Personality: Usually quiet and somewhat shy, Asuka has a deep respect for nature, especially the monsters she hunts. Asuka never outright fears or hates monsters. Well, most monsters. She dislikes the smaller Neopterans, and is outright afraid of Temnocerans and large Neopterans. Whenever she's not training or hunting, odds are Asuka is somewhere with a book, or observing monsters in the field.
Biography: Asuka was born and raised in Bherna, and given that her father was a Hunter and her mother was a researcher, she came to understand and respect monsters at an early age. Despite this, her mother never wanted her to hunt, knowing how dangerous hunting monsters was. However, her father encouraged Asuka, and a friend of the family began training her. She learned quickly, and eventually mastered the Bherna style of hunting monsters. Because of her skill, she was selected to go to New Dundorma.

Appearance: Marta is a very tall girl standing a little over 198cm (6'5) Towering over most other girls. She's also a very built girl having clearly defined muscles, particularly her abs. Growing up in Pokke village has left her with fair white skin well suited to the cold climate. Her eyes are a pale lavender colour so pale they almost look grey. Her hair follows a similar pattern being a pale almost snow white colour, she likes to keep it long letting it drape down past her shoulders.

Loyal- Marta is fiercely loyal to those she counts among her close friends and will protect them with her life if it comes down to it. Be it from a terrifying monster or an evil ex, Marta will be there to help her comrades when things get serious.
Cheeky- Marta is a rather mischievous individual at times, often having fun making people a little uncomfortable with jokes, both practical and verbal. While she's in no way malicious she could end up taking things a little too far if she's not properly reigned in.
Uncouth- Marta is not the most polite person in the world, she's the kind of person who after letting out a loud burp will laugh and treat it as an achievement. She also lacks a lot of common manners like most table manners and appropriate use of curse words. She does know some things like saying thank you and giving handshakes though, but that's pretty much it. She is trying to improve, however.
Bold- Marta doesn't give a shit, she'll flip off a king or punch a Deviljho. (maybe not the second one she's not suicidal.) She's not one to easily shy away from anything be it a fight or an awkward situation.
Stubborn- If Marta is sure she's right then it's hard to make her think otherwise without hard evidence she can see for herself. This can be an issue when said hard evidence can't be produced.

Marta grew up in the quiet mountain village of Pokke, it was a peaceful upbringing bar a few close scrapes with monsters while gathering mountain herbs. Her childhood consisted of the normal Pokke village things like learning to farm, gather and deal with the harsh climate that they chose to live. Her life didn't get that much more exciting as she grew up, she ended up shovelling snow off of roofs and mining, both jobs that utilised her large stature and strong build. While it wasn't the most thrilling life it was the one Marta had and the one Marta loved, though she did deep down have a nagging to travel the globe and see what the world had to offer.
She'd thought of becoming a hunter for a while but wasn't sure how she'd go about getting into such a prestigious and dangerous profession. Of took her time considering it, it had the travel she longed for, it had the excitement that she'd been missing all these years and she'd have so many stories to tell not only to the people of Pokke village but the people of the world... But there was just no market for one, and it's not like Pokke was a place that needed hunters often. And when it did it was for monsters like the Gammoth and Tigrex, yes the occasional Giadrome or bulldrome caused trouble but those beasts were often dealt with quickly after all Pokke did have it's resident Hunter, quite a legendary one in fact. In fact, it was through a conversation with this master hunter that she learnt of new lands that were in search of new hunters both fledgling and professional.
The stars had finally aligned for Marta. It was time for her journey as a hunter to begin.

The ability to be detached (but valuing close friendships) allowed her to make logical decisions rather than emotionally driven ones.
» Strategic | When it comes to botanical and ecological studies, Einar is able to absorb the information like a sponge. Because she is curious about the world that she lives in, Einar finds herself always thinking and questioning. She is confident with her instincts and values discipline and intuition.
» Impersonal | Lastly, Einar is impersonal. This does not mean that she does not consider kindness and compassion above all else, but instead, needs to understand the rationalizing of getting to know someone. Some may consider her black and white, others would say "bland".

