Chapter 2///[Debug_Lake][Secret_Source]

Chessmon Castle

"Damn it all! Those kids defeated that RookChessmon and his lackeys? What a fool! I can hardly believe this!" A short Digimon said. He looked like a PawnChessmon White, but a bit more. . . Regal? "Bah! Bah I say! BAH!" He smashed his staff into the ground a few times to show off his anger. "REMOVE YOURSELVES!" He commanded and all the PawnChessmon ran from the throne room at top speed.

He rubbed what could only be described as his temple and looked to his left. "Oh, My Queen. You are the only one that has never disappointed me, have I told you that?" He asked, looking over to a tall, black armored figure. It looked quite feminine and nodded.

"Of course not, My King. I would never disappoint you, my darling~. The armored figure replied in a quite sultry tone. "And I'll not let you down, ever. These "fools" will learn their place and do their job properly, or we send them off... Well, you know where."

"Oh! My queen! This is why I've made you so! You are the smartest except for me, of course!" The White one said with a tone of utter cockiness to it. Then he laughed as one would expect of a stereotypical villain. "That Rooodo better keep his word when he says he'll give us a weapon."

Tamer Bureau

"Sad they couldn't save the Greymon." Flamedramon said with his arms crossed. The other few members of the branch looked at each other in contemplation. "Regardless, we can't say it's their fault. Niels' either. It was unexpected. The one boy went to another branch as well. All sad, but we'll survive. Lilymon, perhaps we can give them another mission, something... Easier."

Lilymon was already on the job though, looking through a small database they had. Her eye caught something decent too. [b]"Ahh! Debug Lake, there seems to be a dispute between a couple of digimon. Nothing really Hacker related on the surface at least and they can relax at the hot springs there."[b]

Arukenimon had a laptop with her and sent an email to both Yumeko and Rachel. . .

Rachel was lazing around for summer. She spent sometime bonding with Tinkermon through the Digivice and wondered how weird it was to have something like this. Then she noticed an email from a friendly spider telling her to return to the Bureau at her earliest convenience. Which would be now. "I wonder if Rachel is still interested in the Digital World. She didn't seem too entertained by, well, anything."

Tinkermon's voice came through the Digivice as the creature relaxed inside. "Come on! She might be a good friend, but even then if she isn't, you still have me! Your best buddy, Tinkermon! Until I Digivolve at least. Then I'll be something else."

"Oh, that's true. Do you know what you'll be when you Digivolve?" Yumeko asked. When the small fairy changed into her current form, her name changed too.

"If I did, I wouldn't tell you. You just have to find out. Now, now! Let's go ahead and get back into the Digital World! I want to strech my wings!" Tinkermon exclaimed as Yumeko sighed and put her Digivice towards her computer moniter.

"Digital Gate, Open."

...

Soon enough, she found herself flat on her ass, sitting on the ground in a familiar area. Tinkermon had already let herself out and flew around a little bit. "It's so good to breath this... Digital Air. Or something."

~Rachel Holt~

Ever since leaving the digital world, Rachel hadn't paid it much mind. That said - Impmons company was...tolerable. Nice, even. Since she was left alone so much it was a pleasant distraction to have some sort of company. Not that she'd tell the digimon that, no. For the most part she and Impmon traded back and forth pranks and discussed various topics of programs and stuff. Not that Impmon really understood most of the time, but it was funny to watch him try and flub his way through explaining something.

At the moment though, she was currently just lazing about on the internet and streamlining some code for a project.

"Hey, partner!" Impmons voice reached her through the digivice. Of course, Rachel responded with her usual silence. She wasn't much of a talker, after all. "What'cha up to? You still doing some of that...computer stuff?" Rachel placed the digivice on the desk next to her keyboard, making a few loud taps on the desk with her finger. "I'll take that as a yes. Hey, any news from that spider?" the moment he asked, an email popped up in her inbox.

"...hmm." Rachel audibly hummed, in a slightly annoyed seeming fashion. It was requesting her presence in the world again. On one hand, it sounded annoying and tiring. On the other had...well, it had been somewhat entertaining. Playing hero and stuff, even if they hadn't entirely succeeded at their objective.

"Hey, was that an email? That's some weird timin' there, partner." The digimon commented. In the short time since their first little adventure, the digimon had at least gotten somewhat better at reading Rachel's small shifts in expression and tone of voice. "Get yer butt over here then!" Rachel sighed contemplatively, pressing a few buttons on the device. "I ain't takin no for an answer, cowgirl! Get in here or so help me I'll fill your inbox with tons of spam pictures of my pretty mug!"

...ugh, that'd be annoying. With a sigh and an eye roll, Rachel picked up the device, about to open it before she remembered once again, she was not wearing any pants - so she put some on before leaving.

Rachel was plopped down in the digital world in a much more graceful fashion than last time. Impmon of course, next to her.

