keep everything the same. Which honestly is a bit sad and pathetic really. Things definitely got a bit worse for that group when Stark died, though not entirely sure about why they want to keep it the same. Honestly, with the trouble that has gone on for them, not sure why they even truly fight anymore."

She had a feeling that she was likely not going to like the answer to the next question she had, or the whole fact that Emma seemed to be contemplating whether to tell them something. Mary knew it was a bad idea to trust Emma Frost, and now it seemed like the universe kept wanting to prove her right. "And why exactly are you interested in? Why are you fighting?"

"Isn't it obvious? We want to rule over the city. Not so extreme as Magneto, humans and normal people are necessary to run the world, as we are a bit of a minority. But power is everything."

"This isn't our world. We don't belong here." He said to Klara. "We need to find the rest of our group and find a way to get back to our world. We have our own battles to fight there." She wasn't wrong, there was so much fighting. He turned to Beth and gave her the direction of the others, and about how far away they were. "Sorry I can't give coordinates or anything. I'd need different tools for that." He didn't have a map of the city in his pocket.

He listened to Frost and wasn't surprised by her answer. He wasn't even surprised that his counterpart worked with her. Keeping the status quo was useless. This place needed someone in charge. And while Ed wasn't certain how Magneto was here, if he was anything like the one back home working for him was not something Ed would consider doing. And their differences weren't that much. Not really. So he didn't blame Mage. Even though this wasn't his battlefield. But that was the way it was.

Bethany leaned back slightly as she looked towards Ed for a moment and sighed slightly and shook her head a little bit, she wasn't sure where the others were and she was pretty sure that the others could be in trouble as well to. Her attention turned over towards Emma as she came over finally after the fighting was all said and done conveniently. She listened to Emma as she started to explain she was pretty sure that they couldn't trust Emma really.

"We really should go and try finding our people though." Bethany said as she looked towards Ed who knew where they were now, maybe they stumbled upon this Defenders group and they could head over there.

Shortly after Antoinette's attack on Nekra, she was knocked out and Antoinette moved her attention elsewhere. She had been hit by one of Frenzy's throws but it didn't do much damage as Antoinette stumbled back. Luckily, the attack didn't hinder her camouflage and she remained hidden.
Antoinette moved around to get a better angle on Frenzy so she could hit her with a pyro attack and do some damage. She wasn't sure how long the groups were going to last here. Not now that Pyro was trying to set the building on fire.
Once in range, Antoinette shot fireworks from her hands and they showered over Frenzy's face, blinding her temporarily. She moved away from the location she fired from before speaking loudly.
"Dr Strange, sir. Maybe we should try and find an exit!" If they didn't find a way to knock out Pyro, they would have to do so with the building burning down around them. Leaving now might be the better option.

Runa Baldurdattir & Guin Stark

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills: Asgardian Magic, Darkness Manipulation, Darkness Constructs and Telepathy, Telepathic Attacks

Guin bit down on the inside of her cheek in order to bear the pain, as Pietro sped her out of the way of Frenzy's boulders - having a few broken ribs was the worst. "It would be nice if THE FUCKING DEFENDERS, I DON'T KNOW, DEFENDED!" Guin shouted. She was a little bit pissed off. Best she could tell, Thor and Doctor Strange were doing basically nothing to help out here. She expected better from them, as they were formidable heroes in their world - but here, they seemed to just be trash. She felt a bit better when Klara came over, using her water powers to heal Guin Ă  la Katara - well, more of soothe and comfort her. It helped to take the edge off.

And that allowed Guin to focus on one of the big threats they had to deal with at the moment - namely, the Australian asshole who was setting everything on fire. "Klara, I need you to put out the fire, okay?" Guin instructed, a little annoyed the water goddess hadn't just drowned Pyro already. Guin closed her eyes and reached out with her telepathy, grabbing onto Pyro's mind. At first, she was only making him drowsy - just more and more sleepy - but she then managed to accomplish her task, knocking him unconscious. The fire remained however - hence Klara was needed.

Meanwhile, Runa was PISSED at Phantazia. "Cease your magics!" Runa demanded. Her eyes flashed black for a moment, before Runa used her ability over darkness to send darkness, made thick and real, into Phantazia's head. She forced the darkness on through via the nose and the ears, adding more and more, causing the pressure inside of Phantazia's head to build and build. As Phantazia's suffering increased, Runa's violent pain began to lessen. But she was still enraged, still furious, still feeling echoes of that pain. So Runa persisted, having the end goal of making Phantazia's head explode from the pressure build up.

