Standing at 5'11 Raylan has a physically imposing stance. At 185 pounds he is always close to his fighting weight and keeps himself in incredible shape. His broad shoulders help to hide his mass, seemingly smaller than he is. His dark brown hair is always cut short but never seems to be combed or kept up.

His face has a few scars from elbows crashing into him. He keeps just a hint of facial hair to make them harder to see. His noise has been broken more than a time or two but it hardly noticeable. Even when he smiles his eyes never seems to lose the crestfallen look at seems to be etched on his face.

Raylan has two tattoos on his left arm. His upper arm and
his lower arm. Both of them have deep meaning behind then but he's yet to share that information yet. They also cover up the scars from road rash.

Clothing Style;

Raylan wears as causal of clothing as possible. Jeans, boots, and a t shirt. His shirts without always seem to have something to do with fighting. He has an old University of Tennessee hat that has seen much better days. Its old, dirty and little ragged but he loves it dearly. If its not on his head or in his back pocket, something is very wrong.

As much as he hates the notion of having to dress up, he cleans up surprising well. He has maybe two or three nice button shirts and two nice jackets. One Jacket being leather and the other a dinner jacket that was gifted to him. There was a rumor going around that he might have a pair of dress pants but its yet to be seen.

Since his motorcycle is his only method of transportation Raylan almost always has one of two jackets, knee pads, backpack, and gloves.He also tends to switch between one of two helmets.

Fighting, Martial Arts and self defense has been the only constant thing he wants to keep learning about. When something catches his attention, he has to learn everything about it till he loses interest in it. A good example his obsession was a summer he read the complete works of Shakespeare.

While Raylan is always willing to help people out, he has his limits. He will listen, console and give you a shoulder to cry on. He knows right from wrong and wants to do the right thing. He'll do it all while wearing a face that says I wanna be anywhere but here. Just because he willing too doesn't mean he wants to do it. Once he has reached his limit, Raylan will want nothing to do with the situation.

Intelligence is all relative. In Raylan's case he is only as smart as he wants to be in any give subject. He's plenty smart enough to figure out anything he wants to. The question is, does he really want too? If he has to figure out it, he'll do it no time. If he has no interest in it, pulling teeth would be more fun than dealing with Raylan.

Background;

Raylan's family died before his fifth birthday. It was his Aunt and Uncle that took him in. Raylan said almost nothing for a full year, he it wasn't until he had gotten to a fight on the playground that anyone saw young Raylan smile again. The next day his uncle put him in a boxing school. He was completely and totally hooked on it.

Over the years Raylan only got better and better in combat sports. He entered every competition he could, fought every time he could. Raylan never lost much but each loss made him what seemed like ten times better. However all the dedication to training made his grades suffer. Raylan had no issue running himself into the ground and trying to get every bit of training as he could.

A deal was struck that he would join the high school wrestling team and maintain no less than 3.0 GPA and he got train and fight as much he could handle. He made sure from them then on he'd keep a 4.0. They won the state title every year he competed. It was that skill that get him into Hollywood University.

Before leaving home, Raylan changed his last name to to his Aunt and Uncle's last name of Ulysses. In Raylan's mind, they were his parents. They were the ones that took him in, and went to all the fights and training sessions. They took him in without a second thought and were always supportive of him. Even with all that, there is still that empty feeling of never knowing his real parents. At least he had the next best thing.

He knew his Aunt and Uncle could never afford the school but he found ways to make it work. Between grants and loans he was determined to put himself through the school. He was lucky he had a skill set like his. People were always willing to pay for security and it was a lot easier on the body than pro-am fights.

Within two weeks of being on campus he learned to say as little as possible, his strong southern accent didn't exactly endear him to many. The only place he did feel at home was at an MMA gym, one the best in city. It didn't take long for Raylan earn the respect of the patrons, with in a year he was offered a job and the back room.

As soon as he could Raylan moved into that small little back room. He knew for a fact it was smaller than some of his classmates closets but it was his and he didn't have any bills. That alone made everything worth it. The gym took more of his earnings than he would have liked but he does better than most people would think.