"Howdy, there partner!" Impmon walked up next to her. "Glad ya decided to stick around!" Before he could say much else, it seemed he still hadn't learned his lesson. Rachel picked him up by his head, pulling on his cheeks, making the digimons face contort somewhat comically.

"....if you're going to spam the inbox, I want a funny face."

~Kameo Hale~

"Aaah...nothing like a quick swim session during your lunch break, heh." The redhead yawned, resting on the surfboard as she floated some distance away from the shoreline. The job in question? Well, she worked at her grandads little beach side restaurant. Great place that she was probably gonna work at the rest of her life. She honestly couldn't imagine herself doing much else, really. Academics and Athletics weren't her thing. Too complicated, both of them. Though, one could argue her hobby of surfing and snorkeling were anything but simple. "Hey hey, swimmon, what are the seas of the digital world like?

"Very...data-y? To put mildly in your words? They're very cool and pleasant! Peaceful, really!" The digivice replied from...in Kameo's swimsuit. "For the last time though, why do I have to be inside of your swimsuit?"

"Pfft, where else would I keep ya while I'm out swimming? Besides, I know lots of other people who'd be totally jealous your basically touching my boobs."

"But I dun wanna be touching anyyyything!" She could see swimmon's face now - all scrunched up and trying not to act like it didn't like it.

"TO bad, here comes a wave!" The redhead in question rolled over on the red and yellow surfboard, ignoring the various protests from the device regarding something about how it was 'super lewd and inappropriate'. Kameo slowly stood as the wave gained speed, and with the skill of someone who's done this their entire life, Kameo rode the wave. To say she was skilled was an understatement - the redhead made it look easy, at least until she lost her balance.

"E-eh?" Before she could question what happened, the surfboard beneath her wavered, and she fell backwards, crashing into the water. Thankfully, the readhead wasn't injured in the slightest. When she surface a few seconds later, she was even laughing about it. The...vibrating in her swimsuit from a certain concerned fish was a little much though.

"Hey hey, cool your water jets Swimmon." Kameo laughed, reaching into her swimsuit and pulling out the red device. "I'm fine, I'm fine."

"Oh good! You humans don't really handle water so well, so I was concerned."

"Bwahaha, not my first wipeout. Won't be my last. At least I didn't get a gallon of water in my ear." Kameo swam over to the surfboard, grabbing onto it and pulling herself atop it. "My breaks over though, so we should get back to the shore. Granddad'll kill me otherwise."

"W-wait at least just carry meeeeee!" Ignoring the fishes' request, Kameo put the device right back where it had been and swam swiftly back to shore. Once there, she carried the board back to the restaurant, carrying the object into the back rooms where her clothes were. She set the board aside, leaning it against the wall and taking the digivice and placing it on a nearby counter.

"Aaaah so glad that's over with...."

"Heh," Kameo simply chuckled as she grabbed her typical attired - white and blue jacket, with some fairly baggy pants and a simple black tank top. "Hey, any Emails from the spider girl yet?" She asked as she pulled her clothes on over her swimsuit. She was going to be heading back out in an hour or so when her shift ended anyways, taking it off was just going to be annoying.

"Ah! It seems you just got one. Arukenimon just sent it."

"Ah! Great, looks like my break is gonna be a looot longer, heh!" she quickly scrambled to pull her clothes on and walk over to her laptop to make sure everything was in order. She grabbed the device, pointed it at the wall and,

"Digital Gate open!" In an instant, she was back in the digital world.

"Kameo!"

As soon as she had been plopped down, a familiar voice greeted her.

"Hey, Swi." Kameo greeted brightly. "Miss me?"

"Technically, we were together the entire time..."

"Pfft, yeah, but, I'm actually physically present now. Kinda."

"E-erm, true. Anyways. I wonder wat Arukenimon wants from us today?"

"No idea! Lets go find out!" Before Swimmon could stop their over eager partner, the fish digimon swam after the redhead, zipping through the air as easily as it likely would have through water.

"So, they'll be here soon?" Flamedramon asked, waiting with Lilymon and Arukenimon in the main room of the Tamer's Bureau. It really hadn't been too long since she sent the emails. Yumeko and Rachel's first, then Kameo's. She wanted a chance to talk to the first two girls before introducing the latter.

Soon enough, one of the girls came in. Yumeko and her partner Tinkermon. They made a friendly combo. "Hey everyone. How are you all?" She asked to the group of Digimon. Flamedramon tried a friendly face, but he was brooding a bit too much. Thinking of what to do. "... Did we..." She question, her face showing she was easily uncomfortable.

"Ahhh, don't worry about him. He's just trying to think about useless things at the moment. It's not your fault at all. It couldn't be help." Arukenimon said. Her face hardly changed so Yumeko had a hard time reading it at first. Soon enough she softened her face and nodded. "We hadn't expected the Hackers and Chessmon to be in cahoots with each other. We really should have sent in someone else to help, but what's done is done."