She didn't manage to get that far, however. Phantazia's pain was immense and she dropped to the ground, on her knees. Runa was vaguely aware that someone needed to deal with the fire and with Frenzy, but she didn't care. She just wanted revenge for this slight. She walked up to Phantazia, staring at her with anger and hatred. "You should know better than to face a sorceress of Asgard, girl," Runa scolded. A lie then fell from her lips - one she only needed someone to deny in order to make real. "You were never born," she said.

Strange seemed to raise an eyebrow a bit at Guin's outburst. Thor wasn't exactly doing much at all though, as he looked a bit unsure of what to do, though he wasn't touching Mjolnir, despite the hammer just sitting on the ground nearby. "Actually, what I have been doing was to ensure that we don't all end up buried underneath a mountain of rubble. The building is not the sturdiest of places to begin with, and losing a big part of a wall will do wonders to the structural stability of the building. Unless you wish for everything to come crashing down, at least then we wouldn't have to worry about the building being on fire. The structure needed to be held up, especially since we have not one, but two hulks throwing people around or throwing a temper tantrum."

"I've got the fires, don't worry," Klara said instantly, before sending a large tidal wave of water that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, and started throwing it around to put the fire out. It took a few minutes, but she managed to put out the fire, though everyone in the area would end up somewhat wet from the water, that ended up coating the entire room. One thing would be a bit more apparent though with the fire gone, and that was that the building was not holding up to well and looked to be a bit unstable. Strange was currently ensuring that it wouldn't fall on them for the moment, so that was something at least right?

"This is getting a bit ridiculous..." Strange muttered, as the Hulk finally seemed to think about going after one of the few enemies who were still standing. In this case, that being Frenzy thankfully! As if to also prove Strange's point with regards to the building, he managed to grab Frenzy in her attempt to regain her vision, before proceeding to throw her through another wall, one that before had been virtually untouched by the chaos or the fire from before.

"Uh... I think getting out of here or fixing the building might be the best idea..." Pietro commented, though it did help that the group seemingly had dealt with everyone else already, aside from Frenzy and Phantazia at this point.

Well, more of just Frenzy at this point, as before Phantazia could say anything to potentially counteract Runa's lie, a lightning bolt shot out of no where and hit her. Due to Phantazia already being in severe pain because of Runa, and despite the bolt not being super powerful, she ended up passing out. Lana landed on the ground, having been flying up in the air to avoid the chaos. Of course, she didn't seem to be super used to actually using her electrical powers, but she did seem to have mainly been looking for a clear shot rather then standing by doing nothing. "Well, this is fun to deal with..." she ended up commenting.

A moment later, the Hulk got thrown back into the room, as Frenzy had punched him and sent him flying. "We really need to bolster how strong the walls are in this place... But then again it usually doesn't take this much damage as the others are usually around, but they are off dealing with stuff elsewhere..." she added to Runa, sort of watching the commotion in a way. The walls were continuously shaking at this point, and they really needed to potentially do something.

"Hey Strange, you know, since there is only one whose causing issues, can you maybe send her into the mirror dimension, at least long enough so we can get out of here or something before the building likely crashes onto us?" Klara then asked, though now she was using the water that she had created, starting to use it to help brace the roof to ensure that perhaps they weren't going to get buried.

He looked more then a little bit annoyed with them all apparently wanting him to fix or solve everything. Though the idea of sending Frenzy by herself into the mirror dimension was appealing. Though that then left the issue of the two hulks in the room. Which likely would destroy the building itself if they weren't careful. "Fine," he commented, before waving his hand as Frenzy fell through a portal. Though she wasn't the only one to fall through a portal. As both the Hulk, and Lance, who had also just thrown a punch at Frenzy, both fell through portals and disappeared. "All in the mirror dimension until they calm down. Any questions? No? Good," he said, clearly still annoyed at this whole thing. Of course, he started using magic to keep trying to repair the building itself. "I was waiting for there to be less commotion to try and repair the damage, since there likely would have been more damage done."

"...Did he just leave Frenzy in some weird dimension with not just one, but two hulks?" Pietro asked, not too sure what else to say about that.

"What should we do about this group? You know, the ones that are still here?" Klara asked, referring to Nekra, Pyro and Phantazia who all were still there.

"I do not care, you could toss them into the nearest ocean for all I care. Don't expect me to solve all your problems for you."

Frost International Building
"I mean, fun for you, it just sucks the rest of us are stuck with it," Klara just responded with a bit of a shrug. "Not sure why you want to go head over there still, I get your friends are there or whatever, but the Defenders aren't exactly a fun group to be around either at times. So good luck with them."

