Appearance
Michal is easily identifable by his rich, red hair that appears to be in constant state of chaos and a scar that runs from his upper right cheek to the right edge of his lip. In regards to his physical presence, Michal stands at six feet and three inches and maintains a clearly defined set of muscles. Women often find him favorable to the eyes, often against his desires. Underneath his uniform, his body is host to a canvas of scars dedicated to fights he nearly lost. No matter the situation, his emerald-like eyes never look their intensity. It is rare to ever hear him laughing. He is not afraid to get dirty and that often showcases on his uniform.

Personality
Serious on and off the battlefield, nothing seems to be able to get underneath Michal's skin. When speaking with others, he will often say what he truly thinks regardless of how it might make them feel. This has often put him at odds with those in charge. A harsh childhood has made him very wary of others, and so often believes any show of kindness is hidden by an ulterior motive. Rarely will he ever initiate conversation with another, but he will answer when spoke too. He can seem dismissive at times, but deep down he will help any squad-mate that needs it.

Michal holds a grim outlook on life and is willing to do anything without hesitation should it be necessary to protect his squad or stay alive himself. Any free time he receives he spends it either on the firing range or practicing hand-to-hand combat. Despite his rather stoic attitude, Any time a female approaches him he gets flustered without them even having to say a word. The mere proximity of women is enough for him to skin squirm, and will do his best to to distance himself as quickly as possible.

Biography
Mical doesn't like to talk about a lot of subjects but the one that is completely off-limits is his past. His life started in the small city of Ancaster in the Kingdom of Edinburgh, born into the poverty-stricken Blazek family. Children are supposed to feel safe in their home but that was not the case for Mical. His father was a heavy alcoholic and would raise hell every time he returned home from the steel mill he worked in. No matter how hard he tried to please his father, nothing was ever enough. His mother did nothing to protect him and this in turn made him view her spineless. That was why he started to spend his time out in the street more than at home, which is how he got involved with the Tin Pot Gang.

It was in the Tin Pot Gang that he finally found some semblance of a family. They looked out for him while he was out on the streets, and even taught him how to pick-pocket. Mical found he was very good at this and started doing this more and more frequently, often with the help of other young gang members like himself. As he got older, the gang had him do more and more dangerous crimes. It wasn't rare for Mical to be in the middle of fight over turf, more than often ending with someone getting stabbed or sliced open with a knife. He has several scars over his chest as mementos of those first fights. Life at home only got worse and Mical grew ever distant from his parents.

One night upon returning home, he came across a horrific scene. His father laid face-down in a pool of blood, several gunshot wounds in his chest. A short distance away was his mother, limp on the ground with his father's revolver just out of her reach and a single entry wound through her temple. Mical cried for what felt like the first, his heart a mess of conflicting emotions. He simply left their bodies there and ran out into the city, where he ran into the daughter of the local magistrate: Elizabeth Einzbern. She convinced her father to take him in, an opportunity to change his life. During his stay, he and Elizabeth developed a strong, personal connection that eventually blossomed into love. It was the happiest days of his life.

This brief period of joy was to be short lived. Elizabeth started to lose weight, loss the energy Mical fell in love with, and was plagued by constant fevers. After a visit to the doctor, Mical was told news he never wanted to hear: Elizabeth was dying from cancer. This revelation came shortly after the outbreak of the First Europan War. Slowly he watched the one person that made him happy...fade away. All the scars that had slowly begun to heal were violently ripped open. He did not have much time to process this before the military came for his service. It was through basic training that the broken pieces of him were put back together, although not in their original form. He was known for being at the top of his class for accuracy on the firing range. Now stationed out on the front lines, his only purpose is to fight.

Okay, I like the content, but there's two things I need to address. The first is the name. It may cause confusion knowing that there are three different characters will, what is essentially, the same name just spelt differently. It also doesn't help that one of those is also a marksman. The second is that I, though it was a while ago so I can understand the confusion, limited the role of marksman for the EW1 segment and it's already been taken. That's not to say you can become a marksman down the line, it's just as we start off I wanted to make sure we didn't have too many people hiding and defending areas.

While not very talkative herself and isn't one for making her own jokes, she has a loud laugh and will often play along with the antics of other people as long as nobody is getting seriously hurt. Growing up as a southpaw has also made her fascinated by any left-handed equipment or materials, especially moreso when she finds another left-handed person.