Flamedramon nodded, "Sorry, not meaning to frighten you or anything. Just weighing the options. Nothing I can think of though." He seemed to have a thought, but looked to have internally dismissed it.

Soon enough, the door opened and Rachel and Impmon came in. Seems like they were bickering not too long ago. "Oh, Rachel and Impmon. I... Half expected you two to not be here." The note did ask for the both of them... Yumeko didn't think that someone that acted like Rachel would show up a second time.

Arukenimon chimed in though, "And better than that! I have pants... Oh, nevermind. You have them on.
I'll just keep them here for you."
The Spider Woman said as she walked over to a closet and set them in there, waiting for the next time Rachel forgot her pants. "Good, good. Now, I have good news! We have another tamer for you all to partner up with! She's pretty energetic and likes to swim. Should be heeeeerrrrreeeee........" The Digimon said as a door opened with a bubbly looking red-head and a fish-like creature. "Now! Introduce yourself!"

~Rachel Holt~

After their initial greeting, Impmon and Rachel made their way towards the tamers Bureau. In silence, for the most part, aside from teh grumblings of Impmon as the small imp digimon rubbed his cheeks after they were assaulted by a certain deadpan human. Still, the imp didn't seem to mind too much. It didn't take them long to get to the Bureau, Impmon confidently walking in front of Rachel as the two seemed to be the second pair to arrive.

"Howdy Yumenko. Tinkermon." Impmon cheerfully greeted in response to Yumeko's comment about them not showing up. "And don't you worry, I convinced this layabout to get off her butt."

"...I can leave though." Rachel commented, fixing Yumeko with her normal passive, half asleep expression.

"No you can't, and no you're not." The digimon grumbled. "Bah, whoda'thunk I'd have to be the responsible one around here." Rachel simply shifted her gaze over to Arukenimon who was walking over to her with a set of pants. The human tilted her head slightly to the side, and in the most serious tone she could muster replied to the digimon.

"...I can take the pants off if you want."

~Kameo Hale~

The redhead, followed by the odd fish digimon made their way swiftly through the digital world to the appointed meeting place. Swimmon seemed to be having trouble keeping up with the redhead however. The digimon was wobbling slightly as it zipped through the air, trying to get Kameo to slow down but the human wasn't having any of it. Kameo if nothing, had lots of energy to spare. Even so, with their pace it seemed like they were the last group to show up - and Kameo happened to walk in at just the right time.

"Who's taken who's pants off now?" She giggled brightly as she walked into the room. "AH! Hey, it's the other tamers." The redhead grinned brightly, immediately running over to Rachel and giving her a bright greeting. "Hey, what's with that sleepy expression of yours?" Kameo questioned. "Have a little more energy!" She gave Rachel a friendly punch on the shoulder, the other girls expression not changing in the slightest. "Ah, I'm Kameo! Nice to meet both of ya!" She said, turning to Yumeko and giving her a grin. "The silly fish over there's Swimmon."

"P-pleasure to meet you. I apologize for Kameo. She's a little...over exuberant." The fish replied, trying to catch its breath after feeling like it swam an entire marathon to get here.

"Pfft, you just are under exuberant."

Tinkermon fluttered over to Swimmon and look it in the eyes. "So, uhh, you our backup for dinner?" The small fairy joked a bit, but kept a serious look. It was always fun to make others worry a bit. Yumeko sighed a bit. OF course she'd try this type of thing again.

Ignoring Tinkermon's teasing for now, she looked to the new girl. She was tan. She wasn't sure about why she was quite so tan, but she seemed the sporty type so it was probably something like that. "Well, it's nice to meet you, uh, Kameo." That was a weird name. It had a Japanese sound to it, but it didn't really seem like one. Not one heard at least. "My name's Yumeko. Yumeko Yukihara. It's nice to meet you and Swimmon." The girl said as she extended a hand. This was a universal hello... Right?

~Rachel & Kameo~

"Dinner!? I am not dinner you winged pest! I am a mighty, beautiful resident of the sea, Swimmon! You would do well to remember that!" The fish digimon replied with a huff. It seemed it might have a high opinion of itself. The fish digimon made a flourish of its fins, twirling in the air as if it was making an attempt to show off its beauty. Overhearing their conversation, Rachel decided to chime in on the mischief as well.

"Sushi?"

"I-I am not food! I object to this treatment!" Kameo was too busy talking with Yumeko to save her digimon from the hungry eyes of Rachel and Tinkermon.

"Nice to meet ya Yumeko! Kameo. Kameo Hale! I'm from Hawaii! If the tan didn't give it away, heh! In fact, my grandparents are from Hawaii so that's why my name's probably a bit weird." She grinned. For a second, it seemed like she was going to accept the handshake, she made a move to grab Yumeko's with her own. At the last second however, Kameo's hand changed trajectory entirely, and Kameo wrapped her in a friendly, light hug very briefly. "Never met someone from Japan though! We get tourists a lot from the states, but its a bit more rare to see 'em from across the pond. Erm, of course, Hawaii is part of the states too, heh! Not that I've actually ever been to the mainland except when I was little, but I don't remember that." The redhead seemed perfectly friendly, and seemed like she liked to talk too.

