*Mergoux is still unconscious, clutching her bag tightly*
*The Elf however nods to Karma*
Elf: I will do what is asked... as long as it is possible!
*She smiles feebly and looks sadly down at her painful stump*

*Once reaching Lecter the red-headed Elf nods*
Elf: I am Halia Tallbranch...
*She looks slightly suspicious of Lecter for a moment before looking surprised and looking between Karma and Lecter*
Halia: Wait what? How could a simple human command a magi!? What is this!?
*She looks suspicious*

*Lecter shakes his head*
Lecter: Simple human isn't the entire story, Halia. But yes, it wasn't easy to get Karma's loyalty. Shall we continue? We can talk along the way.
*With that, the Devil Hunter turns back around and starts walking towards the room*

*Furia yawns and wanders out to kitchen minus heavy furs normally and starts cooking some meat on a spit over a burning hob*

*have not mastered the oven*
*looks round*
So not a servant of the bearlord...
Hmm... Maybe our presence may yet go unnoticed for a short time.

*notices Xan and nods over swigging from a beer as not trust water supply yet however clean*

*The insect doesn't respond to Xan and goes back to his room*

*He complains to himself about the abundance of humans*

*Hanna wakes and looks over at Iris, she feels awful about her lack of thought about the effects her death would have on Iris*

*Furia watches insect leave and shrugs*

Strange being... Never going to understand this place. Advanced machines, strange things and peoples.

*gestures to insect guy*

*sighs and sips a beer looking round for something she does understand*

*looks out window to check a small rack of drying our rabit hides trapped earlier to make Nonac some new gloves*

*Iris stares at Hanna*
Iris:....How are you feeling?

*Halia looks suspiciously at Lecter but nods and allows herself to be brought on*
*Part of the way through the trip Mergoux stirs*
Mergoux:...Lecter... Where the hell where you!?
*She snarls at him in absolute rage*

*Lecter turns his head to see Mergoux as he walks*
Lecter: That... man, we had a disagreement. Either he killed himself summoning some creature, or he has a Devil Arm and a way to hide it. Regardless, I came as soon as it was possible. You cannot expect me to leave someone to die like that, can You?

*Karma's lip curls at Mergoux's outburst, but remains silent for now*

*Mergoux is nearly spitting with fury*
Mergoux: Damn you! Do you know what happened?! Did your little birdy friend explain somehow?! Did you at least kill the scum who held you up!?
*She glares between Karma and Lecter*

*Halia appears uncomfortable at Mergoux's anger*

*Lecter sighs and Karma growls*
Lecter: I know what transpired. And no, the beast walks the lands still. After you are safe and no longer in my keeping, I will finish it off. Tiaz will be after that.

Dare to address me like that again, and there will not be a chance for that crippled mortal to capture you again.

*Mergoux glares at Lecter*
Mergoux: And you couldn't even finish the damn job! Then you send your pet after me?! I should never had trusted you. I should have taken the giant.
*Her look is one not only of anger and rage, but of complete disappointment in Lecter as an ally*

*Halia looks at Mergoux*
Halia: But she saved your life didn't she?
*Mergoux glares sullenly*
Mergoux: She didn't save my life... he wouldn't have killed me, not for a long, long time...
*She says that with a shudder of fear at what life being punished by Tiaz would be like*

*Lecter raises a hand to stop Karma from attacking Mergoux*
Lecter: Choose. Your words. Carefully. That tongue would be Karma's, were it not for me being here. She saved you from slavery, and killed two of Tiaz's minions.
*The Devil Hunter sighs*
Lecter: You can't handle him alone, that much has been made apparent. Now, we can stop trading insults. You need to recover, until then I have other priorities to take care of. When you are able, we will find Tiaz and taken his head.

*Karma glances at Lecter*
She is wrong about him. About what he is.

*Mergoux snarls*
Mergoux: She didn't kill his minions, she killed his kids. He'll be pissed about that, so I'd be careful. Even if... Karma, is powerful, Tiaz will find a way to hurt her-
*She looks Lecter in the eyes. her own Hazel ones bright with a mix of emotions*
Mergoux: or you.
*She frowns*
Mergoux: Wrong? What do you mean I was wrong?

Lecter: I do not fear harm, or even death.
*He looks at Karma for a moment before turning back to Mergoux*
Lecter: What exactly is Tiaz? Clearly not a human.

*Mergoux stares at Lecter for a few seconds before sighing*
Mergoux: He's a Weretiger, and a shaman. He's got powerful magick's and even as a cripple, he's incredibly dangerous
*Halia is nodding along with every word Mergoux says*

*John passes out in his bar stool, glass of scotch in hand.*

*Jillian walks into the kitchen, and makes herself a gunslinger burrito. After she finishes making it she sits at the table, and eats silently.*
*Looks around tiredly, and sighs.*

*Creatures silently shadow Merg and Lecter.*
*They make slight giggles as they watch them from afar.*
*Purple storm clouds brew over the woods where the creature who Lecter fought fled to.*
*Black tar ooze starts to spread from where the storm cloud rains, and jagged bolts of red lightning cut through the sky.*

Lecter: But not a Devil. That is... important to know.
*He sighs yet again, and readjusts his hat*
Lecter: Then we'll have to be the first ones to show him Hell.

*Xan limps into the kitchen, gives Jillian a rather suspicious look and cooks up a slab of meat, occasionally giving Jillian sidelong glances*
Xan:...Who you?

*Mergoux and Halia don't notice anything*
Mergoux: No. I will do it.
*She gives Lecter a deadly serious look*
Mergoux: That's not up for debate, when his life ends, I'll be the one ending it. I deserve it for the hell he put me through.
*Halia glances nervously between everyone*
Halia: Are you sure? He is... powerful. What makes you think you could end him?

*Jillian smiles, and bows her head slightly.*
Jillian: I am Jillian of Gilead, I cry pardon for not noticing you! My mind was elsewhere.
*She offers her hand.*

*The creatures keep shadowing the group, and keep giggling louder.*
*The storm just keeps getting larger.*

Lecter: I'm not going to argue that. I don't want to, to begin with. But I am going to help you still, even just to prevent you from being killed in the process.
*He turns to face Halia*
Lecter: Tiaz grasps at powers that my prey invented. He may be stronger than a Mephisto, or even one of the Dagons perhaps, but he is a mortal. He just needs a reminder of that fact.

*Karma pauses as she hears the giggling*
We are being followed.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Xan looks cautious, but shakes hands*
Xan: I Xan. It fine you not see me. Better that way. Not want to...*She pauses, thinking how to phrase her words* be noticed. Keeps much safer. You here for safe too?

*Mergoux nods sullenly*
Mergoux: Once he's dead... then that's it. It's over...

Halia: Mortal? He's no ordinary mortal! He's lived far longer than he should! I've been his...servant for over 300 years! No Werelord lives that long! It's unheard of!
*Halia's ears twitch as her sharper than normal Elven hearing picks up the giggles*
Halia: She's right! There's something out there!
