[OOC] As Darkness Fell - A dark fantasy story

Sorry for the long first post, but it is up. I tried something new with this IC post and I hope it works! You have a bit of freedom with your firsts posts but generally you should end up in the center of the town.

I quite like that start indeed! The imagery was certainly vibrant, all too important that is, to be able to feel, to really feel the setting. And so the gatherings comes from all six of those corners, to see naught but ruin, excellent. I'll definitely (probably) have a post up tonight!

I'll get in a post hopefully tomorrow, since it's hella late. Also, I recall you saying that we would start with the group already a few days into the journey? Not complaining, I like this start better since it's an actual "true" start to the story, but lowkey wondering why the change of heart lol

The change happened because of the way the characters addressed how they heard of the journey/decided to join. You can't fit a square peg into a circular hole after all! I learned through writing the IC post that my original plan would simply not work, and thus had to adjust.

I almost feel tempted to try matching the first post's length. Though, there's good reason for its size, setting everything up and all that. But I wouldn't wanna feel too inadequate! Haha. I'll likely be done in an hour or two. I can certainly see why the wait was necessary.

Amber colored eyes for the mages, more red colored for the summoners. The cultist actively taps into dark magic, and some even dabble in demonic magic. The use of this magic has a cost, and the first signs of the toll that it takes on the user will manifest itself in the eyes.

@Nariata One last thing. Taking the castle Estel as the center point since it was recently attacked, in which direction do the invaded/attacked lands/settlements lay and in which directions do the free ones remain? You mentioned the west side from the castle to have not been attacked.

@Bishop The western side is "safety" for now. So those settlements on the western side of the land are still safe from the demonic army while the eastern side is slowly falling. We are on the eastern side btw!

Oh a post before I finished mine! Entirely expected, but I am rather glad I need not alter mine at all, as the careful half-dwarf holds her patience firm. I suppose Gerhard will indeed be the first to meet with Mulad. Juuuuuust about finished too, hoping it'll be a good one!

Alright! Completed, maybe not quite as grand as I would have hoped for my first post, but I'm a bit rusty. Do let me know if it all works just fine.

True, I actually considered, if I was Nariata, doing a small post as Mulad to prevent that sort of RP faux pas, and set it up for other players to come across the three men already there (and the hidden dwelf).