» Einar first was informed on the importance of botanical research whilst watching her father turn an herb into a potion. He was a popular researcher in the Kokoto Village; the go-to herbalist for hunters and traders all alike. As she grew older, the means and methods of cultivating and gathering were passed along to her. Einar poured over her father and his research team's books, learning with eagerness whenever she was able. She was taught how to combine a sleep herb with a Parashroom to create a tranquilizing bomb, identified the perfect Nullberry to cure blights, to creating an herbal powder by mixing a Godbug and herbal medicine together; a few of her many accomplishments as a young scholar.
» At the bittersweet of age 20, Einar's father passed away. By the this time, Einar was almost half of the researcher that her father was. She took on the task with helping Kokoto Village's research team while learning the ways of the Insect Glaive. The young villager knew that staying in Kokoto was naught. She was determined to expand her knowledge on botanical research with means to learn more about the monsters that shared their realm.
» Like many others, Einar boarded the airship to the new world of New Dundorma. Her decisions to leave her hometown and family behind were not due to an unyielding thirst for revenge nor ambitions or money. She was a Hunter and a Scholar. Her desires laid with the undiscovered findings of Kinsects, herbs and the Brute Wyverns.

Tyrin is a bit of a hot headed hunter. While a strategy is all well and good, he likes to play hunts by ear and spurs of the moment. Of course this leads to close calls as can be seen with several scars but he views it as living life to the fullest and what is bravery, without a dash of recklessness! Of course that's not to say he isn't against having a plan, while with most creatures he likes the chase of the hunt, he knows better that he would have to be much more cautious against an elder dragon, or some of the stronger variants of monsters.
For the most part he is a rather cheery fellow, who enjoys a good laugh or tale. It's hard to dampen his spirits or mood.

Tyrin hails from Yukumo Village, raised by his father who was the local smithy at the time. He never got to know his mother for she passed from a terrible sickness that swept through the village while he was young. While growing up and working under his father's wing, he saw many come into the shop from simple villagers looking for repairs on tools, to the mighty hunter's that were there at the village to gain armament and hone their weapons. From the tales that these hunter's would regale gave young Tyrin a sense of wonderment and awe. The older he grew, the more restless he got not content with remaining in the village. He wanted to see what lay beyond his village home.
For a time his father tried to curb Tyrin's adventurous spirit but ultimately conceded to defeat knowing that nothing he said would change his son's mind. Tyrin left the village at the age of twenty, setting out with a group of hunter's, at the time being more of just an extra hand to carry supplies. He slowly began learning more on the various skills that a hunter would need to know over time, taking up the hammer as his weapon of choice to clobber monster's with. Along the way he would run into a rather irritating palico named Tove, who eventually became his closest friend.

Kaze is an incredibly blunt person, preferring to keep things simple. He has an air of boredom around him, never seemingly in a rush. Unlike a good portion of hunters he doesn't strive to be trusted, merely respected for his accomplishments. He's still young and has plenty of time to do as he wishes and he knows this. Kaze does however have a rage streak in him. Certain things will set him off and it's hard to cool him back down, harder still is stopping him from wrecking what it is that pissed him off in the first place. This is normally tied to people he likes and or respects to a higher degree. But for the most part he's a relaxed, gruff, kind of grumpy man. Kids tend to call him an ornery old fart since he seems act two to three times his age.

Keeping things a little more clear for others to go after the larger more problematic ones. He has hunted larger monsters, but they aren't really his forte considering his weapon preferences. He's more supportive than in there dealing heavy damage, unlike those who wield hammers and greatswords.
He had been at it a good while, but wanted a change of scenery. Never a vacation, there were too many monsters for that. But a change of area, someplace unfamiliar, would give a new wave of energy for him. Selling all his gear, aside from the basics, he started to travel. Which was expensive, so it was good he sold his stuff! Arriving in New Dundorma he already started to gain that energy he was craving. The rush of a new land, new monsters, new hunts. Whether they're large or small he was actually excited to get to work now. He hadn't felt like that since he was twenty!