Very rarely will someone find her sitting down doing nothing, as prefers to indulge herself in doing something that she deems productive, even if it is as simple as reading a book or cleaning equipment. Taking from her mother, she is a good cook and is quite proud about it. Though she is prone to experimentation, so caution is advised whenever she's trying new or unfamiliar dishes.

On the battlefield, she will often be the first to volunteer to follow an order if it isn't addressed to anybody and she's not pinned on doing something else. Kalisa, however, does not make for a good leader. She didn't grow up around strategy games or the military, so she is bad at developing tactics or making decisions during operations. She does, instead, make for a good righthand woman. She will willingly follow orders and do her best to accomplish them. Kalisa respects those above her as long as the orders given to her aren't completely idiotic or obviously will lead to unnecessary deaths, which is when she'll usually begin voicing her concern.

Biography
Kalisa is an adopted Darcsen child of the Larsen family, alongside her older biological brother, Kasper. Her adoptive parents aren't of Darcsen lineage, but they carry respect for them after they were once helped by a group of Darcsens during an avalanche that almost killed them. The Larsens resided in the city of Ishgard, where the harsh freezing climate of the Diebal Mountains provided them some protection from outsiders not used to the weather. Her family had earned the trust and respect of the Darcsens around the area, but earned the distaste and animosity of everybody else for defending and helping the Darcsens.

Growing up was rough, although she was safe in the confines of Ishgard, there were the occasional outsiders whom she would encounter. She would endure the pain and abuse they would throw at her, holding back her anger and wanting to retaliate since it would only make things worse. Kalisa had a few friends growing up, but none was as close to her as Beatrice, whom she saw like a sister after many years of knowing each other. They'd often go outside of the city together and had the other's back whenever they got into trouble.

Her brother, elder of four years, served the Gallian army as early as he was allowed to help with the efforts of keeping Gallia safe and showing that Darcsens aren't bad people. He eventually came back in a coffin when he sacrificed himself to protect Gallian forces during a botched operation early in the First Europan War. Accompanying the announcement of his death were the few people whom he saved, and only them. The higher ups kept his sacrifice a secret and used his death as a way of keeping the other Darcsen in line, and only they knew about it. Despite his lineage, his selflessness changed their outlook on his race. Kasper's death left such an impression on Kalisa about the responsibilities and burdens of soldiers and their place in the war. That they can be used as political pieces to keep the status quo, but that they can also save and protect precious lives.

In a sick twist of fate after a few months later, Ishgard had become the center of conflict between the Atlantic and the Imperials. Civilians were caught in the crossfire, and although the Federation forces tried to minimize the innocent casualties, the Imperials were just too many and were forced to abandon the city and its people. Despite their unconditional surrender, being Darcsens, the few survivors were shot down in cold blood. Her parents were also executed when they tried to defend the townspeople, all of which Kalisa had witnessed while she was forcibly being dragged away from the site by Beatrice to avoid getting killed as well.

The gunfire and flames eventually died down after many hours later. The Imperials have left Ishgard empty and destroyed. Beatrice had been trying to stop Kalisa from coming back to the city for a few hours now, as she feels that someone else might still be alive. Her friend had decided that enough was enough, and promptly knocked Kalisa out with a punch to the gut to get her to comply a little easier to getting further away from the site. They were eventually found and rescued by a small Gallian squad who was patrolling the area that they were in. Having come to some time later, Kalisa found herself at a Gallian safe haven near the border of the Diebal Mountains. She and Beatrice were asked to describe what had happened, to which Kalisa would comply with. After relaying the information, she and Beatrice were allowed to stay and recover from their injuries and trauma from the experience.

It took her a few months of deep thinking, but she had found her answer. The girl would volunteer and enlist for the army. The screams, the blood, the gunshots, the flames. Those were the only things she remembered from the event that took everything from her. While she harbored some animosity towards both sides of the conflict, she couldn't find herself enlisting to enact on that animosity. But rather to enlist to try and protect somebody, anybody from experiencing what she went through.