Raylan has quietly amassed an impressive wrestling record. Two undefeated season and two individual NCAA wrestling titles, a finalist for the Hodges Trophy in all but his first season. He even managed to get the team to finals last season.

Freddie was not born with the looks of a wild child. In all actuality, she would seem like the perfect blue blood daughter if her dad dressed her. Her clear skin is a perfect tan brought by the California sun and it accentuates her sharp, angled features. Her body is willowy and lithe at the height of 5'7", with subtle curves and mile long legs. Freddie was taught from the day she was born to have a perfect posture; even when she is relaxed, her back is straight. Long fiery hair ends below her breasts, easily tame-able and not too thick or thin. When it comes to her facial features, her cheekbones are high and her chin sharp. She has a sloping, soft nose and delicate lips as well as icy blue eyes and arched eyebrows. Winifred Woolley looks like a noble from the Medieval times with her all such defining parts placed together.

She would, indeed, look like the heiress to a multi-billionaire company if it wasn’t for how she dressed and maintained herself. Freddie’s red hair is a mess of tangles and snarls, casually thrown over the shoulder and only brushed every two or three days. Beneath her clothes, Freddie is decorated in tattoos. Freddie’s very first tattoo is a small sunflower on the heel of her foot – her mother’s favorite flower – and she got it when she first turned twelve to remember her mother. The majority of her left arm is covered by a watercolor compass tattoo, etched when she was twelve years old as her first official sign of rebellion to her parents. Her largest tattoo covers her entire back, stretching from the base of her spine to the top of it. It is a tree that looks like it has grown from her spine and it branches off to the side of her back. Swooping over her back, crossing from the barren side of her back to the slope of the other shoulder, is a line of black flying crows. Along the right side of her body, edging along the only place left untouched on her back, are two fish. One fish is red and the other black as they swim downwards; it was gotten on her sixteenth birthday, a symbol for being a pisces. On the side of her right thigh and extended to her knee, Freddie has a tattoo of a branch of flowers – she got this tattoo at the age of fourteen, when she came back from boarding school. One of her smaller tattoos, Freddie has a couple of crows flying up the side of her right hand. The last tattoo she got, which was actually legal, was a bejeweled fox on her left thigh. Most of her tattoos were done illegally since she was underaged – but money can make anyone do anything. Not only does she tattoo her body as a form of self-expression, and largely to piss over father dearest, Freddie has a few piercings. Each ear has around four piercings in a row, though her left one has a tragus piercing and her right ear has a helix piercing. Her belly button is also pierced and she has a scar on her hips from when she had hip piercings at the age of sixteen but has since grown out.

Her tops are usually band merchandise, which she finds herself online – even for bands she doesn’t even listen to – or some other designer brand that could easily be found for less money (but brand is everything). Freddie has a collection of aviator shades in different colors and different name brands as well as John Lennon-styled teashade glasses. Freddie is a nice enough girl if you get on her good side. She’s rather friendly and charming – she has this easy way about her where no matter what she says, it is hard to take it as any more of a joke. Freddie isn’t the type to keep her thoughts to herself – she says what she thinks on the spot and has no mind to mouth filter. It does not help that most of what she says is sarcastic or witty at the expense of others. She bonds with others by endlessly teasing them, and some people just don’t tolerate it. Along with her crude bluntness, Freddie is messy and impatient and most could refer to her as a “hot mess.” Her surroundings tend to be filthy and she doesn’t have much tolerance for others’ mistakes. Her excuses change every time she is caught doing something particularly rebellious – “you’re only young once”, “die when you’re pretty”, “live life to the fullest”, “fuck the police” – and no amount of punishment thus far has stopped her from indulging herself in inappropriate behavior. Not to mention her fatalistic humor can sometimes be hard to swallow. With all of this pent up in her body, Freddie finds herself with a short fuse. She’s impatient and doesn’t have time to deal with dickwads and her temper flares quicker than most. When she first gets angry, Freddie likes to be destructive and destroy things – but afterwards, it turns into a simmering, cold bitterness that never goes away. Background;

The legacy of the Woolley family is Woolley Enterprises – a wealthy company that mostly builds hotels and involves itself in real estate. By the time Jeffrey Woolley inherited the business, he was already married to his sweet wife, Susan Woolley (nee Rand) and expecting child. The couple were excited for their firstborn and Jeffrey promised himself that he would build an empire out of the company to leave to his baby girl.