"Well, we still have to meet up with everyone else though soooo, yeah, all for getting the hell out of here," Mary said, wanting very much to get the hell out of there right now. This was weird, and more then a bit strange to say the least. She wasn't even really sure how long they were going to be stuck there.

Emma seemed to be thinking about something, but she wasn't saying anything at the moment. However, due to Ed's telepathic resistance, he could tell what she was doing. At least, it seemed like she was using her telepathy to scan his thoughts and memories, but there likely was a chance that she might have been doing that for the other two too. She ended up with a bit of an amused expression on her face, and for a split second, he'd be able to catch a glimpse of her eyes seeming flickering over towards where Klara was for a moment, it would be apparent though, that she seemed to know more about that entire situation. He'd also know, that she tried to mess with his mind a little more, but wasn't able to. Which likely was not a good thing probably. "Well, if you insist upon leaving so soon to go to them, feel free to leave then if you so wish."

"Yeah, have fun with that."

"Klara, mind seeing if you can get rid of some of the rubble that you knocked through the floor, and double check to ensure that Quicksilver isn't there still..."

"No worries, I've got this," she commented, before getting back up off the floor and going to the hole that led to the rubble pile on the floor below, before jumping down to the floor below.

"Nightlock, Mage, if one of you, or both of you, wouldn't mind moving this one to one of the lower levels, see if you can wake him up and figure out a few things about what the Brotherhood might be up to as of late," she added to them, motioning towards Cassidy, who was still knocked out on the ground nearby.

Ed frowned. It was a natural reaction to Emma Frost trying to touch his mind. He glanced at Mage. Had he been controlled? He hoped not. For Mage's sake. "Yes, I think we insist. Thank you for your hospitality." Had Emma learned his thoughts about Klara? She had glanced at Klara as he had felt the probing. Damn, he wanted to get her out of there. A small fear bubbled up that Emma had blocked Klara's memories on purpose. Yet, he felt his hands were tied in the situation. At least without telling Mary and Bethany what he thought.

He started to leave. Making his way through the rubble toward the exit. Hoping Mary and Bethany would follow him. Hoping that Emma hadn't tried to change their thoughts too. He pulled his tracking equipment from his pocket as he made for the exit, and drew out Annie's hair. He would cast it once more so he could give Bethany better directions.

Meanwhile, Mage did as he was directed by Emma and headed down to where Cassidy had fallen. He could heal him up to consciousness if it seemed they'd be waiting a while. There were two types of unconsciousness in humans. Short-term and deadly. It was unlikely Cassidy had suffered deadly.

Bethany Bell

New York, Frost International
Skills: N/A

"We should get going, thanks for the hospitality though." Bethany said as she stretched slightly and looked towards Ed and Mary and started to follow alongside Ed over towards the elevator. She watched as Klara went off to deal with Quicksilver if he was still actually down there anyway, and Mage going over towards Cassidy to take him off. "It was nice meeting you. See you around I guess then." Bethany said giving her counterpart a slight wave as she went and pressed the button for the elevator.

"Yep see you around." Nightlocke said as she gave her counterpart a slight wave as she crossed her arms over her chest while Mage went to pick up Cassidy to take him off he seemed to have things under control now at the moment. "I'll see if Klara needs help with Quicksilver, unless you want me to do something else." Nightlocke said to Emma.

Frenzy was still giving everyone some grief but it was shortly resolved when Dr. Strange finally gave into everyone telling him to do something. Antoinette watched Frenzy and both Hulks disappear into the mirror dimension. That likely wasn’t going to be a good thing. Hopefully they would be able to recover Lance and his father.
Antoinette looked up, seeing Lana flying above them and discovered she was the one with the lightning power. She looked down to see that Pyro, Nekra and Phantazia were still there, though the latter two were unconscious on the floor. Antoinette kept a close eye on those two as she let the camouflage fade. Dr Strange no longer sounded pleased with them and seemed content to let them handle matters, thinking it was their problem to solve. That may have been the case but this wasn’t their world either.
She shifted uncomfortably at the tension in the room and looked up from the knocked-out people to Runa who had called out a rather untrue statement. Antoinette was hesitant to answer though. She had killed before but this seemed different to Antoinette and she struggled with the thought of it.