"Nice to meet both of ya." Impmon said, waltzing up to Kameo. "Heh, you're a lively little varmint aren't ya? The name's Impmon. The sleepy one over there's Rachel." Rachel gave a lazy wave in response. "Don't mind her uh, whatever it is she normally's like. I don't even know what she's thinkin' half the time." Impmon grunted in irritation as he thought of the various times he had tried to initiate conversation with Rachel, only to be met with a blank stare.

"Geeeez, I'm just messin' with ya' fish face. I don't really like fish all too much anyway." Tinkermon said as she giggled at the fish digimon's displeasure of having a joke played on it. "I hope we can get along well enough." Tinkermon said as she wandered over to Impmon and landed on the digimon's head. "What's that? You don't really understand your tamer? Hah! You need work a bit on that, Impmon. I'm already, like, a kajillion steps ahead of you there." She was light enough to just sit there, luckily for Impmon.

Yumeko didn't really have time to consider what was going on otherwise. This girl just hugged her? That was weird. They didn't know each other, like, at all. "Ahh, so you're from Hawaii... The US then?" She.... Didn't really pay it much mind, making it out to be just a US custom... Or maybe just Hawaii. "Yes, I was thinking your name was some sort of odd Japanese name at first. But that'd make a bit more sense."

Tinkermon had a bit of a devious idea though. "Oh! Uhh, Kameo, right... Uhh, I think Rachel would like a hug too. She looks like she's been needing one for a while now. Like, since we first met. Right, Impmon?" She asked the partner to Rachel. Either he'd mess up and get a hit from Rachel, or he'd not play along. Either way, it worked for Tinkermon. She was fast enough to escape harm either way.

~Rachel & Kameo~

"A-ah! A...a joke. Yes. yes, of course." Swimmon replied quickly somewhat stiffly. "And ahem, yes...I do hope we can get along." The fish type digimon seemed to be put at ease as it was told this was all just a joke on their part.

"Haven't...eaten today." Rachel replied with a disappointed seeming sigh, blankly staring towards the fish.

"...W-whatever you're thinking I-i am not iiiiit!" Swimmon fluttered back over to Kameo, hovering just slightly above the redheads shoulder as Rachel simply stared at the fish hungrily.

"Aha, yeah, I guess native Hawaiian names and Japanese names sounds a bit similar, don't they?" Kameo laughed with a grin. "Hale's a totally American surname though." She reached over to Swimmon, picking the fish up by a fin and giving it a friendly grin. "Hey hey, I'm pretty sure she's just playin' with ya, Swimmy. Go play with Impmon or somethin'"

Impmon was dealing with a different type of pest, however, and a bit occupied to entertain Swimmon. As soon as Tinkermon landed on his head, the imp digimon grunted lightly in displeasure. It turned its head upwards, frowning slightly as it waved a hand over its head, as if trying to swat away a fly or other pest.

"Dang-nab-bit. Do I look like a free barstool to ya or something?" It asked in mild annoyance. "And you try talking with that human! I tell ya, a rock is more expressive than she is!" Impmon hopped over to Rachel, pointing to the human with its usual slightly annoyed expression. "Look at her." Rachel proceeded to yawn, stretching tiredly before taking a seat on the floor and grabbing Impmon. "Less expressive than a rock!" Of course, the pixie didn't seem too intent on leaving him alone regardless.

in fact, the little pest was being an instigator.

"Nope, nope, I am not having any part of this, nope." Impmon quickly jumped at least five feet away from Rachel before she could make any attempt to do whatever it is she normally did to him after he tried messing with her. Rachel herself, turned to stare directly at Tinkermon.

"Eeeh?" Kameo's gaze immediately turned towards the three of them. "Ah! Sleepy face." At this Rachel gave her a deadpan expression, tilting her head to the side slightly. "Rachel's your name, right! You...kinda don't have much presence so I totally forgot you were there. Soooory~" She laughed, hopping over to the girl, seemingly paying no attention to Tinkermon at all. "Here's Kameo!~" Before Rachel could make a swift exit, Kameo had already wrapped her arms around the girl with a light hug. Rachel simply kept her usual half asleep expression as her face was smooshed right into Kameo's chest.

"There, hug for everyone!" Kameo laughed brightly, releasing the sleepy girl. Rachel simply took a few steps away from the energetic redhead, giving her a somewhat sleepy smile before turning back to tinkermon, the sleepy smile turning into a frown as her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly.

"...bug net?" She made a motion, as if she was holding an invisible net with one hand and with the other she made the motion of spraying something. "...bug spray?"