However, Jeffrey was groomed to become a businessman – not a father. Balancing fatherhood with work was difficult, so he focused on the easiest of the two. Winifred, his beautiful firstborn, grew up listening to her parents fighting over Jeffrey’s workaholism. Freddie knew more swear words than colors when she started talking – much to Susan’s ire. Susan was a wonderful mother, though. She was a kind woman who loved motherhood – she would have Freddie bake cookies and run around in the mud with her. They were two peas in a pod and could never be separated. Most others called her Winnie, a name Freddie detested, and her mother was the first to begin calling her Freddie. She much preferred that.

In the beginning, Freddie didn’t understand why her father was so distant. She would badger him constantly as a toddler, running into his office with a crayon-colored picture in hand. Eventually, Jeffrey locked the door – along the way of building Freddie’s empire, he lost himself in work. After that, Freddie just accepted his indifference towards her. Of course, there was a small spark of resentment, but with her mother telling her fairytales at night and keeping her occupied during the day, Freddie didn’t have time for that anger to fester.

The Woolley family collapsed when Freddie’s mother killed herself. Freddie was twelve and she didn’t quite understand why her mother would commit suicide. To her, Susan looked happy – the happiest. Freddie loved her mother and couldn’t bring herself to be angry at her for leaving, so she turned her pent-up anger on her father. Of course, he didn’t notice since he was so busy with his work. He didn’t even notice when she had gotten the tattoo on her ankle.

The first time Jeffrey noticed Freddie, truly noticed her for years without a noncommittal hum or spare glance, it was in the middle of a teacher-parent conference. It was half a year after her mother’s death and Freddie’s teacher called in her father to talk about her behavioral problems. Freddie had been starting fights, acting out in class, being a distraction. The teacher evenly helpfully pointed out the tattoo on Freddie’s ankle. Her father was so furious, he lectured her for a full hour and made an appointment to get the tattoo removed – his rage was the only attention Freddie ever received from him. Maybe she wanted him to pay attention to her more, or punish him for her mother, but either way, that same night she snuck out and got a large tattoo plain for everyone to see. Every appointment her father made to remove them was snubbed by Freddie and she’d disappear until it was too late to take her. Eventually, he stopped trying.

At thirteen, Freddie’s behavioral problems were getting out of hand and Jeffrey sent her to boarding school which only served to piss her off more. By the time she was fourteen, she had been kicked out of two boarding schools. After the second time, Jeffrey attempted a different approach. He did what his father did to him – he forced Freddie to come with him to work, do hard work, watch and learn how he handled business. Jeffrey was preening Freddie to take over Woolley Enterprises when the time came. She was moody and surly, but her behavior became reigned in and there were only slight incidents at school.

The turning point in Freddie’s rebellion was when she was sixteen and her father set her aside. He lectured her on responsibility and told her that she needed to do well in her classes so she could learn business at a good school to finally take over the empire he made for her. When Freddie realized that his neglect was because he was misguidedly doing this for her – that he ignored his wife and her mother for a company – Freddie’s resentment burned more than it ever did before.

After that, Freddie joined an environmental movement that was in exact opposition of her father. She was at rallies at the base of their headquarters, signed petitions, leaked information to the protesters. Her act of rebellion soon became passion as well. While at first it was a façade to piss daddy dearest off, Freddie began to believe in the movement and many others. She became an activist and when it came time to go to college (Hollywood University as her father arranged), Freddie sniffed her nose at a business major and decided she wanted to do something for the environment instead. It was the ultimate blow to her father who wasted his marriage and fatherhood to build something up for her and for her to throw it away.

