The basic idea for “Dawne: The Life and Times of Kurosuoba” is to create and follow a cast of seemingly normal characters in a small rural city that by all appearances is fairly mundane and unimportant. The nearest comparison that can be made is animated series like Non Non Biyori, Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, Kiniro Mosaic, Saki, Gin no Saji, and of course, Azumanga Daioh. Whether this story evolves from a blank slate into something more representative of a club anime, a suspense thriller, or something in-between is dependent entirely on the natural progression and collaboration between two parties.

Currently this 1x1 is “filled” as @Sola has decided to test the waters as my collaborative partner with this concept. For anyone else, well, I guess you’ll have to read on and find out how it goes.

Kurosuoba itself is loosely based on the rural city of Nantan, Japan, of which is located within the Kyoto Prefecture in Southern Japan. The central location being near (or part of) Nantan allows for creative freedom whilst providing a central, tangible location that can be referenced when needed.

I do have to say that I love the picture that you have for the header. I never said it despite seeing it several times, but I like it--gives off the vibe the concept is trying to produce.

Yeah, I had to retool it a bit (new font skills and all that) to fit with my current “aesthetic”. I’ve always wanted to use it for something that actually starts.

Do you have an idea what we should use as a sheet, other than a basic "name and other information, personality and background?" I'm wondering what else would be of importance for the sheet.

I figure we’ll use what we need or want to reference. I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll be editing into my own sheet(s), but right now I’ll probably stick to the basics.

I reckon we should sort out how we want to start the RP and gradually work on the profiles as we feel the need.