As a girl who barely passed conscription, even by her own standards, Lucia holds one of the most frail and fragile bodies out of the entire 15th Atlantic Rifles. Her petite stance is almost laughable by some officer's as she stands only at 5' 2" tall without much room to grow anymore. She's, obviously, an Assen citizen who grew up living with a lower-classed family, so nothing more than the innocence of her smooth skin and brightness of her hair stands out amongst the crowds of unique soldiers and individuals. Her eyes glimmer a unique silvery shine that resonate smoothly with her own hair and pale skin, making her feel more dull in her eyes. To match her personality, it is rare to see her take any stance of power or aggression, usually holding her timidness in the body language she portrays and postures she holds. Whilst she isn't strong by any means, Lucia does have enough strength as such to barely survive what the war is making her do.

Personality
Lucia was one of the freshest recruits to be found in the 15th Atlantic Rifles and definitely holds the shame and fear that one should have. Her mind is almost as scared as her own small body is, shivering at the thoughts of major interactions or having to commit to the many atrocities the war makes them act upon. A true golden girl at heart, she tries her hardest to keep others safe, including the Imperials she is put up against, but does shoot her rifle if her or other people's lives are in danger. It's the only reason the army still keep her amongst the ranks, knowing that she will kill if she had to, despite her morality screaming for her not to. Lucia is as sweet as they come, trying to maintain a weakened but passionate smile throughout all the troubles she could find herself within. Her speciality is to comfort those who need it, but when she is placed in positions of trust and vicious importance she can't help but break down into tears or stressful anxiety. One of the many who shouldn't be serving on the frontlines, she longs for nothing more than to take back her homeland and return to the shack she grew up in, maybe bringing a few friends with her in the process. This acts for her silent determination, shrouded by the fear she always holds.

Biography
As previously mentioned, she shared the same nationality as that of the ruthless Lieutenant Middleton, residing in Assen before the war broke out. Her life was spent shrouded in poverty and difficulty, but that in itself built a strange determination and ability to keep going through the hardships she had to face, even if it meant crying the entire way. Many nights of lacking food towards the days where the harvest was no better than the previous day's worth encompassed her life and forced her to try and fend for herself amongst the troubles of her families. She was as singer, as such, and spent many of her days and hours travelling to nearby towns and cities to sing in the streets for individuals. Her performance gave her a small reputation as the Angel of Assen, one that made her appearance almost blissful to imagine. The money she gained from her small endeavours actively pushed her to secure a stablility amongst her family and friends that resided alongside her in the small Asseni shack. Eventually, on her thirteenth birthday, she was given the gift of an education as she was sent off to a boarding school in Cologne City. It was here where the world took a turn for the worst, especially for the victimised Lucia.

1911EC came around, the day in which the guns suddenly spiked up. The borders of Assen were rushed by the hundreds of Imperial soldiers as soon as the declaration of war was announced. Thousands died in the first every encounter, especially during the First Crossing of the Maren River, and Lucia was forced to evacuate on her own means. Many caravans heading towards the inner parts of the Federation were set up, but none stopped by the poverty-ridden landscapes of her home. Refusing to back down, Lucia found her own minor confidence to run on her own two feet. It was a grave mistake, one that would further prove that she was not capable of fighting or surviving a war. The Imperial soldiers were faster and managed to get ahead of her. Whilst she was unaware of them slipping by her lengthened journey of several week's walking, her house was found in shambles with only the bodies of her family around. She spent those nights in tears, crying in her old abandoned home, until the Imperials found her.

An act that would forever resonate within her heart, the Imperial Sergeant who found her instantly handed her peacefully over to the Federation in what was known as the 'Trading of the Heart'. Whilst Lucia's name wasn't associated with the event, the sign of temporary peace was definitely a sign that there was still humanity within both sides, even early on in the war. Lucia was slightly aware of how many papers picked up on that symbol of happiness and trust before the guns started blaring again, but it was nothing more than a grim reminder of what she found before the trade-off. The mangled and bloody corpses of her own cold family were enough to tear her apart permanently, causing her to derail and spiral down into a state of decay and disposed happiness. She eventually was set to join the Asseni Refugee Caravan situated where she was traded off to, where she spent the next year or two following the pathway of misconduct and uncertainty. That was until the Federation Government located them one day, reminding them of the low manpower and recruiting every last soldier they could find. Unfortunately for Lucia, she was considered just the right quota for the frontlines, a place she would scream and cry about for the nightmarish year to come.