Standing at 5'11 Raylan has a physically imposing stance. At 185 pounds he is always close to his fighting weight and keeps himself in incredible shape. His broad shoulders help to hide his mass, seemingly smaller than he is. His dark brown hair is always cut short but never seems to be combed or kept up.

His face has a few scars from elbows crashing into him. He keeps just a hint of facial hair to make them harder to see. His noise has been broken more than a time or two but it hardly noticeable. Even when he smiles his eyes never seems to lose the crestfallen look at seems to be etched on his face.

Raylan has two tattoos on his left arm. His upper arm and
his lower arm. Both of them have deep meaning behind then but he's yet to share that information yet. They also cover up the scars from road rash.

Clothing Style;

Raylan wears as causal of clothing as possible. Jeans, boots, and a t shirt. His shirts without always seem to have something to do with fighting. He has an old University of Tennessee hat that has seen much better days. Its old, dirty and little ragged but he loves it dearly. If its not on his head or in his back pocket, something is very wrong.

As much as he hates the notion of having to dress up, he cleans up surprising well. He has maybe two or three nice button shirts and two nice jackets. One Jacket being leather and the other a dinner jacket that was gifted to him. There was a rumor going around that he might have a pair of dress pants but its yet to be seen.

Since his motorcycle is his only method of transportation Raylan almost always has one of two jackets, knee pads, backpack, and gloves.He also tends to switch between one of two helmets.

Raylan has a pretty obsessive personality. People are not often the subject of his obsessions but when something it's an itch he has to scratch. Fighting, Martial Arts and self defense has been the only constant thing he wants to keep learning about. When something catches his attention, he has to learn everything about it till he loses interest in it. A good example his obsession was a summer he read the complete works of Shakespeare.

While Raylan is always willing to help people out, he has his limits. He will listen, console and give you a shoulder to cry on. He knows right from wrong and wants to do the right thing. He'll do it all while wearing a face that says I wanna be anywhere but here. Just because he willing too doesn't mean he wants to do it. Once he has reached his limit, Raylan will want nothing to do with the situation.

Intelligence is all relative. In Raylan's case he is only as smart as he wants to be in any give subject. He's plenty smart enough to figure out anything he wants to. The question is, does he really want too? If he has to figure out it, he'll do it no time. If he has no interest in it, pulling teeth would be more fun than dealing with Raylan.

Raylan's family died before his fifth birthday. It was his Aunt and Uncle that took him in. Raylan said almost nothing for a full year, he it wasn't until he had gotten to a fight on the playground that anyone saw young Raylan smile again. The next day his uncle put him in a boxing school. He was completely and totally hooked on it.

Over the years Raylan only got better and better in combat sports. He entered every competition he could, fought every time he could. Raylan never lost much but each loss made him what seemed like ten times better. However all the dedication to training made his grades suffer. Raylan had no issue running himself into the ground and trying to get every bit of training as he could.

A deal was struck that he would join the high school wrestling team and maintain no less than 3.0 GPA and he got train and fight as much he could handle. He made sure from them then on he'd keep a 4.0. They won the state title every year he competed. It was that skill that get him into Hollywood University.

Before leaving home, Raylan changed his last name to to his Aunt and Uncle's last name of Ulysses. In Raylan's mind, they were his parents. They were the ones that took him in, and went to all the fights and training sessions. They took him in without a second thought and were always supportive of him. Even with all that, there is still that empty feeling of never knowing his real parents. At least he had the next best thing.

He knew his Aunt and Uncle could never afford the school but he found ways to make it work. Between grants and loans he was determined to put himself through the school. He was lucky he had a skill set like his. People were always willing to pay for security and it was a lot easier on the body than pro-am fights.

Within two weeks of being on campus he learned to say as little as possible, his strong southern accent didn't exactly endear him to many. The only place he did feel at home was at an MMA gym, one the best in city. It didn't take long for Raylan earn the respect of the patrons, with in a year he was offered a job and the back room.