Tinkermon sneered at Rachel, "If you think you have any skill, you might as well try the net. Spray is for losers that are too scared to actually face the threat." She flew up to Rachel's ear and whispered in. "Besides, you look like the type that likes nice soft feelings. . . Like the lovely pillows of a girl... You should be thanking me." The little pixie teased before flying back to Yumeko.

"You probably shouldn't tease others so much. Yumeko chided Tinkermon.

"Pfft, Rachel is most harmless to me. I'm the fastest Rookie Digimon alive. She ain't catching me without a couple of tricks." The little fairy was sure to keep an eye on the human for a while now. She might do something for revenge still.

"Sorry about Tinkermon, Swimmon. She's a bit of a tease, but I think you're pretty safe." Yumeko said as Arukenimon interrupted them all.

"Well, well. Let's move on to the debriefing. Lilymon, would you tell them the mission for me. Since you have the terminal there at least." Arukenimon said as she looked over the plant digimon.

"Sure, sure! It's pretty simple!" Lilymon said looking over a computer moniter quickly and turning it around so everyone could see. [b]"There's some fighting going on at Debug Lake."[b]

Flamedramon decided to cut in, "Debug Lake is what it sounds like. When Digimon feel sick they go and relax in the waters. It cures most problems, just not what the Hackers have done."

Lilymon sighed. "Yes, exactly. And that's where the troubles come in. There are a couple of lake tribes. The issue here though seems to be between a local Gabumon tribe and a Gomamon tribe and the fact the lake itself seems to be having some problems. We're not entirely sure about what they have issues with though."

Arukenimon cut in looking to Lilymon before, "Send the location to their Digivices." Lilymon smiled and nodded while Arukenimon looked over to the Tamers. "So, we just want you to go and see what the problem is. Try to resolve it if you can. That lake is a precious commodity to sick Digimon everywhere, so if we can resolve the issue the sooner the better. Any questions?" Arukenimon asked the tamers.

~Rachel & Kameo~

Rachel simply returned to her usual deadpan expression as Tinkermon replied. She was a lively little thing, wasn't she? Huhm. A net would be too good for her. Maybe...

"...cage?" Rachel spoke softly. "Computer Virus?" She wondered. If these creatures really were little bits of data...could she create a virus or some other means of actually doing something to them? Like, directly killing them or something. Would make fights a lot easier. Would also mean she could easily mess with Impmon and Tinkermon. Huhm. Decisions decisions. Still, she'd wait for a good opportunity to mess with Tinkermon for now.

"I really don't like the things you say sometimes, partner. Like, I'm shady as a puddle of yellow water but you make me wonder 'bout that tumbleweed rollin around in your noggin sometimes." Rachel just yawned, taking a seat near Impmon and grabbing him before he could get away. She placed him in her lap, and rested her chin on his head before idly watching the other events unfold. Looks like she had more listening to do.

"R-right!" Swimmon replied to Yumeko. Of course, of course. It was a joke. They were joking. Not like they could eat or defeat her fabulous self anyways! She was the prettiest sea creature of them all.

"Besides, the only one allowed to eat you is me!~"

"....Kameo please don't joke about eating me too..." Swimmon complained in mild disbelief.

"Whooo said I was joking?"

"That's even worse, Kameo!" Before she could tease the fish further though, Arukenimon decided they had enough time to chat.

"Ooh, a lake!" Kameo seemed excited to be visiting a digital body of water at least. Both the redhead and Rachel listened intently, Rachel remaining silent for the most part with Kameo making little comments of her own throughout the briefing. Swimmon at least knew of Debug lake it seemed, though Impmon didn't seem too impressed with it. After the briefing was over, Rachel seemed to more or less not have any questions, as usual.

"Hm." Kameo frowned slightly as the briefing finished. This was no good at all. "Could it be the hackers again?" She questioned. She had yet to have her own little digital adventure or run in with the villains, but from what she heard they were dangerous. And, as she was an ally of justice, she should always be ever vigilant and watchful! "Ah!" Kameo's demeanor changed from serious to bright in a near instant. "Hey hey, can humans swim in the lake?"

"Kameo I don't think now's the time."

"It's possible, but from what little we know... It's not probable." Arukenimon said before answering the next question. "And yes, humans can swim in the lake. It won't help with illness for you or anything though."

"It helps Digimon by reverting hurt parts of their data to normal, and that only happens due to every species having a source code. Sort of a genetic make-up as you humans have. It typically targets viruses and the like and reverts affected areas to the source." Flamedramon said, giving a small idea of how it worked.

Arukenimon nodded. "So in short, it's just a nice, cool, refreshing dip in the water. I also have swimsuits in all of your sizes." Yumeko just looked at the spider woman with awe. Not only did she have pants for Rachel but also a swimsuit for all of them? Arukenimon then distributed a set to both Rachel and Yumeko who cautiously accepted. Luckily, it was a one piece for her. Rachel got a bikini. "I already know you already have a swimsuit on, right Kameo?" Regardless the group was shooed off afterward and Yumeko lead the group to the Digital Gate.

