A woman with dark hair and pink glasses was there to greet them. "Alola assorted Champions and friends!" She said with a cheery smile. "My name is Wicke, and I'm the Assistant Branch Cheif of the Aether Foundation. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." She wore a bright, chipper smile. "If you will follow me, I'll take you to Miss Lusamine, the head of the Aether Foundation."

[Azure Flame]

"Pleasure to meet you Wicke, Chuck North, Runner up to the Champion of Kanto." Chuck said.

"An honor," Ricke replied happily. "Now, if you'll follow me to the elevator, I'll take you to Miss Lusamine"

[Azure Flame]

"So, Wicke, what exactly do you guys do here?" Chuck asked, looking around as he went to the elevator.

"We take in injured Pokémon and care for them until they are strong enough to return to the wild, and not just for the Pokémon here in Alola, but for Pokémon all over the world."

[Azure Flame]

"Very commendable. As someone who comes from a family who own and run a Pokémon Daycare, I have deep respect for those who take care of their Pokémon."

"Why, thank you. I'm sure you're like to compare notes with Miss Lusamine, as I'm sure that getting the perspective of a daycare worker would help us out here." The elevator came to a stop. "Miss Lusamine is behind this door." Wicke announced as she went to open the door, there was a familiar voice screaming "Mother!" Wicke opened the door to see a woman that Liam assumed to be Lusamine hugging Lillie from the Trainer's School, who was carrying her Alolan Vulpix, Snowy in her arms.
"Excuse me, Miss Lusamine, the champions and friends are here.

"I hope we're not intruding." Chuck said, bowing to Lusamine.

"Hey, I remember you guys, you were guest speakers at the school!" Lillie said.
"Vul!" Snowy chirped in, wagging her tails.
Lusamine introduced herself and thanked them for coming, telling them that she asked for them to come because she needs the help and she figures that some Champions would be of great help in that.

"It'd good to see you again Lillie, we're here to do whatever we can to help." Chuck said.

"Oh, that's great!" Lusamine said. "Now, by chance have any of you ever heard of 'Ultra Beasts'?"
"I haven't," Liam said.

[Azure Flame]

"Only rumors that they were Pokémon from another dimension." Chuck said. "But that they didn't actually exist, that it's all just an old tale."

Lusamine told them that they are real and that many Ultra Beasts have been breaking into their world. As they are mostly unknown, your pokedexes will have absolutely no information on them. While we do not have much on them, I can update your Pokedexes to have what information we do have on them."

[Azure Flame]

"That's definitely some exciting news! Real Ultra Beasts!" Chuck said, handing his Pokedex over.

Lusamine had a computer on standby with many USB cords plugged in, as well as few adaptions for the more advanced Rotomdex to get the update. Liam's Pokédex was plugged into one of the slots for the update.

Jen just listens as she hands herRotomdex to Lusamine for the update. She heard rumors about the the Ultra Beasrs and is excite the Legand is true.

Shiranui plugged his Pokédex into the computer and downloaded the update. He confirmed that most of the new entries reflected the limited data the Aether Foundation had on the Ultra Beasts with ten out of the eleven new entries having code names. He checked out the only named Ultra Beast that they knew about. "Nihilego, the Parasite Pokémon (alias: UB-01 Symbiont). One of several mysterious Ultra Beasts. People on the street report observing those infested by it suddenly becoming violent."
"This sounds similar to reports I read about Unown and Giratina appearing from their respective worlds and spiriting people away," stated Shiranui, "What's so different about these Ultra Beasts?"

Lusamine talked about how the Ultra Beasts are Pokémon or Pokémon-like creatures that come from another world through what she was calling Ultra Wormholes. Being such rare creatures, they could be sought after by poachers, but they also could be helpful in learning about this other world. Its geography, its climate, and so on. No scientist worth their salt would let such research simply pass them by. "So, I have found a way to detect the presence of Ultra Beasts and would like it if you guys could go and either capture as many of them as possible to help with the research. I even have had special Pokéballs made to help with this" She holds out the special kind of ball," Lusamine held up a ball that was patterned with the square grid of old polygon based video games but of a bright blue instead of the green. Four yellow talon-like markings went from the back of the ball to the center button. "This is a Beast Ball. "These are specially made for the Ultra Beasts and when used on them are only beaten by the Master Ball in how effective they are." She had Wicke give them a box full of them to use. "We of course only ask to get to study any Ultra Beasts you may manage to capture."
Lillie was annoyed at her mother, once again she began to get caught up in her work and was ignoring her. "I can't believe that I thought you would change mother!" Lillie called out. "You are always so busy with your work that you don't have time for anything other than treating me like a child!" Lillie stormed off in a huff, leaving Liam thinking that Lillie is acting like a child at the moment, but knowing better than saying something.

Silence filled the room after Lillie outburst, but soon a large explosion would rock the foundation as Veronica in her Kitsune attire drop down in Front of the group. "Looks like there here, it looks like it might be a tough battle though. It seems you've been bringing down his pouchers so much and gained his attention that he's been forced to send in his second in commander Alexander, who's known to wield only Psudo-legendary Pokemon, I guess this will be great practice for beating a dark Dragon master, when father shows up himself" Veronica told them only realising that Wicke and Lusmine were there when she looked at them. Veronica coughed before she said "Don't worry civilian, we'll keep this place safe from those horriable pouchers". She then quickly left them to go help the employees keep the Pokemon safe and to try and draw out Alexander.

"Alright guys, party time." Chuck said, grabbing one of his balls. He chucked it, and out came Azriel his Alakazam. "Azriel, I want you to go and try and round up as many Pokémon as you can, we need to make sure they get to safety." he turned to Lusamine, Wicke, and a group of Aether Foundation members. "Go with Azriel and spread out, safety of all the Pokémon here is top priority. Let us deal with the poachers. Azriel, form a mental link with everyone and anytime someone finds a Pokémon, teleport it to safety." The Alakazam nodded and went to begin the search.