As soon as he could Raylan moved into that small little back room. He knew for a fact it was smaller than some of his classmates closets but it was his and he didn't have any bills. That alone made everything worth it. The gym took more of his earnings than he would have liked but he does better than most people would think.

Raylan has quietly amassed an impressive wrestling record. Two undefeated season and two individual NCAA wrestling titles, a finalist for the Hodges Trophy in all but his first season. He even managed to get the team to finals last season.

Freddie was not born with the looks of a wild child. In all actuality, she would seem like the perfect blue blood daughter if her dad dressed her. Her clear skin is a perfect tan brought by the California sun and it accentuates her sharp, angled features. Her body is willowy and lithe at the height of 5'7", with subtle curves and mile long legs. Freddie was taught from the day she was born to have a perfect posture; even when she is relaxed, her back is straight. Long fiery hair ends below her breasts, easily tame-able and not too thick or thin. When it comes to her facial features, her cheekbones are high and her chin sharp. She has a sloping, soft nose and delicate lips as well as icy blue eyes and arched eyebrows. Winifred Woolley looks like a noble from the Medieval times with her all such defining parts placed together.

She would, indeed, look like the heiress to a multi-billionaire company if it wasn’t for how she dressed and maintained herself. Freddie’s red hair is a mess of tangles and snarls, casually thrown over the shoulder and only brushed every two or three days. Beneath her clothes, Freddie is decorated in tattoos. Freddie’s very first tattoo is a small sunflower on the heel of her foot – her mother’s favorite flower – and she got it when she first turned twelve to remember her mother. She doesn’t like it when others outdo her and she tends to rush into things in order to get ahead of another person – even if the other doesn’t know they are competing against her. Maybe it’s because of such a spontaneous lifestyle that she is so independent; it is hard to be spontaneous when you are leaning someone else to direct you. Freddie is a leader, not a follower.

The most important things to Freddie are the causes she supports. Freddie is a huge advocate for eco-friendly products and attends protests on the daily. She hates pollution and stands against a multitude of things – she’s a feminist, a liberal, a humanist. Freddie is incredibly passionate about her thoughts and opinions; when she thinks a certain way about something, Freddie is prompted to take action. She is ambitious in having her goals becoming realized, especially when it comes to her protesting. But because of her passionate nature, Freddie tends to be outspoken and argumentative. She is stubborn and refuses to see another viewpoint than the one she supports. If someone does not share her opinion, she could fight with them all day even if it doesn’t sway them in the least to believe in her beliefs. Her dedication can be her downfall to her social life; she can be pretentious at times and lecture her friends about doing things she dislikes and on multiple occasions she has cancelled outings to join a charity event or protest.

Freddie’s constant activism is not the only turn off of her personality – though some could argue her activism is a positive trait. She’s a bitter girl, who is a bottle filled with resentment. Freddie dislikes being scorned and, when she is, she remembers it forever. Rarely does she find people worthy enough for a second chance and maybe that is why she is so cynical. Her cynical and skeptical personality causes her to look down on people most often, or to be cavalier about other people. Raised by a father she hates after she was twelve, Freddie finds it hard to find simple joys in her life – especially when others are put off by her personality. Instead, she fills her time with a hedonistic attitude. Her excuses change every time she is caught doing something particularly rebellious – “you’re only young once”, “die when you’re pretty”, “live life to the fullest”, “fuck the police” – and no amount of punishment thus far has stopped her from indulging herself in inappropriate behavior. Not to mention her fatalistic humor can sometimes be hard to swallow. With all of this pent up in her body, Freddie finds herself with a short fuse. She’s impatient and doesn’t have time to deal with dickwads and her temper flares quicker than most. When she first gets angry, Freddie likes to be destructive and destroy things – but afterwards, it turns into a simmering, cold bitterness that never goes away. Because of all this negative emotion inside of her, Freddie tries to fill the void with volunteering and humanitarianism.

