Its scales perfectly match strong vegetation.
Species name: Qinlong
Food source: Meat from lesser creatures it hunts in the jungles.
Size: Fifty Foot long, thick as horse. Weighs over 500 pounds.
Natural abilities: Immune to Poisons. Can cut down trees with a tail swipe or a slash of its claws. Can burrow with ease. Has strong sense of smell and eye sight. Heals quickly on its own. Can swim easily.
Magical abilities: It flies with ease. Can cast light and wind spells. Can control plants around it.
Usual Temperaments: A ferocious creature that prefers to stay hidden and stalk prey. When found it usually flies into a rage and attacks those unfortunate enough to locate it. An intelligent creature that prefers solitude.
Locations Found: Vrondi's thickest jungles. Thick forests near caves in Nero. Or near the river streams by the forests in Tearia.
Weaknesses: It is weak to fire. Also weak to Dark magic. Grows weaker in the dark.

If it’s only a few days walk (small island) there won’t be many monsters or places to explore...

@Dark Light Alright well you'll have to follow the main plot line now. Which revolves around Jones, Bidzil, and any other tamer. Your little side quest is shot.

As for places to explore and such you just let me worry about that. Just be glad you don't have to travel too far to get places.

Brute Devil

Species name: Brute Devil

Food source: Carnivore. Willing to eat any creature weaker than it.

Size: 12 feet tall, heavy with muscle. Like a dump truck on legs.

Natural abilities: The Brute Devil is naturally strong and durable. Naturally immune to fire and high heat.

Magical abilities: The Brute Devil can increase its body temperature until it is scalding hot. In extreme cases the body of the beast itself will be wreathed in flames. When it does this it can also throw giant handfuls of supernatural fire.

Usual Temperaments: The Brute Devil enjoys fighting creatures that are weaker than it, knocking them around with its great strength before eating them. However when faced with a creature of equal or greater strength the creature turns out to be quite the coward unless coerced into battle by something it fears.

Locations Found: Wherever yo think it fits.

Weaknesses: Water is slightly effective, but what is most damaging is lightning or light magic.

Scourge Devil

Species name: Scourge Devil

Food source: Exclusively a meat eater.

Size: the size and weight of an average human.

Natural abilities: The Scourge Devil is as strong and fast as a peak level human, and is very skilled with its bone axe. It is able to craft weapons for itself from wood and bone.

Magical abilities: The Scourge Devil's weapon inflicts a supernatural level of pain, truly excruciating pain. The devil seems to be able to enchant any weapon it crafts with this effect, weaving the magic into the bones themselvs.

Usual Temperaments: A sly monster, it is typically found in the company of Brute Devils. Using the pain inflicted by its weapon it urges the Brute into battles it would not normally take, typically forcing it into conflict with humans so that it might reap the spoils from the aftermath. When hunting it will hand back and allow the stronger monster to do the work, leaping out from hiding if it sees an opportunity to deal crippling blows or pick off those strafing from the group. Their lairs are typically filled with junk and treasure in equal measure, as it doesn't seem to differentiate between thing that have value and things that don't. It simply seems to want them because people have them.

This can lead to people dealing with the devil if it is encountered without a larger monster to fight for it. Thought unable to speak the human language it will trade the weapons it makes for compensation. However, it is dangerous to bargain with the devil. It may decide it wants its weapons back once it is again in a position of power. Because there have been multiple instances of the devil driving larger monsters towards towns and village in order to recollect its weapons during the chaos possession of a Scourge Devil weapon is illegal in most countries.

Locations Found: wherever the Brute Devil is.

Weaknesses: Light and lightning magic.

Quadrolisk "Shore Stalker"

Species name: Quadrolisk

Common name: Shore Stalker

Food source: Meat

Size: when standing upright, large ones can grow to be eight feet tall, though they average just over six.

Abilities: High speed and strong capable limbs covered in hard chitinous plates it uses for digging and smashing objects. It has a strong and sharp bite making taking chunks of meat off quickly and efficiently. It can impale targets with the spear like ends of its tendrils, either together or separately. it will often stab with all its tendrils and then spread them apart to open up its prey for a quick kill. Its tendrils each have many spines that can retract into itself, each highly effective nerve poison that stuns its prey as well as clots its blood. it will use these spines to either capture its prey in its grasp, immobilize it for later, rend flesh from its opponent, or for extra grip with its tendrils. It has enough power in its tendrils to suffocate its prey or break it's bones.

Temperment: Shore stalkers don't tend to make much noise unless looking for a mate, as they tend to keep to themselves. They are mainly located around Nero bodies of water, mainly but not restricted to rivers and sandy beaches. They tend to burrow and hide in soft soils and sand, or swim in shallow waters during most the day, though they can sometimes use this tactic to surprise prey, erupting from the ground or jumping out from shallow water to latch on to their next meal. During the night, they are most active in hunting for food. They will often stalk their prey for periods of time, waiting for good moments to strike, or can even set up its own ambush. There are very few of these creatures and most believe them to be myths. Often used as a tale to keep kids away from shallow waters.

Weaknesses: lightning magic, bright flashes of light

added bright flashes of light for a weakness as it prowls at night, but it isnt a darkness type so light magic in a holy sense shouldn't be a weakness. but messing with its night sight may do a lot.

Now for Hurruhs monsters you can feed one the crystal seed and increase the tier by a letter. That will give it an all around boost, making it larger and more capable in its abilities. Like Honey's healing at tier 1 - B or A will be a full healing spell.

Also keep track of what your monster ate. So for Armie put x2 next to it for the color of the berry it ate.

Well you did choose for them to be smaller than normal, and younger. I didn't think you were interested in having really capable monsters yet.

Would Ack begin to take on some of Sedna's traits at this point?

@Mogget I believe so. Sedna is a water spriggan so it's all about water magic. Ack is still a defensive creature. So it likely would just be able to cover its body in water. Making it more resistant to fire.