"This is... An interesting day. So, assuming you've not traveled with the Digital Gate anywhere aside home... I'll show ya' how it's done, Kameo. Tinkermon." The Japanese girl said as the little fairy hopped on her shoulder. Yumeko walked them to the Gate device and picked the location that they received from the Bureau on her digivice. "So, you pick the location on your digivice from the Locations Menu and then say, 'Digital Gate, Open.'" As she said the words, she disappeared from sight...

Soon, Rachel found herself transported to a lake front. It was beautiful, with a pier and a path to a log cabin building. That'd probably where they want to make first contact. They might get a decent map with landmarks on it there. But first... She stepped aside and waited for the other two pairs to make their way here first.

Hmm...perhaps she should take a sample or something if it was used for healing? Would be useful for on the fly healing if Impmon got injured. Rachel listened to the workings of the lake. Huhm, perhaps it'd be interesting to see how it'd work. Maybe she could code something useful out of it. Would be interesting to see if she could do something nice with it anyways. A...swimsuit, though? Rachel looked at Arukenimon with her normally passive expression.

"...huh." She said, a small smile forming and looking passively towards the side. "Didn't think Arukenimon was that type of person." Whatever she meant by that, she didn't reply and merely looked at the...bikini. Well, not like she cared considering her typical not exactly innocent under garment choice of attire.

"...y'know, knowing their sizes is kidna creepy." Impmon grimaced slightly, though didn't say much else before Kameo interrupted.

"Wahaha, yep! Just got back from the beach so I already got one on, yeah." The redhead energetically replied.

"This girl spends more time in the ocean than I do." Swimmon replied with a quiet chuckle. "But uhm, yes, please show Kameo, Yumeko." Kameo quickly followed Yumeko over to the gate, swimmon right on her heels. The redhead watched with rapt attention as the gate was opened, and followed Yumeko in right after she hopped in herself.

Rachel though, lagged behind as usual taking a full extra thirty seconds to even get standing. She stretched, ignoring Impmon's protests wanting her to move faster. The sleepy girl yawed, walking over to the gate before opening it herself, and following the other two out.

Rachel was the last to emerge from the portal, Impmon right behind her. The lake was...very picturesque to say the least. The lake sparkled, the sun reflecting beautifully off of it. There was even a gentle breeze blowing. Looked like a pretty good, prime napping spot.

...well, if it wasn't for a certain loud redhead.

"Oh my god this place is amazing." Kameo grinned, by the time Rachel had made her way through the gate the redhead had already bolted over to the lakes edge, staring at the sparkling water. "Alllright, I'm feeling pumped! Hey you two, what ya think we should do first, eh?" She asked the other two. Rachel tilted her head to the side, in her usual thinking manner. Though, the fact it was pointing conveniently towards the cabin likely meant she was just too lazy to make any other large movement.

"Rachel says we should probably check that cabin. I think." Impmon said with a grunt as Rachel started walking in the exact opposite direction. "...Hurhm. She says she's gonna go check out the lake herself though." Impmon said with a small frown. "Uh, she don't seem intent on followin' you guys, so I guess I'll see you guys later."

Yumeko and Kameo

Yumeko, Kameo, Tinkermon and Swimmon made their ways to the beach house. Yumeko was, well, not especially surprised Rachel left on her own towards the beach. She liked to be a lone-wolf it seemed. Still, the beach house seemed like a good thing to start out with. Inside... There were a lot of turtle things. "Kamemon, a rookie level. Water-living Digimon, not too surprised they live here. Heyo! Buckos!" Tinkermon said before floating over to one of the Kamemon standing behind a counter and asking, "So, like, what's this I hear about Gomamon and Gabumon fighting?"

"Gomamon and Gabumon?" The Kamemon asked. "I dunno about that. Try to keep my nose out of their business." But he reached behind the counter and pulled up a glass with some liquid. "But, I might know something if you have the BITs."

Tinkermon made a scrunched up face and went back to Yumeko. "BITs?" The Japanese girl asked the fairy, confused.

"BITs are a form of currency."

"Like Yen?"

"Yea, something like that. We don't get any of that." Tinkermon complained. Yea, they didn't. The Bureau didn't seem to give them any. "We might as well head to the Gomamon or Gabumon tribe if we can't convince anyone else in here." There was a couple of others here. A Gatomon, Falcomon, and a small group of Gatsumon.

Rachel

As Rachel made her her way to the lake with Impmon, they would notice something. A cute little water spirit looking thing. It was crying and ran up to the two, pulling on Rachel's clothes. "H-help me....." There was nothing noticeably dangerous around either, so.... Maybe she should see what was wrong.