Background;

The legacy of the Woolley family is Woolley Enterprises – a wealthy company that mostly builds hotels and involves itself in real estate. By the time Jeffrey Woolley inherited the business, he was already married to his sweet wife, Susan Woolley (nee Rand) and expecting child. The couple were excited for their firstborn and Jeffrey promised himself that he would build an empire out of the company to leave to his baby girl.

However, Jeffrey was groomed to become a businessman – not a father. Balancing fatherhood with work was difficult, so he focused on the easiest of the two. Winifred, his beautiful firstborn, grew up listening to her parents fighting over Jeffrey’s workaholism. Freddie knew more swear words than colors when she started talking – much to Susan’s ire. Susan was a wonderful mother, though. She was a kind woman who loved motherhood – she would have Freddie bake cookies and run around in the mud with her. They were two peas in a pod and could never be separated. Most others called her Winnie, a name Freddie detested, and her mother was the first to begin calling her Freddie. She much preferred that.

In the beginning, Freddie didn’t understand why her father was so distant. She would badger him constantly as a toddler, running into his office with a crayon-colored picture in hand. Eventually, Jeffrey locked the door – along the way of building Freddie’s empire, he lost himself in work. After that, Freddie just accepted his indifference towards her. Of course, there was a small spark of resentment, but with her mother telling her fairytales at night and keeping her occupied during the day, Freddie didn’t have time for that anger to fester.

The Woolley family collapsed when Freddie’s mother killed herself. Freddie was twelve and she didn’t quite understand why her mother would commit suicide. To her, Susan looked happy – the happiest. Freddie loved her mother and couldn’t bring herself to be angry at her for leaving, so she turned her pent-up anger on her father. Of course, he didn’t notice since he was so busy with his work. He didn’t even notice when she had gotten the tattoo on her ankle.

The first time Jeffrey noticed Freddie, truly noticed her for years without a noncommittal hum or spare glance, it was in the middle of a teacher-parent conference. It was half a year after her mother’s death and Freddie’s teacher called in her father to talk about her behavioral problems. Freddie had been starting fights, acting out in class, being a distraction. The teacher evenly helpfully pointed out the tattoo on Freddie’s ankle. Her father was so furious, he lectured her for a full hour and made an appointment to get the tattoo removed – his rage was the only attention Freddie ever received from him. Maybe she wanted him to pay attention to her more, or punish him for her mother, but either way, that same night she snuck out and got a large tattoo plain for everyone to see. Every appointment her father made to remove them was snubbed by Freddie and she’d disappear until it was too late to take her. Eventually, he stopped trying.

At thirteen, Freddie’s behavioral problems were getting out of hand and Jeffrey sent her to boarding school which only served to piss her off more. By the time she was fourteen, she had been kicked out of two boarding schools. After the second time, Jeffrey attempted a different approach. He did what his father did to him – he forced Freddie to come with him to work, do hard work, watch and learn how he handled business. Jeffrey was preening Freddie to take over Woolley Enterprises when the time came. She was moody and surly, but her behavior became reigned in and there were only slight incidents at school.

The turning point in Freddie’s rebellion was when she was sixteen and her father set her aside. He lectured her on responsibility and told her that she needed to do well in her classes so she could learn business at a good school to finally take over the empire he made for her. When Freddie realized that his neglect was because he was misguidedly doing this for her – that he ignored his wife and her mother for a company – Freddie’s resentment burned more than it ever did before.

After that, Freddie joined an environmental movement that was in exact opposition of her father. She was at rallies at the base of their headquarters, signed petitions, leaked information to the protesters. Her act of rebellion soon became passion as well. While at first it was a façade to piss daddy dearest off, Freddie began to believe in the movement and many others. She became an activist and when it came time to go to college (Hollywood University as her father arranged), Freddie sniffed her nose at a business major and decided she wanted to do something for the environment instead. It was the ultimate blow to her father who wasted his marriage and fatherhood to build something up for her and for her to throw it away.