Runa Baldurdattir & Guin Stark

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills: Asgardian Magic

Guin's eye twitched. Of course Strange had an excuse easily rattled off. But she didn't buy it. He was supposed to be the Wizard King or whatever - and if he had used his magic more appropriately to start with, the Hulks rampaging around wouldn't have been an issue. The structure would've have been in danger of collapsing if the fight had never started to begin with. Guin's opinion of him, needless to say, was rapidly souring. Guin muttered a few choice words under her breath. At least he did pick up the slack finally, sending the last of their enemies (and the two Hulks) through some sort of wizard portal. "ExCUSE ME?" Guin snapped.

She knew that Strange was an asshole - and that his little remark about fixing all of their problems was just something an asshole would say. "We fucking handled that fight, while you were worrying about keeping your walls from being scratched up! You're a wizard, you could have stopped everything before it got to the point of structural damage, but no, you'd rather watch us do all the hard work like we're fucking circus performers! I was wondering why you lived in such a shitty place when we got here, but now I know why - you're a pretentious washed up asshole who wouldn't last a day on a real superhero team. Fix all of our problems for us? Please, you can't even fix your own mess of a reality!"

Runa raised an eyebrow at Guin's outburst. And then decided to ignore it. There was the matter of what to do with the others they had encountered. She thought for a moment, before weaving a spell and whispering it, magic sparking out from her fingers as the fallen foes vanished, transported to the other end of New York State. "There, those are dealt with and should not be bothering us again soon," Runa said. "We ought to go retrieve the others, rather than sitting here squabbling like petty children." Okay, maybe she hadn't entirely ignored Guin's outburst.

She didn't like that the Hulks were trapped in the Mirror Dimension with Frenzy, but Runa felt confident that Frenzy would be the one more in danger than them. Still, she wished to be able to keep a better eye on Lance. "Strange, might you have an extra sling ring?" Runa asked. She had never studied the Mirror Dimension, beyond in that false life Wanda had created, so she only really knew how to access it via sling ring.

Warehouse
Strange just looked at Guin for a moment, as if thinking how best to explain things to her. "Banner was going to shift no matter what happened because of your existence here, well, more of that of the speedster's presence. Thor hasn't lifted his hammer to fight in years, the most he's ever done has moved it on occasion for us if it just so happens to be sitting in the way. Everyone else is not here at the moment, and usually I'm the only one who keeps it together. You can think what you want, but the differences between realities is apparent based on how you have been acting, aside of course from the fact that your counterpart is in a relationship with a true psychopath who tends to murder anyone else around him for fun. Remember, we are not the same as those in your reality, the fact that you seem to need that mentioned is a bit sad," he said to her rather bluntly.

His attention then turned towards Runa, as she asked about whether or not he had a spare sling ring. He seemed to think for a moment, before he held out his hand and one floated over to her. "I am trusting you with this, do not break that trust," he said to her, before he finished repairing the building around them so thankfully they likely wouldn't get buried.

"I think regrouping with the others is all we can do at this point..." Klara commented with a bit of a shrug, looking towards Runa now. "I also agree that sitting here arguing and fighting isn't going to help at all, so we might as well work to find everyone else, and then get working on how to get home..."

"Interdimensional is strictly frowned upon, so it is not very common knowledge how to easily navigate realities. As you may end up jumping into another reality that is not your own. So we need to be careful about that, however there might be a few spells I can look into in order to get you all out of here sooner rather then later..." Strange clearly wanted to get them out of his reality quickly, so that was at least something right?

I'm all for trying to leave this place... I'm kind of getting tired of people trying to kill me for just existing at this point, Pietro said mentally to Guin.

Frost International Building
"It's more of to see if he's there still and to begin removing rubble. Quicksilver has been known to avoid being buried to thoroughly at this point. So perhaps you should go over and aid her in removing the rubble..." Emma mused, speaking to Nightlock, "Or as I said, you could go try and get some info from our new guest, it is entirely up to you at this point."

Her attention then turned towards Ed, Mary and Bethany again and she gave a slight wave, "Until we run into each other again then."

"Riiiight..." Mary muttered, as the elevator showed up. They'd be able to step inside and hit the button for the ground floor, the doors closing behind them. "Ok... That was weird. Like, really weird. Also, never tell Emma Frost everything, ever. She's not exactly a great person back in our reality, so wasn't really all for trusting her," she instantly said towards Bethany, who had more or less been telling Emma Frost everything about who they were and how they got there.

Her attention then turned towards Ed, "Anyway, let's get to where the others are. I'm not sure Bethany would be able to teleport us so far away, since we are talking several blocks and all to where it sounds like the others are. But anyone else think this reality is way too weird and we should try to get home quickly?" Yeah, she didn't like it here, it was insane and she really wanted to just leave at this rate.