~Kameo~

"E-eh? Where do you think you're going?" Upon receiving no reply from Rachel as she waltzed off, Kameo harrumphed in mild annoyance. "Is she always like that?" She questioned with a frown, before sighing and walking back into the building alongside Yumeko. As she walked inside, Swimmon floated next to her as they found numerous turtle things inside of the cabin. Kamemon, as Tinkermon introduced them. When asked for information, the digimon flatly refused unless they were paid bits.

"Eeeeh?" Kameo frowned, pouting slightly. "Come on, we're digimon tamers! Heroes of justice! Allies of peace! Come on, you have no reason whatsoever to not help us ya stingy tortoise."

"O-oh dear. Kameo, please don't."

"Aww, come on Swimmon! They're being ridiculous. Splash 'em for me!"

"I refuse."

"Well fine!" Kameo harrumphed. "Hey hey, cat thing!" kameo said, bouncing over to the Gatomon. "Since those tortoise are being stingy, you think you could help us at least? Any information about bad stuff going on around here?"

~Rachel~

As they left the others, Rachel made a beeline for the lake shore. She wanted to take a look at how it worked - that was her main motivation in things like this, after all. Maybe she should spend more time in the digital world after this. It would be interesting, wouldn't it? Or at least, it would help kill the boredom and tedium she faced on daily basis at home. Not that she would admit easily that she was enjoying everyone or their company, though.

Before she could get a chance to inspect the supposed healing waters, her thoughts were interrupted.

"O-oi...who's the crybaby?" Impmon frowned as Ranamon rushed over to Rachel, pulling on her clothes and tearfully asking for help. Rachel frowned, unsure of how to respond to this. "H-hey, you alright there?" Impmon continued after seeing Rachel's hesitation.

Yumeko and Kameo

Yumeko and Tinkermon followed the bubbly girl as she went over to ask the Gatomon if it knew anything. The cat was quietly sipping on some sort of resort looking drink through a straw when Kameo addressed it. First, it just blankly stared at Kameo while it finished it's sip of it's drink. "What? Bad? Like, that thing with the Gomamon and Gabumon. That's... All I know. Really..." It, she? Sounded really confused. [b]"Sorry if I couldn't be any more help? Most of the people in here are people that came here to treat illness in the waters so maybe you should go to the Gabumon or Gomamon Village and figure it out?

Yumeko looked to Kameo. "We probably should then I guess."

Gatomon just looked at the group and pointed out past the pier. "The Gabumon village is out past the pier. Might want to go there first."

Yumeko looked to Kameo, curious what the girl was going to do. She didn't feel like getting seperated from both of her teammates. Tinkermon set herself on Yumeko's shoulder almost uninterested, trying to figure out what that one girl was out doing.

Rachel

The Ranamon moved over to Impmon. "I-it's my friend! She's having trouble in the water!" She seemed easily distressed. It was odd, to be sure, but she seemed genuine. "I mean, she's not going to Digi-die or anything... But you know, I still need help! Oh, she might just die-die! That'd be worse!" Rachel might want to help out the digimon. After all, she or her friend might be able to give more information. Or, just walk off. What was this girl to her anyway?

~Kameo~

"Haaa..." Kameo scrunched her face as Gatomon replied. Didn't know anything either? The redhead could only sigh in disappointment. "Well, at least ya were more helpful than a certain stingy turtle." She replied with a huff. "Thanks a bunch! Come on then, Yumeko! To the pier! Ah..actually." Kameo came to a halt, stopping right in the door to the cabin causing Swimmon to bump into her side as the redhead turned back around to address Yumeko.

"Hey, maybe we should go find Rachel. I can drag her with us if she don't want to come." Kameo suggested. "They sent the three of us on this little mission, so it probably means they think they need the three of us to do it." That seemed logical to her at least. Swimmon just floated idly, seemingly content with silence on the subject.

~Rachel~

Rachel frowned. Well, it seemed like trouble was happening, and while she was loathe to do any sort of physical work of any kind it seemed like a bad idea to try and not help in some fashion. Rachel glanced over to the lake, looking for any signs of trouble while Impmon did the talking. She'd be heading in that direction anyways, so she might as well help then, if she could.

"Woah, woah, slow down there bucko." Impmon said. "Where's your friend at? What sorta trouble are they havin' exactly? Forgot to put on their digi-floties or something?" The imp teased lightly, casting a glance over to Rachel. It seemed as if Rachel wanted to help too? He couldn't really tell all too well. If her half asleep gaze peering over the surface of the water was any indication, at least. "If ya could take us to her I'm sure we could do somethin' about it."

Yumeko and Kameo

"Sounds good to me." Yumeko said in agreement with her companion.

Tinkermon sighed, "That girl is so hard to actually work with though."

Yumeko just looked at her the small fairy thinking over it a little bit before sighing herself. "Well, it doesn't hurt to have extra hands. Even if the hands don't want to do anything." She said looking to Kameo again. "Lets go pick her up."