Bodhi stands at exactly 6 foot, his build is lean and athletic with strong arms and shoulders from years of swimming and surfing. He’s got the tan you’d expect from a native to southern California, with muddled curly hair that’s been bleached by the sun, and gray blue eyes like the ocean during a storm. He carries himself with confidence, normally wearing an inviting smile or steely look of determination. He prefers to keep some amount of scruff on his face to help him look older, clean shaven he tends to look too young for his fake ID to be convincing. He has a tattoo of a wave on one forearm and a Silver Surfer tattoo on the other.

Clothing Style;

When it comes to clothing he keeps it simple, Bodhi absolutely hates shirts with collars as well as ties, and when he can get away with it, he prefers to go without both shirts and shoes. He spends as much time as possible in either swim trucks or a wetsuit, frequently wearing swim trunks as shorts along with a t-shirt and maybe an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt with it. He doesn’t really do second chances, for Bodhi if someone betrays you once they’ll do it again, people don’t change who they really are so once you see who they really are you don’t forget that. He can be stubborn, once he has his mind on something and it’s rare to get him to change. Sometimes that helps when he’s working towards a goal, and sometimes it’s just being pig-headed. When he really want’s something he works hard until he gets it, doesn’t matter how long it takes if something he really wants, he’ll put the work in.

Her travels eventually brought her to a bar in Fresno where she met Hank, and nine months later the already troubled couple welcomed a son into the world. Hank constantly fluctuated between being a drunk and a recovering alcoholic, between low paying jobs and unemployment, and was constantly in and out of jail. Being around his father was always difficult due to his volatile temper and so both young Bodhi and his spent as much time as they could away from the house whenever his dad was around. His earliest memories are of his mother teaching him to surf and instilling a love of the ocean in him. He loved watching her favorite movies with her; Point Break, the movie where his mom got his name, Jaws and Free Willy, the latter two which first sparked his interest in marine life.

Neither of his parents were professionally successful, his mother tried to bring in money working at a burger joint and selling art and jewelry when she could, while his father barely managed to hold a job. They lived in rough neighborhoods, trailer parks, and were occasionally homeless. There were times when they had no electricity and no food, and there were times when things were pretty okay. When his father was in jail or during the occasional times, when he quit drinking, things were better, but mostly when Hank was around it was screaming, violence, and police sirens. When he was twelve his father was arrested for an armed robbery and neither Bodhi nor his mother have seen Hank again. He never missed his dad, life was better without him around.

Bodhi had plenty of father figures in his life through the older surfers that hung around the beaches he and his mother frequented. One of them had given him his first board as a gift when he was six and he took to it right away. When his mother was busy or had to work, there was always someone hanging around the beach to watch him and give him pointers. He learned patience waiting for his waves, he learned that hard work and determination can get you what you want, and he learned respect for the ocean. He had a difficult time in school, he hated sitting still for long periods of time and was quickly labeled a problem child. He did very well with subjects he liked, such as science, but couldn’t be bothered with subjects he lacked interest in. He excelled on his school's swim team and eventually in high school he decided he wanted to be a marine biologist.

By his sophomore year he changed from being barely a C student to an A student and from having a constant seat in detention to keeping out of trouble. He knew his after school job at a surf shop wasn’t going to put him through college and that a scholarship was his best option. So, he worked hard, he put all his efforts into his grades, volunteer work whenever he had the time, participated in school clubs and eventually it all paid off he earned a scholarship to Hollywood University. Of course, while it covers tuition, barely, he still needed money to live so officially he gives surf lessons and unofficially he pads his income with some light drug dealing, mostly pot and party drugs, Bodhi doesn’t mess around with the hard stuff and never large amounts.

Update; Sorry, everyone for my silence but I had an allergic reaction to a prescription drug the other day and it was not a good feeling to have but I am good now and just about ready to kick this off. :)

I still have to create a relations sheet, so that we can discuss relations with one another and the roleplay will start on Friday now.