Rachel

The Ranamon grabbed Impmon and Rachel by the hands and pulled them towards a huge rock on the waterfront. It seemed like it didn't especially belong there, but there were many weird sights in the Digital World. This one was too. It looked like a type of sandstone from the desert. Behind it was a human girl in the shallows. Well, the head of a human girl. The water was up to the middle of her chin. She looked happy to see people. "I'm back, Lana! I'm sorry I took too long!"

"Oh! Thank goodness you're here Ranamon! I thought the water was raising up in an attempt to swallow me up!" She tried moving but there was nothing she could do. It seemed she was stuck in the ground. "Hey! Uhhh, girlie and... Umm..."

"Impmon?"

"Yea! Yea, Impy. Help me get out of the ground here! If you do, I'll show you something you've probably not seen before! It's pretty cool!" This, "Lana" said. She seemed... Rather energetic. Still, she was trapped. It seemed like it would take a little work to get her out, but doable. "Pretty pretty, please?!"

~Rachel~

Rachel allowed herself to be led, Impmon with her. Well, whatever. Wasn't like she was doing much else at the moment. She could come observe the water in her free time later, she supposed. Though, she didn't like the fact that this was infringing upon her already established free time, but eh. Wasn't like she could do much about it at the moment. When Ranamon finally led them to where they were going and where her friend was, Rachel knew one thing.

This was goddamn suspicious. She had seen mimic traps in video games before, and this smelled of that.

...still, though, it'd be annoying if it wasn't and then something happened. Further still though, she wasn't risking her own bones for whatever this was.

"H-hey! How'd she get stuck out there?" Impmon questioned. He couldn't really understand how someone could become trapped out there. "Hey, partner. What'dyou reckon we should do?" Impmon turned to look at Rachel who merely tilted her head at him. "...no. NO WAY NOT HAPPENING-gah lemme gooooo!" Before he could protest further Rachel had scooped Impmon up in her arms.

"Clothes...will get wet."

"Tarnation woman I am not a ball!" Before impmon could say anything else, Rachel had tossed him out into the water near the other girl, hitting the water with a splash and taking a few seconds before surfacing with a splash. "Gah! Yer lucky this water's nice or I'd drag you in here myself!" With a grumble, Impmon swam over to where the girl was. "Alright, girly, how'd ya get stuck here?"

Meanwhile Rachel just kept her eyes on this Ranamon.

Rachel

Lana closed her eyes as Impmon splashed in some nearby water. Ranamon wasn't really phased but as Impmon spoke, Lana replied and answered, "Ahh, yes, I'm not sure. We came to play in the water... And, uhh, well, I don't really know. I guess there was a hole in the rock. Seriously sounds like I'm lying, but uhhh... I got a swimsuit on, so I hope I'm not. There should be enough room for someone to reach in and grab my arms... If you could help Ranamon get me unstuck I'd be so! SO, SO, SO, SO, SO GLAD!" She seemed genuine at least. "Oh! Hey, girl! Help me out and you can see my swimsuit! It's cute!" It was a bad attempt at trying to get out. Not many girls were interested in that kind of thing after all.

"Lana..." Ranamon said, giving a pitying look towards her friend. "Has the water gone to your head?"

"I don't know, maybe she likes girls."

~Rachel~

Rachel remained silent, sighing clicking her tongue lightly in annoyance as the girl made an obvious move to tease her. Not that she particularly minded that sort of teasing but this was getting troublesome. The sleepy girl stretched her arms, yawning as she bent one of her legs behind her back, grabbing it and giving it a good pull. Well, might as well. This has suspicious written all over it like a treasure chest that was breathing suspicious, but...why not.

Rachel pulled off her shoes, tossing them carelessly onto the ground before walking into the water with her usual lazy pace. Thankfully it didn't take her long to get to the girl, Lana, and Rachel gave her her typical deadpan expression.

"Alright, alright. We'll help ya Lana. Shouldn't be too difficult to pull ya free from this rock, what, with my bulgin muscles and excellnt skills I'll have ya out in a jiffy."

Rachel stayed silent, poking the girl hard on the cheek before attempting to pull her free.

~Kameo~

"So," Kameo happily began as Yumeko followed her out of the shack. It shouldn't be too hard to find Rachel. She couldn't have gone too far from them, could have she? Judging from how slowly she moved, the girl would take a month to get from one side of the room to another. "What's japan like?" She asked the japanese girl, earning a small huff from Swimmon.

"Kameo that's a little rude, don't you think?" The fish asked, swimming through the air behind her.

"Eeeh? What? We're teammates! Teammates should get to know each other!" Kameo said with a laugh. "It's not like I'm asking her three sizes or somethin. Though, if she wants to tell I'm not gonna say no." She snickered impishly, giving Yumeko a grin.

"...you can ignore her. She's dumber than digi kelp."

"I'll have you know I aced all of my exams in school!" Kameo brushed off the teasing and continued. "But seriously! I've always wanted to go to Japan! But I can't really go. Gotta help by grandparents at the restaurant."
